DOOM Music Reactions: ruclips.net/p/PLiT72mImvysNNJcTHmFkvPcmAMrGomm1-
So hyped!
it’s nine string guitar
Play Doom then Doom Eternal. The first Doom will get you use to how to keep up with the gameplay, Eternal will evolve it to the next level.
"They are rage, brutal, without mercy. But you. You will be worse. Rip and tear, until it is done." Doom 2016
Daily quotes to keep you pumped
Does he say "they are rage"? Or "they array"
Origin moment
"Against all the evil that he'll can conjure , against all the wickedness that mankind can produce , we send unto them only you. Rip and year until it is done." Doom: Eternal
"They are rage..."@@rayanreslan4256
The other tracks you need to hear are:
Doom 2016 - BFG Division, Damnation, Skullhacker
Doom Eternal - Metal Hell, Super Gore Nest, Meathook, BFG 10k
You're welcome =)
Even Metal Hell , it's really heavy
Super gore nest is fire🔥🔥🔥
Hellwalker from Domo 2016 also slaps super hard though. The build-ups in that song are something else.
why NOT INCLUDE 'ONLY THING THEY FEAR IS YOU" ??
@@nafeeahmed6191 Because he already reacted to it...
You should see his GDC talk, he explains how he achieved those sounds
I see that you're a man of culture as well
@Antonio Trivelloni Don’t forget the flute made from human bone
@@Lunix_Hardcore The what now? Where can I see this GDC talk?
@@Umbrailism ruclips.net/video/U4FNBMZsqrY/видео.html
A really long talk, but worth every minute
@@Umbrailism
RUclips hates links, so... If you cannot Google that siht, then you were never meant to see it. Good luck!
One important piece of advice when you pick up DOOM 2016 or DOOM Eternal: Don't play on hardest difficulty unless you're somewhere between a hardcore fps gamer to a fps god. These games are hard and you will end up dying at a frustrating rate if you pick a difficulty too hard for your skill level.
The nightmare difficulty is an actual nightmare i strugle to keep atleast 1 1up
@@ihatefishi i have beaten DOOM Eternal in nightmare, it took some time but i did it
Nightmare is the true difficulty though.
The thing about DOOM is you have to get used to never stopping, and efficient weapon swapping. If you can get decent at these two aspects, nightmare is the only difficulty you'll want to play in because essentially all it does is force you to play at a crazy high pace.
The game rewards aggression. Simple as that.
@@alexrosario423 Yeah I second that.....not to sound like 'that guy' who's being cocky, but Doom 2016 was honestly quite easy even on UV, especially in the second half when you have some upgrades, however Nightmare keeps things punishing and forces you to play better and faster...Eternal, however, doesn't get easier in the late game, so Nightmare isn't *as* essential IMO, but still far more fun to beat it and be comfortable at that pace...if it gets too hard, fair enough, but give Nightmare a good go before turning the dial down, mastering it is worth the pain
@@alexrosario423 I think "get used to" is an understatement :D Learning the doom dance (for DOOM Eternal) takes a lot of practice and skill to execute. I think the majority of players never truly manage to pull it off, or pull it off well enough. I think even for most players that beat it on Nightmare difficulty did it through brute force and trial and error, not because they learned or executed the doom dance well. This most likely turned it into a frustrating experience rather than enjoyable. I have seen this on couple of DOOM Eternal streams.
Super Gore Nest next for sure. One of my favs.
Hope the mix done by Koma :o I like his the most
@@ahugefan7059 agreeedddddd
give him the link for Koma's mix
@@lolwot7004 Right here, good sir: ruclips.net/video/8nZyemRSN-A/видео.html
@@ahugefan7059 I wish that that other guy’s channel didn’t get nuked by RUclips, he had the best mixes.
Funny thing is they did not want Mick to use guitars at first. This has got to be one of the biggest 'Oh no, you're so wrong' moments in the history of mankind.
I don't know why but the doom soundtrack sounds boring for me sometimes.
@@______373why? Lol
I'm gonna do what everyone else already did:
Doom 2016:
- Hellwalker (Brooding)
- BFG Division (Quite Intense)
Doom Eternal
- Cultist Base (No Guitars, but a Chainsaw)
- Meathook (This plays on the hardest parts of the campaign)
- Metal Hell
- Doomhunter
- BFG 10000
The Ancient Gods Pt 1:
- Blood Swamps
The Ancient Gods Pt 2:
- The World Spear
...and the Behind The Music videos Mick and Bethesda made
Yes, please, Hellwalker
The immora soundtrack in ancient gods sounds dope as hell too
You should check out BFG 10K from the Doom Eternal soundtrack.
Agreed. Ridiculously heavy song.
