Straaaannngeee....which things makes you HAPPY....but - everybody got his own sight! "Are you happy?? NOT REALLY!" I love this album, because it fit's complete, lyrics and music are SO CLOSE to describe the feelings.
@@curtis6310 All of matter of perspective, high energy music makes me happy and gives me more stamina while skateboarding, bike riding, playing hockey, etc, anything that provides me fuel makes me happy. Try listening to Bob Marley or other mellow music when doing anything physically demanding, for me that will sap my energy which does not make me happy.
Never heard this! I only had the American "further" This KICKS ass!! Just read Charlie Clouser did versions of this and Ruiner and i had to check em out! Gonna finally make an Alternate playlist of TDS in sequence using all the groovy remixes
I used to feel the same way because I never really cared for the original track Ruiner, mainly because of the guitar solo being goofy but especially just by itself. This rare version of both Ruiner and Heresy are remixed in the same style and by the same producer and are only available on the IMPORT version of Further Down the Spiral. I feel both of these versions are a vast improvement in making both of the tracks flow more smoothly into something just as passionately expressive but somehow less stagnant. In other words you can groove to them and actually dance to these "Versions". However the other two original tracks are vital and irreplaceable to a lost art known as the concept album. The Downward Spiral is most definitely a concept album which every song is a step that is necessary to complete the entire staircase. I can't imagine the entire album without the third and sixth steps. You would fall even further down the spiral staircase much like Eddie Murphy in Delirious when he describes his aunt taking forever to violently tumble.
+Jeremiah Saint I've been listening to and seeing this band since 1990, and own Further down the spiral. Why have I never heard this exact version until now? It's not on my original FDTS!
Even at 60 years old I still love NIN,such happy music.

if it were any happier, it'd come with a hit of Zoloft.
"happy" is a strange descriptor for Trent Reznor's work

I had this on CD back in the day, haven't listened to it for a good twenty years or so. It both sounds very 1995 and has aged well IMO.
Love the rhythm in this version. For the longest time I thought this was the original version. How wrong I was.
Sounds like what would play when the main character fights the final boss (God himself) in a NIN videogame
Favorite version of this song.
beautiful
One of the few times that Trent sampled dialogue. This version seriously blows the original and the blind mix out of the water
Charlie Clouser did the remix.
LOL not even close. This is the worst of the three by a mile.
Never heard this!

Better than original.
Not for me though, but this is good.

@@Abruzzo333 LOL Absolutely this is the best version of this track, blind being the worse
Easily.
I fucking love this version
Anger stress relief song
is this off the japanese version? cause i have the us edition of further down the spiral and this is definately not included.... XD
It's off of the UK version. Look for Halo Ten V2
i love it!
Will Anderson Strange, I bought mine in the UK and I don't have this on it. The shop must have imported it themselves.
+redplague do you have reptilian (last song)?, if yes it's the japanese version you have
Yeah I never heard it either for the same reason. I thought I've heard every NIN song, including the more rare ones, but somehow missed this one lol

You thought the guitar solo was goofy? To each his own, personally I love it. Ruiner is one of my favorite tracks off of TDS.
Guitar solo is the only reason I listen to ruiner tbh
Do you believe in miracles? ...no, not really.
nin nch nal
Whoa , where is this version/remix from ??!

whipchick90
I believe it may be on one of the either Europe or Japanese version? I have all the halos minus the recent (didn't like it) in storage.
+GirlsLie7 It's on the UK edition
It's on the UK version of the CD. I grew up with this master piece
Never liked this remix. Severely waters down the intensity of the original. Heresy (blind) is a far superior remix.
Just soo not my problem.....does that make me sound like that sort of person.....? err, hello, yes!
