In this video we install our Roam tent on our 4Runner with tent mounts from Sherpa Equipment Co. The install was a bit difficult getting the tent up there and installed with just 2 people but could be done. With these mounts installed we didn't have any squeaking like we previously had with the original Roam mounts. Tent was sturdy and was tight even after an off-roading trip.
This install video was shot in a different manner than how we usually do our install videos. We tried to make it more of a vlog style video but informational at the same time. If you're reading this, let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Thanks for the video, guys. Are the mounts you installed the Short or Tall (0.5" vs 1.0")? I've had my eye on these, but I have a Prinsu roof rack. From what I've seen, Sherpa & Prinsu crossbars are both 2"x1" and essentially compatible. Would you agree?
I don't have experience with the Prinsu rack but I know they are very similar. As for the brackets, we used the short ones.
What a nightmare, I'm disappointed.
