Just ordered Maverick with 54" deck and Kawasaki motor. Ordered the mulch kit with it. Hoping that was the right choice. With my tractor, I always bagged it and figured hopefully the mulch kit will keep everything clean (and would be better for the lawn).
@@south_coast Will do. I won't have anything to compare to since it's being delivered with it, unless I decide to remove the kit. I can update if I do that as well for comparison
I tried that for a pass or two and it is definitely easier on the mower, but my intent here was to push all the clippings to the far end of the yard. I was getting it cleaned up for a get together and didn't want everyone trudging through a sea of grass clippings lol
Great video of a Bad Boy being put to a test. I really enjoyed it. I recently purchased a Bad Boy Rambler, 42" cut, and a 22hp Kohler. It's been dry here and the grass on our 3/4 acre hasn't grown much so I haven't had the opportunity to give the Rambler anything resembling a worthwhile test. I've searched and searched RUclips and cannot find even one video of the Rambler doing any actual mowing. Found several walk a round videos saying how well built it is but I'd like to see some videos of the Rambler being put to a challenge like you did.
Wow these mowers cut pretty nice! I so happen to test drive these the other day at my local dealer at Feldmans pretty nice ride a lil different but good ride nice video
That is a good point. In this case I was trying to direct most of the clippings away from the house. But you are definitely right....mowing out leaves less clumps and piles of clippings.
Just bought a bad boy maverick HD 54 with Honda EFI very well built and very comfortable and also cuts very well
Man I’d love to upgrade to the HD with an EFI engine. Those things rip!

Let me know how the mulch kit does. I am interested to see those results.

Try mowing the opposite direction which will blow the clippings away from the grass your cutting.

Loving your video, keep up the good work. Looking forward to get me one.

I wish I could afford to buy a new model every now and then to test them all out.
I found the 7 iron is best in field and wet grass due to higher capacity deeper deck I think it is the deepest
I mow our yard on 3.00....i mite try folding up the discharge chute ...mine clumps alot with it down
Yeah I generally run my shoot up as well.

Yes I would say mow the grass outward not inward so you don't end up with all them big piles of grass

I live in ky and I mow mine on 4.5 and it keeps it striped
Nice. I hope to someday get to the point where I can keep my grass maintained enough to stripe it.
@@south_coast my nana is across the street and her grass is so much more nicer than mine it’s weird that mine won’t look as good as hers lol
I love doing that mowing low
I just bought an avenger 🤙🏾
Good deal. From what I hear that’s a great mower also
