This feels like an ad straight from the Wii era and that makes me so happy.
It was 2011.
I was 4 years old.
Playing Wii Sports Bowling with my family.
That was the first video game I’ve ever played, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Fast forward to 2022.
I’m 15 now.
And now, this game has released.
The nostalgic memories are coming back and better than ever.
And of course I will be playing bowling with some family members.
Thank You Nintendo for this game.

The one thing that I appreciated most is that with every introduction to each of the sports in this game, you said Wii. It is nice that despite the long time it has been discontinued, you still give credit where it is due for this new game in Nintendo's sports series.

To be honest, I was disappointed that the Switch version removed alot of the original, but seeing that they still gave that credit makes up for a bit of the trouble.

This looks amazing! I remember when I first got the Wii, Wii Sports was the first game I have ever played on it and it was very fun and it’s great to see the series alive with this new masterpiece! I’m looking forward to getting this! Thank you Nintendo, for the nostalgia!
Can’t wait to see what else this game has in store further down the line. They have a very solid base, and it has a lot of potential to expand upon.

in chambara, when you are selecting your cpu level, hold L, R, ZL and ZR at the same time until the match starts and you fight matt.

@@tgreg9542 I had a lot of fun playing multiplayer with my sister and online, and I love soccer/football and volleyball. I don't think badminton is worth playing, I played only 2 games just to see if I like it. Playing offline without anyone is kinda boring, except if you want to practice or play special modes. And I'm now even used to Sportmates! In conclusion, it's a great game to play with others (that was Nintendo's goal from the beginning, that's why the option to play globally is first in the menu and the one to play locally is second) and there are a lot of things to do, you should definitely buy it if you liked Wii Sports and Sports Resort. It is also 100000 times better than its predecessor, Wii Sports Club. And the fact that we are getting golf in a few months is a hint that more sports and DLC will be released later, which I'm super excited about.

Wii Sports was the first game I ever played and I'm happy to say that (for now) Switch Sports is really good. Was not expecting to like volleyball as much as I have.
Just watched the trailer for it on my switch with my daughter! Way to go Nintendo!! More games like this bringing families and communities together 😁
I’m 28 now, I still remember when the first Wii sports came out. That was half my life ago and it blew my mind that you could play a game remotely. Thanks Nintendo for bringing back all those high school memories for us

Although this game looks decently fun to play, this trailer doesn’t bring hype around the game like Miitopia switch did. It feels like it’s distancing itself from the mii’s in presentation, and it feels like it could’ve had more sports in the base game. But that’s just me.
Why would they have the Miis upfront in presentation? Miitopia is called Miitopia, Nintendo Switch Sports is… Nintendo Switch Sports! They’re not really a thing the general public will care for, unless you’re a hardcore Nintendo Fan- Nintendo is also still in the mindset of “live service” type DLC which kinda sucks, hopefully we do get more sports past Golf. If the game does really well I think they will continue to add more 😅
@@yotsuba6352 I mean the whole thing that tied all the previous nintendo sports games together were the miis and unlimited customization, as well as the secrets and smaller games.
Now that there arent any of those things, this game legitimately has less content than the original wii sports.
In my opinion it just proves that we need a new nintendo console ASAP, this hardware is horrible and it's holding back every game.
@@yungjiggamayne2262 I do think that we need a bit more content to be entertained in the long run for a game like this, but how does hardware play into this? There were 5 sports in Wii Sports 1, and in Switch Sports we have 6 currently + Golf on the way! The newer hardware of the Switch and with new ways to deliver new content means that they’ll be able to continue to update the game as long as it’s successful; there could even be more that is planned that we don’t know of yet ☺️ Also, there’s unlockables that’ll cycle week to week which are incentive to play! It’s pretty great

Game is a blast, already cleaned up 4/6 sports of the online matches and won em every single time... I haven't played Wii Sports type games since the Wii era... and it's all muscle memory... it's back!!!

Just from watching this trailer alone, I got so emotional because I was thinking back on the good old days of 8 year old me playing Wii Sports And Wii Sports Resort back in 2008. These are nostalgic tears😢
You aren't the only one who feels nostalgic. I know exactly how you feel; every now and then I go back to either Wii Sports or Wii Sports Resort on my channel, and they're just as fun as they were when they came out in their respective years. Once I get my Switch hooked to my TV, I can't wait to have fun with Switch Sports as well.

Me and my family played wii sports every day Wednesday when we first got our wii in Christmas 2007, so happy that I’ll be able to relive and recreate those memories with this new game
I love the game, i remember when i was like 6 and was playing with my family on our wii, and thats why i bought the pre-order, ny arms might hurt but i dont care cuz im having so much fun bcuz of the memories. i totally recomend it :D
I love seeing miis making a nice well deserve comeback. Even if its just one game for now. I love their updated looks as well gives them a modern day look which I do like. Well done Nintendo on bringing miis back slowly. Hope to see more future games use them like this from here on out. Can't wait to pick this up when I'm on my summer break.
These are moreso their own thing, classic Miis are the ones that have more 2D detail on the faces

My boyfriend woke me up at 8AM to play Switch Sports with him, and we were getting so hype over tennis that we totally forgot that I have roommates. This was the same excitement that I felt when I was 6 years old. I’m so happy to have this joy again.

Its is AWESOME to see wii sports return That was a legendary game and still is.
It may not be perfect as it was in 2006, but at least they know what we want: A true follow up to a breakout launch title that defined a generation.

I remember that when I was 11 years old I got a Nintendo Wii. I still have it today but it doesn't work anymore and when I downloaded this game on the Nintendo Switch I felt nostalgic.

This game is a blast from the past.
The way they go above and beyond to make nes, snes, n64 controllers, I wish they would do the same for wii mote and motion sensor bar. Then they could re-release all wii ware on store and it says warning wii more required. They can even sell adapters that let people use their original controllers or sensor bars. The way they did for GameCube controller for smash.

I just played for an hour and I must say that this game has potential to be an instant classic as party game. If nintendo keep things fresh and update the game with new sports, new modes, clothing etc. It will be awesome 🔥 By the way football/soccer is soo sick and if they make a couple of tweaks it will be an instant classic ( reaching out to the ball takes so long) Overall this game is pure fun ❤
