Haha great comment. I went thru the same thing, and now i have a debadged x3m in the garage :). People get gapped daily. Only real diff is the extra 500 pounds, which means weaker low-end compared to an m3. You feel the lag more from the S58 (unless you tune like in the vid) in this config. Turns into a rocketship at 3k+. I love it. I'd get the M3/4 if I were a single man tho, hands down xD. Will be adding an m3 cs to the fleet one day for sure :).

Have a debadged 24 tuned to 700whp that i can make super quiet with the valves closed. Full electronic countermeasures suite too (R9 +HWRDR + SDS100). Insane car, you won't regret it.

I swear I drove and wanted a 911 4s but it's too small and stupid expensive, this car is 2/3rd cheaper and I'm more more than pleased with it and you can smoke almost any car with a washing machine in the back, have fun, I'm so happy and privileged and appreciative to have this car,.
I just flashed my 2019 X3 M40i with MHD Stage 1 and WOW! I can only imagine how much difference your X3M gained with twin turbos :D You will want to replace the spark plugs and get cold air intakes if you don't already have them. Once I did that, I really noticed the improved performance and throttle response.

Try the VVT stage 3 turbos for about the same cost( if you know how to install and tune yourself). 850 HP for 2200 bucks will give you 8s at sea level on gas pump. What other manufacturer can offer that?
Just got my hands on an OBD Flash Ready 2020 BMW X3M Non MC like yours but toronto red metallic exterior and sakhir orange interior, Very tasteful mods you've done such as gloss back accents, grill and emblems! A Question for you, what made you pick MHD over BM3. I am leaning heavily toward MHD Myself especially seeing they make the most power from any tuner with an OTS Map. 30 Hp more than BM3 Stage 1. Also Have you attempted to run E40 Blend runs with stage 1?
I picked MHD because of my previous history with MHD, had a 335 tuned via MHD over 80K miles with no issues... also I think their OTS maps are better than BM3 like you mention plus it is cheaper. The only reason to prefer BM3 is if there is a specific tuner you are hoping to get a custom tune through that uses BM3.
Love the vids, Im in the process of buying a used x3m but trying to figure out the tuning process, i guess worst case I just use JB4 but does bm3 or mhd let you know if the dme needs to be unlocked or anything? Im scared of running those and then it bricks the car
I have one in grey. I would start with an intake, the bootmof tune. Active autowerks midpipe and MSS suspension. You won't need to do anything else after that

BMW refused to extend the warranty on my X3M comp when they found it was tuned. If you're under warranty now, they could use a tune as an excuse to deny claims on drivetrain issues. Should not affect claims on items unrelated to the engine or transmission.
The computer inside was saying over 600hp? Then the car was already tuned when you got it. The gauges don’t go that high on the stock X3M. Just an FYI.

its rough cant lie . worse in sport mode at low rpms car is jerky and you feel everything. upgrade with mss or kwv3

The sport gauges are just for show and fun. No way in hell you are at 630 hp with a stage 1 tune.

Yes, I would highly recommend an ECU tune. There’s a couple brands you can choose from - MHD and Bootmod3 are probably the most popular of the group.
