The first game had potential but the motion control was horrible for the weaves and dodges. I hope it gets better this time.
yeah I hated that I had to move my arms with the dodge to register it... you could also cheese a lot of the punches.... just jab instead of hook. Still really liked it, though
It won't be better, you can already see in the trailer a lot of dodges being missed

I feel that this game would've been better tuned for the kinect or for vr. But alas, not enough people play those.

Wow, that's dedication ^^ I loved it at first, but those back and forth sliding steps killed it for me, they were rarely recognized. Hope that the motion recognition improves in the new one!
franzi123456 I have trouble getting the sliding to register and found I have to punch at the same time to make it work. In this new one it’s says you can turn off certain moves and that’s certainly going off!

i've had my eyes on this for a couple of months. finally gifted myself one this christmas, and I'm happy I did!
logged 5 days straight and I love the progress i'm making.
I probably was one of the only few that enjoy this game! Wife and I play this all the time. Def getting this one. First one lacked some features and looks like they addressed most of them in this one.

What is wrong with Karen?
I lost around 20 pounds in 3 months playing the first one with a lil bit of dieting. It was my only form of exercise everyday for 30 mins during the first phase of quarantine. I think consistency helps. I fell off for a bit I’m back on and I’m sore. I just hate the weaves and the steps they don’t really register well maybe this 2nd one fixes that.

More songs, which really should just be available as dlc. I also hope they fixed the motion controls.
100% agree. Releasing this as a sequel as opposed to adding songs and patching issues (player reporting issues with the motion should've been a thing) shows that this is a quick cash in opportunity to them.

The first one is pretty fun so this seems like a solid upgrade.
Please, please, PLEASE do DLC music. My partner and I LOVE the first game, but the music gets so old after your 30th workout. I promise, if you make DLC music available, people WILL buy it!

I'm pretty excited for this game since I workout using fitness boxing every day, even twice a day. I never thought another one would come out. I'm very happy.
New instructor Karen is going to call my manager if I don't exercise well enough
Honestly it looks like 50 USD for a pack of instructors and a UI reskinning.
The title screen is the same one but with the sillouette flipped horizontally. This kind of tricks make me feel they just want a cheap buck. Ok maybe it comes with new songs and royalties for the melodies make most of the budget. If it's 50usd for a midi version of Baby by Justin Beaver I'd rather listen to royalty free music.
The most important thing is knowing if they fixed the detection of the moves. This is the core of the experience and as many mentioned on the comments it doesn't work well. It seems they only measure the accelerometer so if you just shake your fists every move is valid but if you do a weaving or step it's very often not counted.
Even with that corrected it'd feel we paid for a beta and then have to pay again for the 1.0
Overall it is a good game but lacks a lot polish. They have no competition though so I guess it means no pressure.
I thought the same. I could have settled for a DLC though
So looking forward to covering this and seeing how good it can be as a workout!
Just, please fix or improve the body movements. They only register like half the time.

Turning off Boxing moves is a WELCOMED feature. The footwork moves in the first simply did not register in game.
This immediately became a serious purchase for me now.
I saw the word rhythm and I got excited for a second. Then I realized it wasn't rhythm heaven but it was some boxing game.
Man Figure Fighter on switch looks great can't wait to see the rest of rhythm heaven switch!

Haha I love part 1. Not sure if if I even need part two since I use my own beatem up & fighting music. I’m glad they still made this though, people are sleeping on this almighty workout.
It’s a great game for fitness goals... really helpful in these quarentine times.... but let be honest... the version 2 should be a DLC... not a new game... I cant see any real upgrade on it that’s justify a new title

That's what I thought! This could have been dlc because it adds almost nothing to fitness boxing 1. I think they decided on a sequel instead of a dlc pack because they'd get more money off it.

Don't be mad, this game won't provide any real upgrades to it, besides the two player mode which I doubt most people will use. Just enjoy the first one, it's great. Wait for a sale and upgrade if you really feel the need.
That's usually how these things work.
A feature from the first game that they didn't showcase in this is not only can you customize your trainer's shirt, shorts but you can customize their ethnicity.

I hope that until release the devs decide not only to disable moves, but to disable the rating of a move. For example: It would be nice to make steps, but not to make them a false way, because the switch does not recognize them if made correct => disabling the recognition would be a better way (in fB1 the not counted steps in yellow would be the solution here)
