Yo, if you're on the fence about whether or not this would provide an actual workout, it WILL. The genius ring is based off a Pilates ring, while it might not seem too difficult, pushing/pulling with max strength WHILE holding the rep DOES exhaust your muscles. The controllers track pretty well, so you're forced to maintain good form if you want to do more damage during battles. Squats are the devil's work, if you put it on max difficulty you'll have to do over 30 reps that you have to hold at the bottom pose for like 5 seconds. Done? Good, you took out 1/3 of the enemy health. ... Now it'll just take 60+ more squats. 😂 Seriously, this thing has a heart rate monitor function too, and on high difficulty you're going to be sprinting in place to move through the stage, some areas you literally cannot progress without sprinting fast enough (backwards conveyor belts cough). SERIOUSLY, buy this game. If it gets successful enough, then hopefully they can make more Ring based games or even introduce a higher resistance ring! If you ever used to play DDR to lose weight, THIS is the best modern equivalent!! (there is a rhythm game too, and the highest difficulties are hard AF).
Fact: This game along with Animal Crossing and the Nintendo Switch was sold so fast during quarantine. Luckily for Nintendo Switch owners, if you weren’t able to obtain this during quarantine, there is another workout game by Nintendo called Jump Rope Challenge which stars a brown bunny doing jump rope.

The opening music was the music they used in the original trailer when we knew nothing about the game! For those of you who don’t know, this game was revealed with people doing random things with a ring and leg strap with no game footage, and the game itself was revealed a week later. The opening music was from that first trailer!
Im sure Iwata would be proud of this product. I remember he was big into offering "healthy or fitness related" Nintend products, I cant remember the specific name of his proposed project or program, but glad to see this was made by them.
I just hit Day 50, and level 120 earlier today. It really does makes exercise feel fun and I haven't gotten bored at all yet. So weird to see this video pop up on my feed today.
I using this 3-4 times a week, 15~20' exercises at a time. Everything hurt. Still keep going. I don't exercise much and this was fun way to keep me active.
This game is so good. The music is nice, the exercises are very cool and you definitely work out while playing it. Playing it every second day. I don't regret buying it and would do it again.

I tried this knowing I don't exercise. I chose intense mode, level 30 and I was climbing the stairs near the end of the level. Next thing I knew, I reached the hospital. 10/10 great workout
For anyone on the fence like I was 7 months ago. I wasn't sure if the ring was just a gimmick or how effective it would be, turned out it was the real deal. I started out only being able to play in 10 minute increments but I play for an hour 3 times a week now and can move like I havent been able to do in 10 years.
I just got this game today and my God is this a good work out! I put it on the hardest setting and I’m honestly surprised I survived. Totally recommend it, especially during quarantine.
Despite being (mildly) physically disabled, I bought this to maintain muscle strength, and to keep me moving. I have to say, it is worth it. Started today and I'm already excited for my next training. I'm building up slowly 🙂
Nintendo: Why bother rushing game releases when we have good library of games just sitting there Also Nintendo: Still no updates/DLC on Super Mario Party and MK8 Dx
Well, Ozana Gacha, I had happened to make a joke out of the fact a trailer for a game that has been out for nearly a year dropped on RUclips about 37 minutes ago, as marked by the boldness of the “ring fit adventure” text, implying that it was meant to be read in a sarcastic tone, (though I do understand the confusion, as bold text on a RUclips comment isn’t very obvious) and also to poke fun at the fact that Nintendo has been refusing to give us any information about their future for nearly a year. (it will have been a year in 4 days, 5 hours and 45 minutes, given my timezone)
I've been playing for more than one month straight and it has been more than worth it. If you can't get into doing normal workouts, you should really give this a try.
Nintendo, can you add a bow shooting game to ringfit? The exercise form is so cool, would be even cooler if we're really shooting at something xD I loved the part where the dragaux would throw boxes at you and we have to clear it with air puffs by pressing into the ringcon , the aiming reminds me of shooting a bow in BOTW (except I have weak arms so I give out after a few puffs)
I got this game for my birthday about month ago, and let me say, it's the most fun I've had while exercising in a while! Haven't finished the game yet, but once I've obtained everything in the adventure mode, I'll definitely be restarting it!
This game has kept me in shape all through quarantine. The resistance band controller is no joke, I thought I was gonna break it when it first told me to push in as hard as I could but it is built incredibly tough. The story mode is well done and it's not the most intriguing story in the world but it does world building well and its fun navigating it through working out. I usually do 2 story missions a day (30 minutes or so) then on the main menu go to the extra workouts and do sets of reps targeted at certain areas since those contain workouts I haven't unlocked yet in the main game mode. There's even mini games and a Beat Saber style game set to different Nintendo melodies. It's a shame this game was sold out for so much of quarantine because Nintendo could have made a fortune on this since the gyms were closed. I got lucky and got mine in December before all this happened and sure enough when the gyms closed this game flew off the shelf.
My brother owns this but I don't live with him, I only play this game when my brother visited us so I could enjoy exercising in this game too but sadly I can't do it daily since I don't own it and I want to own one
Oml I just got this yesterday day 1 of exercise and I was dying with just the first 2 levels. I hadn’t worked out in 2-3 months due to a new hectic job that keeps me on my feet all day! With this I’ll be able to get a quick workout in before I go to work

