I'm hyped for the streams, i'll probably watch vods but it's gonna be sick. My pro tips are to bind each weapon to their own button if you want and to keep movin'. Pretty general tips but they helped me a lot
(Mick Gordon) Doom Eternal OST - Meathook
Meathook and cultist base are the two big ones left, then there's super gore nest, metal hell, and bfg 10000, bfg 10k especially because it's so friggin metal
Also I don't see anyone recommending these but doom eternal has two dlcs (ancient gods part 1 and 2) scored by a different guy Andrew hulshult they're also some heat. Blood swamps heavy fighting is my favorite.
mick was instructed not to make it another ''metal'' song. he said fuck that. picked up an actual chainsaw. recorded it. and worked on this.

Greatest metal Album ever. Comes with a free game.
All-out heavy-death-metal…
Aha I see what you did there
@@ForbiddenAbdullah403 Interestingly (and joking aside), this was actually the type of promotion that got Doom 95 so popular: Buy Windows 95 and get a copy of Doom for free.

Perfect way to describe Mick Gordon.

Cultist base is absolutely a must as well
BFG 10k, this and Meathook also!
cultist base is my favorite
ah yes, the WEEWOO track
lets be honest... the whole album is a must...
@@THCLK agree!)
You should also listen to "super gore nest" and "meathook". They are amazing.
Super Gore Nest is by far my favorite
@@jaymzmusic_ the game ripped version is the most ultra violent track.
And metal hell
Cultist Base is my personal favourite tbh!
meathook is soo good
This song is so so simple on guitar but so goddamn heavy and badass, I literally sold my 6 string and bought an 8 string just to play this.
As one man from the Internet said:
Ah, yes, my favourite genre of music...
*V I O L E N C E*
The only issue with Doom songs is that they are designed for you to be fighting in the game for 10+ minutes per arena so they can get a bit repetitive. The best songs that are more like actual songs are The only thing they fear is you, Cultist Base and Meathook.
There are plenty of really good songs but they are meant to be in the game and get repetitive such as BFG Division, BFG 10K, Super Gore Nest, Gladiator, Vega Core, Mastermind and Cyberdemon.
These would be more suited to listening to multiple small sections of them in 1 video or something. Just a small recommendation.
doom eternal?
If you are spending more than 10 minutes per arena, you are playing it bad xD
Just kidding, sometimes it feels a little repetitive
@@Rorschach_Tattoo On Nightmare you will be in a lot of places for at least 5-10 mins
@@Vega-yb8ko man those 5-10 mins feels like forever because you are in high alert through out , the constant pressure from Heavy units and you picking a priority target while trying not to die from every unit because they Hurt so fucking much

what fuckin game are you playing
Such a great track! I'm interested to hear what you think about the BFG 10K track from doom eternal.
Other games: Tutorial
Doom: "gives Shotgun"
you know what to do
This song definitely incorporates the screaming of the damned with the the rev of a chainsaw very well.
The principal pattern from this tune was actually recycled from "Inferno" in the KI soundtrack, one of mick's favorite songs from the game. The Killer Cuts soundtrack from the original KI was the first album he ever bought. Definitely look at his work on the 2013 remake.
I will never get sick of people reacting to this song. Gives me chills every damn time!!
Mick is such a musical genius that if you put the Cyberdemon track into a Spectrograph you can see 666 and pentagrams laced into the synth.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Mick Gordon helped with BMTHs latest record
He did, and it was great. More bands need to hit this dude up
Yea I think one of the tracks he help with was parasite eve...there are probably more but I don't know of the top of my head
@@Hoopsickdo a live video of you listen all doom songs and Atlantic and the acient gods soundtrack
Can't say enough about Mick Gordon and his absolutely diabolical skill to this genre, but I do thoroughly love how that video was edited. The timings, the cuts, the bits of gameplay mixed with mad scientist analogue work
BFG Division is not a song, it's an experience.

I love watching Doom OST reaction videos for some reason. :D
Next up in my opinion would be:
- Hellwalker from Doom 2016 (the freaking *main menu theme of the game* and it slaps soo hard)
- Meathook, Super Gore Nest and Cultist Base from Doom Eternal
- Blood Swamps and UAC Atlantica from the Doom Eternal DLCs.
Honestly you should do all of them because they are just so damn neat!
Dont forget "Earth Recovery" & "Inmora Battle"
I'm a simple man. I see hoopsick I give a like.
🙏
DOOM is one of those games that has such a large amount of nostalgia with its music both new and classic to make a grown man cry
Well now you have to watch the medley that Mick Gordon and Matt Halpern from Periphery performed at the Video Game Awards live a few years back. I mean, unless you don’t want your mind blown even more.