Do it
That track is a face melter for sure.
Just realized how Doom 2016's tracks still fit Eternal.
Riff at 1:58 sounds like Slipknot: The blister exists
Bfg division and cultist base my man. The BFG division 2016 version is better IMO mate
Cultist base last 30 seconds are just wow
Bfg 2020 is more of a remix really
Meathook
Skullhacker
Personally one of my favs is also VEGA Core
Cultist base is one where he used a lawnmower, definitely recommend that one
BFG Division 2016 is so damn good. I can listen to it on loop
Rip and Tear is good but BFG Division is real Nasty :D
Rip and tear: the thing that goes on inside the quiet kid
You dont know how to describe this... but we do. It's ripping and tearing.
If you haven't already, I really recommend "Meathook". It's a banger!
I love how if you've been playing the old doom games, you can hear lots of little references to the old music (pretty sure this one contains a nod to the track from the E3M8 spider boss battle)
Mick Gordon said for one of the songs he used the chainsaw sound effect from the first game, and somehow that translated to: “he recorded actual chainsaws and lawnmowers for the soundtrack,”
“For he alone...was the hell walker.”
Now wait until you heard BFG Division - your desk's gonna float. ;A
The lawnmower and chainsaw stuff is only for certain tracks. Cultist Base for example uses the synthesized sounds of a chainsaw as the major thing you hear in the song.
I love how he has to pause the video and count the strings on the guitar
Yeasss! Now you need to hear The BFG 10 000, BFG Division, Cultist Base, Meathook and The Super Gore Nest!!!!!!!)))
My favorite Genre of music
*Violence*
And in my humble oppinion BFG Division easily takes the crown. It's just pure violence masquarading as a soundtrack, the ammount of blood splattering head stomps in that video only enforces my view.
@Hoopsick Reacts you might wanna check that one out soon, it gets the adrenaline pumpin
@@Flavirus6 agreed
Also christian
The chainsaw bit is in "At Doom's Gate", it sounds about as nasty as you'd imagine. It's a short track that plays at the end of the prologue.
Every song on both game's soundtracks is awesome.
"the tuning is so low, it hits DEEP..." ::giggles in Sepultura::
there is only 1 word that can describe this song: A N G E R
I subbed because I love doom, I love how you react, and both.... perfect!
The best way I've ever found to describe a sound like this? Chunky. Very very chunky.
In doom you are not trapped in hell with demons the demons are trapped with you on hell that you created
"It's hard to explain..."
Yeah bro it's ripping and tearing. But nah fr it's amazing how gaming can have such amazing music production from something so dark and gritty like DOOM to stuff so beautiful like Dark Souls
Hoopsick:" oh we got gameplay?!"
Me:" nope! thats the music video!"
Mick Gordon's music is so deep, it's guttural. Like deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep in the pit of your gut, but in a good way.
I love how so often reaction channels have so much to say that they often just pull from nowhere, but these sound tracks so often leave them all wordless.
YWNBAW
It's not shredding, it's Ripping and Tearing
You should definitely watch and react to DOOM: Behind The Music Part 1 and Part 2 from Mick Gordon's own youtube channel, you'll see all the nutty shit that went into making these songs. There is even also a 1 hour long GDC talk as well.
I hope the 3rd album comes with a free game as well.
I'm jealous of anyone who hasn't yet played Doom 2016 or Doom Eternal. I grew up with the original games, so it's been amazing to play the recent releases just to compare them against the 90's originals.
Can't wait to try all these video games one day when they all become relics. I don't have access to any of them but at least I can see other people play.
Doom 2016 - BFG Division
Doom Eternal - Cultist Base
the soundtrack mixes sounds from guitar, base, chainsaw, weed wacker etc...
The chain saw and lawnmower thing isn't in this or in anything from Doom (2016), Its in the next game Doom Eternal after bethesda shareholders "recommended" that the sound track be more electro then metal. After Mick and them had a back and forth he finally "agreed" to not use guitars, They didn't say anything about recording lawnmowers and weedwhackers to pitch and effect them LIKE guitars though.
This lead to a huge fight between him and the shareholders to the point he left and the two DLC's are done by two different guys named Andrew Hulshult and David Levy who both in their own right are fucking heavy. Personally I'd say Andrew has some great work in the game he did before called DUSK, Check that soundtrack out.
im pretty sure doom 2016 was the one where they told mick to go electro, in eternal they just let him go do his own thing
At 4:35 he was about to headbang because he thought the beat was dropping and he *knew* it was going to be heavy
We are need more react on Doom ost🙏🏻🔥
Mick Gordon out of nowhere: hmm not enough chainsaw
Haha it's nice to see people listen and react to Doom 2016 and Eternal for the first time
What you just heard was what I like to call the "Radio Friendly" version of Rip & Tear! 😜
There's an even angrier, more brutal version of this, and it's the one we can hear in-game when we play DOOM (2016).