@@TheLoneBit Well one thing I learned when trying to get fit, when my life gets interrupted affecting my current fitness routine, I have a hard time getting back to it. But sometimes just showing up and putting in 5 mins on a regular basis is an ok starting point. It's about habit and being present to exercise period. Dont compare current you to previous you. You know how you had to work last time and how quickly you were able to build up time. Maybe set up a 5 min personal routine doing your favorite exercises and start with that adding 2 mins the next time until you feel your ready to start "the program" again. We dont loose our fitness overnight and therefore we cant get it back overnight. Best wishes to you and Id love to hear a follow up after you get back into things again! 😊
@@TheLoneBit sup, 2 years later: hope you picked it back up and sticked to it, but even if not, remember this: you don't have to force yourself to play everyday, and after taking a break, it's perfectly fine to lower the difficulty and do shorter sessions for a bit until you get your previous stamina back. because you will get it back, and pretty quickly. every second you play this thing, you're doing something good for yourself. doesn't have to be same time every day for weeks, doesn't have to be at level 30, doesn't even have to be adventure mode. as long as you're giving it a go regularly, you'll maintain a certain degree of fitness. start it nice and easy, and start pushing yourself only if you want to.

This looks like a really well thought fitness game. Might have to get this one day. Looking forward to the next one they'll make
Love this game! My kids and myself play it daily!
Hint: Jack up the difficulty from the jump for a culture shock to your fitness if you aren't an active person.... Tone it down from there instead of starting low and being comfortable. Nothing in this game will hurt you.
"Nothing in this game will hurt you." I'm now paralyzed due to this advice
@@garyoconnor1780 I hope you’re joking…
Every single major corporation is building a version of the metaverse. Microsoft, Sony, Meta, Amazon all robotics and VR division. Why do you think that is? Why do you think Lord Gaben, blessed be his light, his warm, his grace, bestowed onto us the steam controller and the index? The dude has a massive godlike LLM brain. He knew the future of gaming would be haptic/wearable devices. He knew that if you wanted to remain pure to gaming you have to have a private gaming studio.
I love you gaben. You are our hero.
Now this is exercise im willing to do. In the comfort of my home where no one can judge me except myself.
I using this 3-4 times a week, 15~20' exercises at a time. Everything hurt. Still keep going. I don't exercise much and this was fun way to keep me active.
Slowpoke: I can’t wait for the new, upcoming Nintendo game, Ring Fit Adventure!
I just bought this game knowing 2021 may be as harsh or worse than 2020 in terms of the pandemic. It's the best purchase I've done in a while.
This game is so good. The music is nice, the exercises are very cool and you definitely work out while playing it. Playing it every second day. I don't regret buying it and would do it again.
I finally found this at retail yesterday. I imagine this is a "We've restocked this item." video.
Also, Ring Fit Trainer for smash?
No
Doubtful. They’ve already been introduced as spirits post-game release. That’s usually a sign they won’t be playable.
for anyone wondering if they should get this: YES 100% !! definitely helped me over quarantine and made me actually enjoy exercise for the first time! I’ve completed the entire game in just a few months and already redoing it again. seriously so so good. makes me feel good mentally as well :) lost a lot of inches on my waist which is exactly what i was hoping for:)
Is they’re both a story mode and a free play mode? and can you have two or three different save files?
You can very much make your own workouts and every Account on your Switch hast a Safefile for themselves
I hope this means a restock is planned
They restocked my local gamestop last week, was able to pick 1 up! Check online
I believe a decent size restock already happened
Your better off building your own switch
Jordan Stamp Yeah, I actually got mine during that back in June.
Just buy it digital lol
Weird, I just brought this game and I'm playing it right now

