The channels on the RTT without the risers spreads the weight across all the bars on the roof rack evenly for the most part. So with the risers, wouldn’t the weight of the RTT be mainly on those four risers? Instead of evenly across all the bars of the roof rack?
About to buy your tent risers for my Ikamper 2.0. I have a GX460 with a victory 4x4 my only question is what hardware do I use to install? I only see you sell hardware for the 3.0! I get a lot of vibration and squeaking from the load bars. PLEASE I NEED HELP I’m fed up with all the cabin noise. Thank you 🙏🏼 hoping I get a reply
how do you handle security? I have my ikamper on, which i love but it does rattle which is annoying. The feet provide some security as very few people have the 2 foot long alan key you need to loosen and tighten the clamps. Having it just bolted feels less secure to me.
whats good fellas - i installed the roofnest falcon xl on top of the prinsu 1 in risers to a full prinsu rack on a 4runner, problem is it continues to squeak and creak with every bump. all nuts and bots are tight .. any ways i can fix this ?
I just finished installing my FSR odyssey tent onto my 3rd gen 4runner Sherpa rack with 0.5 inch tent risers. I love their design and how it looks. When I drive I notice the tent bounces a little I was wondering if your 4runner’s tent does that as well. I used to have it on a diy 2 crossbars set up and it wouldn’t bounce but now with the rack it does? Maybe it’s the tent and risers absorbing vibration?

Just buy some quarter inch thick aluminum . Cut out some rectangle washers. Making pretty much the same bracket your bolt to, and stick them between the tent and cross bars. It’ll cost you $20 instead of $100. It lifts the tent a quarter inch and stops the rattling. Easy peasy

There are different size risers so that could be possible
