Even though I’ve never lived in Joliet, it’s my favorite town in Illinois. I can always find something fun to do there every time I’m visiting which I always have been doing. Wheaton was my hometown which is about an hour or less north and it’s right next to Naperville. I thought I would write a separate comment talking about something different.

Deep dish pizza. Lovely flavour but who can finish one? They’re so filling!
Lots of people got married in 2020 (married privately or small crowd) but chose to have a reception in 2021 or got remarried in 2021 (married publicly via religion) due to COVID
The wedding I went to was a week and a half ago and crazy seeing my friends getting married in person (wedding, reception, etc)

I know I’ve never attended a Christmas wedding, but I’m sure I would know what it’s like. It kind of reminds me of the wedding I went to in Florida a few months ago and the one I’m attending next month hopefully will be. They’re both my cousins that are sisters. The one I was already at was the older sister’s and she’s three years older than the other.

By the way to be honest I’m really not a wedding person. Too long of a story to explain why, but had to tell the truth since you asked that question in this video. Anyhow, I am a huge fan of deep dish pizza, yes I would also want to get one of those when in the Windy City! Too bad the visibility was poor to get good views from the towers but I understand how that all works!
Deep dish pizza is overrated. Tried it once and it was meh for me. Chicago-style hotdogs on the other hand, are def good.

Seems to be these days as a result of COVID the dress code for weddings and funerals even have gotten to be more laid back

I would rather go to a funeral than a wedding. It's over faster and you don't have to deal with drunk family members acting like idiots.....LOL
While I"m unclear as to who in your family got married, clearly you were out of your element. No offence but your suit makes you more appropriate for a limo driver than a wedding guest. Somebody wrote a fat check for use of that facility, catering, flowers,the musicians--perhaps in attending, you're getting a glimpse of your future! Anxious to get back to SF?