@@MobileDecay damn, you caught me redhanded
nintendo is so sweet... they remind us to keep in shape during quarantine
Thanks to quarantine, it gives me tons of time to play Ring Fit Adventure! 💪😎
If anyone is considering it, this is actually a really good game. It's actually difficult, yet fun.
Thanks nintendo!! i have been a heavy smoker for over 10 years, after a couple months with this game and im feeling like new again!
Other games companies: New releases, new consoles, game showcases
Nintendo: You guys remember Ring Fit?
Nintendo: Why bother rushing game releases when we have good library of games just sitting there
Also Nintendo: Still no updates/DLC on Super Mario Party and MK8 Dx
@@that0nedude194 also Nintendo: *Posting trailers for millions of games*
Great option for people that are too shy to work out in public spaces. 😍
so hyped for the next big nintendo game, *ring fit adventure*
Uhm. Why thes game is out :P
/: ok then
I've been playing for more than one month straight and it has been more than worth it.
This game is a must have. My wife, our daughter and I always motivate each other when playing this game. Definitely worth the money.
Dammit for a second I though this was a trailer for new content.....
TimDoesStuff yeah me too :(
I got this game for my birthday about month ago, and let me say, it's the most fun I've had while exercising in a while! Haven't finished the game yet, but once I've obtained everything in the adventure mode, I'll definitely be restarting it!
How did it go?
If I wasn't still working during quarantine I'd br playing this a lot more. Honestly is a lot of fun. Great for cardio and to work out casually
When you remember that ring fit adventure is more of a RPG than paper Mario 😂
I know! It is pretty insane.
Nintendo switch is magic 👍
This looks so good and looks like a perfect example of using video games for exercise.
the ironic thing is i ordered it 2 days ago, so this is actually helpful, Thanks nintendo for predicting my future i guess
ok then /:
just remember, the difficulty can be the difference of 5 squats or 30 squats per attack set LOL
My brother owns this but I don't live with him, I only play this game when my brother visited us so I could enjoy exercising in this game too but sadly I can't do it daily since I don't own it and I want to own one
alot of people say workouts are boring but when workouts are in video games its much better
I guess we can look forward to Ring Fit Trainee in the next Smash game given how well RFA is selling. And I for one can’t wait.
I really enjoy this game, I really need to get back to playing it. Drago is probably my favorite original Nintendo villain in the last decade or two.
Oml I just got this yesterday day 1 of exercise and I was dying with just the first 2 levels. I hadn’t worked out in 2-3 months due to a new hectic job that keeps me on my feet all day! With this I’ll be able to get a quick workout in before I go to work
Got this for Christmas and best thing to help with my fitness instead of going through other fitness videos this really helps me to keep my mind off everything around me and just focus on myself and to reach my goal
Ummm... a little late Nintendo...
U like yokai watch to i love that game. Still waiting for yokai watch for switch

I have this game, and I remember my dad running into the TV, my sisters throwing the ring like a boomerang, and me trying to cheat it by shaking the controller (the one meant to go on your leg). Good game though.
Please make more games like this in the future
Glad you finally got these back in production

My thoughts exactly, big man
I dont know man. Nintendo fcked it up again

Im not surprised they posted this video. I keep seeing the add with the girl everywhere now
I have rejected the cardio ways and joined the Dragon of Gains in his quest. Checkmate Nintendo.
Got my hands on this after waiting months! Back in stock made it possible to say screw you eBay scalpers!
I've gotta say the battle aspect of it, really reminds me of Pokémon.
Can’t wait to see the speed runners for this game
Yeah either they are speed runners or people who are so lazy they try to exploit a fitness game, but then they end up just doing more fitness
Oh people are already speed running it. Look it up, is hilarious.
I didn't believe that I considering buy this. Going to gym every month is expensive and boring, this looks a good way to do exercises.
Just bought it I love it
I've had it since the last restock. My Wii Fit U war flashbacks of sore muscles are keeping me from playing it though. It's like Nintendo is mocking me...
Already ordered it a little over a week ago. On day 9 now. Level 26. I will keep playing every day until I am no longer fat. No matter how tired I am from work... At the same time every day. I will let you know how it goes.
It's been 3 months, how are things going?

I... I stopped playing after day 16...
I will get back on it soon though. I got to the 4 masters at least though! I am going to have to start over again, however. I am too unfit again and I forgot most of the story. I tried playing it 3 weeks ago and got winded after 3 minutes... Which is a real shame cause after 16 days I was playing for 25 minutes without getting winded.
Saw this at Best Buh today - plenty in stock. The gods had spoken and so it was finally time!