I second this wholeheartedly
"This is rocket science 🚀"
"I don't know what rocket science is actually" "is it gonna hit?..no it's gonna end" 😂
Ultimate Beast of a anthem great reaction! 🙌 🔥 😈👹
Definitely want to hear more of Mick especially in collabs like more bmth.
the tuning on his 9 string is Double Drop D, in-case you're wondering where to start and the genre is Argent Metal, he recently produced Bring Me The Horizon's new Album: "Post Human: Survival Horror"
You need to check out the wave forms of these tracks.
Mick hid pentagrams and the mark of the beast in them as a super easter egg
I think the craziest part about the doom soundtracks is that they are simple if you look at them. When I first listened to the tracks I thought there was just a whole orchestra of people and then you watch the video and you realize it’s one man with like 6 or 7 instruments
Fun Easter Egg for Doom Eternal, verified by Mick Gordon (Search online for "Mick Gordon Easter Egg")
Mick made a riff with 5 notes written in 5/4 timing (5 notes in a beat instead of the standard 4). The notes shown in a "Circle of Fifths" show the notes played are spaced roughly equally and can be connected to form a pentagram in the Circle of Fifths. He placed that riff in every song in Doom Eternal. He also hid 666 and a Pentagram in Doom's soundtrack that you could only find if you ran it through a spectograph. Also, if you listen to the screaming sounds they played on the title screen I think, you'll hear the sound of a Recorder recital playing if you listen to it in Mono.

