If no-one is allowed to carry a firearm in public, no-one would also need to carry a firearm to defend themself in the rare event that someone tries to kill them. Look it works in EVERY country in the western world other than the US. Obviously the USA has a problem.
The gun grabber (as always) refused to give any credit to citizens being able to defend themselves from any bad guys with any weapons. The second amendment helps us to protect ourselves against the threat.
If the argument for removing guns is that other means of killing people can not kill as many people as quickly as a firearm, then that is the very reason why citizens should be free to own and carry weapons, because no lone gunman, or even groups of gunmen, have ever come anywhere close to killing the kind of numbers killed by governments after they have disarmed their citizens. His defense of disarming the law-abiding only sounds good and reasonable as long as one does not think about it much, or apply it equally to all situations.