I suggest to check out *"Mick Gordon - Rip & Tear (DOOM 2016 - Gamerip V3)"* from the RUclips channel Koma. I swear to DOOMGUY you are not prepared for this! 🤪
link?
@@gamingwith3033 Just copy-paste "Mick Gordon - Rip & Tear (DOOM 2016 - Gamerip V3" in the youtube search bar!
This song is pure destruction!
I believe that's drop B tuning it sounds like the same tuning that Slipknot does and that is drop B tuning
You know that stuff hits hard when you make the 01:10 face

@@fleischtomate2435 well yeah but I meant the original sorry, like there are alternate versions of the songs
@@SkippyTheBoy66 ruclips.net/video/tITkTp83VRU/видео.html this one?
I like that one the most
@@fleischtomate2435 yes this one
This one is the most clear and polished version but I think the game rip is far better than this.
Mick is doing small strums on the guitar, yet each strum has enough metal to bench the whole gym.
Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal are some of the best fast paced first person shooters ever made and the soundtracks make it a "ballet of destruction" (Angry Joe).
You should aslo listen to "Doom Eternal - Slayer Gates (Mick Gordon)". It has realy good music.
The track's name is Meathook.
Check outz, please "David Levy - immorra (Doom Eternal: TAG P2 -Gamerip ) by Koma"
I second this suggestion. Awesome track.
And I got to say drop B is one of my favorites
Watch Mick's GDC talk. He's a literal Wizard.
alot of the sounds are produced by just running wave form sound through effect and mixing boards that are worn and old and picking up the little sounds they add to the sound put through thou the chansaw and mower really changed what you would consider instruments lol
Yes,the one and only Mick Gordon used a chainsaw and also a lawnmower for these soundtracks.
And yes,you should check out BFG Division. You are going to enjoy it.
Bfg division from doom 2016. Mick's magnum opus.
If you think this is low, you should def check out 4D by Northlane
5:11 the reaction hits hard here lol
He tunes the guitar to Hell low
THE SUPER GORE NEST is the mos violent song in the soundtrack. (the gameriped version)
You gotta check out Flesh and Metal. From a technical point of view that song is a serious mindfuck.
If possible, kindly do another one of Mick Gordon's soundtrack titled The Partisan Feat. Tex Perkins. That song takes you on an emotional journey.
Bro DOOM GREAT GAME TRUST ME. Idk about the dlcs but the main campaign 🤙🏼🤙🏼💯
Mastermind OST from Doom 2016 is also worth a listen.
you should check out the Behind the music vid.
RIP AND TEAR, UNTIL IT IS DONE!
You want a f****** destructive crunch thrash sound get a chaos box they're so worth it they're expensive but they're worth it
Cultist Base, my dude. You won't be disappointed.
Super Gore Nest or BFG Division , for sure
When you play DOOM, you are doing Gods Work 😇
Just so you know, BFG means BIG FUCKING GUN
I've subscribed for Doom reactions!
You should listen to the super gore nest really good sounds that all blend nicely together
omg what watch are you wearing? it looks awesome! XD
You gotta to rust, dust, and guts. One of my favorites
of course the next on the list are BFG division and supergore nest
He bro, nice video. Can you react to Doom Eternal BFG division?
I cant believe they fired such a legendary
they didnt fired mick... he left
BFG Division should definitely be next on your list
Need to check out Blood Swamps from the doom eternal ost.
Two words: Blood Swamps.
Cultist Base next!
Pls react to "Meathook" doom eternal next
Okay guys, it's time to spam him with the new Alluvial album. Can't not do a full album review
If you like the pauses and the suspense and the low tuning, you *need* to do BFG Division next. Rip & Tear is good, but BFG Division... it's just so massive, monumental, majestic. It hypes you up and makes you feel you can do the same things as when listening to Rip & Tear, BUT IN EPIC SLOW MOTION.
Check out BFG Division from Doom (2016) please!
Its not heavy it is just special its like the special sauce to a hamburger you will dig it
The audio quality isn't the greatest, but check out his live performance from the video game awards, the guys from Periphery are backing him up.
BFG division and Cultist Base ooolala
You should DEFINITELY pick up Doom Eternal it's probably the best game i've played and im not that big of an fan when it's this type of music but when it's DOOM you just cant hold in the rage, you need to rip & tear everything.
The Doom Slayer does not get PTSD. The Doom Slayer IS the traumatic event. BFG Division isn't boss music for a demon, it's the boss music for the Doom Slayer when he walks into a room of demons.