I have listened to this song multiple times. Everytime I hear it I gotta bang my head. 🤘🤘😎😎🤘🤘😈😈
You should look into how Mick Gordon did all his sampling. There's some great videos detailing it. He sampled chainsaws, lawnmowers, created his own compressor, etc.
I've been waiting for this!!!!
Love to see how much you looked captivated by the whole music man. First time watching this channel and I loved it! Hope to see more doom reaction in the future.
I suggest you take a look especially at doom eternal's ost (these are my favorite) :
"Super Gore Nest" (The original is Amazing but the mix Koma made makes it eve better);
"Meathook";
"Metal Hell" (Koma mix is suggested here too) ;
"Cultist Base";
"BFG Division 2020";
"Blood Swamp TAG1" (Koma) ;
and last but not least "Immora TAG2" (Koma)
PS: If you want to play the game, I recommend you play both Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, so you can see the difference and appreciate Doom Eternal even more!
Sorry for the long comment, again, loved the video, hope you keep going making more reactions! Peace✌️
I said this before, he also did the soundtrack for the newest Kiler Instinct game and his work on that is sick af as well.
Type-03 from the Killer Instinct soundtrack. Sounds like he added some influence from Fear Factory. Pure awesomeness.
He worked on a few of Bring me the horizon songs in their new album
The purity of Bloodrush when entering complete rage !
Like that cold-ass beer on a insanly hot summer evening!
This song literally sounds like what would be played when all chaos let's loose.
Head banged so hard my head phones almost broke my computer screen
Can we talk about how he flexes the 8 string with one string only? Its like he is posessed by DoomGuy.
its not from me but this quote summarize so well :
Fact : Mick Gordon is so metal, hes been put on the periodic table.
You really need to watch his GDC talk where he goes through his entire soundscape creation. It's fucking wild and he's a literal Wizard.
Sick vid! Instant like! Now The BFG 10k, Cultist Base and Meathook are must have!)
Absolute favorite... "The only thing they fear is you"
The audio quality isn't the greatest, but check out his live performance from the the video game awards. The guys from Periphery are backing him up.
My favorite DOOM songs have to be Cultist Bass, DoomHunter, Meathook, Gladiator Boss, Metal Hell and Icon of Sin. You should definitely check some of these out
Τhe only thing they feat is you?
I know I don't talk much but I agree
lol love that stank face you do every time something epic happens
What is the name of the intro music? Sounds so sick
Bout DAMN time you reacted to it!!!!!!! 😆🤘
Never have i ever wanted my volume to be above the maximum before this
Man you really need to react to BFG10k by Mick Gordon. It's so good!
It's an often overlooked piece but The Trial of Maligog from Doom Eternal's DLC is excellent, particularly Koma's mix of it
It's also not Mick Gordon but David Levy, one of the two musicians they hired for the DLC (the other being Andrew Hulshult), which gives it a distinct difference from Mick's work while still bringing across Doom's essence in a phenomenal way
Leeetsssgoooooooow
People play guitar hero, people play beat saber, but the only rhythm game worth playing is DOOM
This makes me want to bring a mattress to the pillow fight
If you haven’t already, look into the making of the soundtrack with Mick Gordon, he collaborated with a bunch of death metal vocalists to compose chant sequences. I don’t remember any of the names, it’s been a while since I saw the video, but he actually tapped a bunch of actual famous metal bands and had them come into the studio and they created chant vocals for some of the songs, it’s dark it’s eerie it’s guttural and it’s just insane!
You have got to react to Poppy's whole "I Disagree" album. So much craziness going on there. One of the best most unique albums I have ever heard
Oh my goodness, every time🤯
BFG= Big Fucking Gun
Bahaha the little freak out at 2:48 I felt the same 🤣
Not sure if it makes a great reaction, but you should watch the interview where he talks about his process on Doom 2016 soundtrack. There is a lot of cool madness in his method. Using images to produce sound, and not only that images that relate to the game themes. It's crazy but awesome, even though I don't know nothing about sound mixing.
Mick Gordon is very talented. I like the different sounds he uses.
Mick Gordon's transitions are so fucking clean
RIP AND TEAR
The screaming sounding is a Russian synthesizer called a polyvox
my god, the doom soundtrack makes me wanna cause caos and destruction until my brain and heart stops working.
What music is this?
MG fans - “Audio Violence”.
after listening to Micks talks about how he developed these tracks, the coolest point he made was how he changed his mindset to change the result. instead of playing the instrument and then processing the sound with the tuners and devices he was using. he instead changed his mindset to build the instrument with those devices and used the guitar/drums as just an input device. that's why it's so unique sounding. some of these "instruments" are like 13 machines hooked up to one another and remixed with chainsaws cutting meat or soundwaves that show 666 in a pictograph, and he strums the sound of that "instrument" with a guitar.
i highly suggest watching that presentation. it's fascinating. and you will get a much deeper respect to how well thought out and unique his tracks actually are.
Mick Gordon nails it every single time 🤘😋
Till this day I can't understand why DOOM ETERNAL not winning any award from Game awards back in 2019.
Some recommendations:
Rip and Tear
Mastermind
From Doom Eternal:
The Only Thing They Fear is You
Meathook
Cultist Base
Hell on Earth
Metal Hell (Nekravol)
Super Gore Nest
Gladiator
Doom Eternal's DLCs (Not Mick Gordon but still godly):
UAC Atlantica
Blood Swamps
Immora
Don't even make a video about em, just give them a listen. There's more, but I feel like these ones really blast your ears
"Meathook" definitely, yes. It's from recent Doom Eternal's soundtrack.
I would recommend

In the world of synthesizers and digital audio, one knob can do a lot.
Its even phatter because you don't have to leave room for vocals!
"Slayer Gates" from Doom Eternal doesn't disappoint
This is my thinking song when I'm playing Scrabble.
Seriously.
this is a song that's dangerous to drive to
That's the most evil harp I've ever seen

Now you gotta do Vega Core that one is pretty sick too.
You had me at "Nastiest Juciest Riffage"
When the DJENT music kicks in…
A note to hoop that whine after the 3rd drop of the main chorus is actually a chainsaw Gordon synted for the song I'm not too sure but I think every guitar bit is actually a chainsaw Synth too but idk
You should check out Village of Whispers by Mick Gordon that he did for Killer Instinct (2013). He did the first 2 seasons of that game, and it was amazing.
How have you not heard this track yet.... Its been out since 2016
Fun fact:mick actually sampled a chainsaw for some of the riffs. Its amazing how canonical it is too doom
that song started playing when the slayer entered hell
in DOOM, you are the raid boss, and this is your theme
it's amazing🔥
this what i call HEAVY METALL
That major vibe thing resembles me 80' serial killer music thingy. Or something from Tales from the Crypt.
The only thing they fear is you is a song you must absolutely listen to
bfg division reactions never dissapoints)
this is flat out the best doom track of both games super gore nest a close second this is truly the sound of unapologetic violence. i dare a concert to play it in a big crowd of drunk ppl.
Hello! Tell me please where i can order this poster "The Only Thing They Fear Is You"?
I like that he uses Mayones Regius 8 for this. :D
