@@lucaslennan3356 They were up there for sure. There was also a TeleDAD variant that used Zombies but it wasn't as strong as the one everyone that played at that time was familiar with. Card of Safe Return was also stupidly broken with stuff like Mezuki and Zombie Master. Not to mention, it facilitated a lot of FTKs that looped stuff from the GY with Mass Driver since hard once per turns didn't really exist back then. Halq should really be banned. Not the numerous Tuners on the ban list so Halq can stay in the game.
If Yugi would’ve taken his Jowgen the spiritualist he probably could’ve saved himself some trouble against later filler villains. Also, no mention of Dark Necrofear? The thing wasn’t amazing by any means but it had some decent capabilities, and I wish there were some more viable dark rank 8s that could work with that thing
Holy crap you're right! That would have shut down Ra every time since Marik never once normal summoned it. Of course if he DID get it out that would just make it Marik's prime target. At best he would block Ra's summon once, but it wouldn't stay for long since that would destroy the drama of Yugi finding a way to overcome Ra.
it is my opinion as a dedicated stun player that jowgen is the best stun monster, ahead of fossil dyna and boarder, because of its board wipe ability. i have no joke wiped an entire dragon link board with this effect, then slapped a moon mirror shield on it for game.
Necrofear was okay at least. I feel like he should've at least mentioned it. I always felt Ha Des was way too specific. Can't be summoned from grave, only negates effects after a monster is destroyed etc. It wasn't terrible, but was Ha Des ever really good? Not sure tbh. Destiny Board is awful, and always have been. MST go brrrrrrrr
He mentioned Destiny Board at the beginning. You need to wait 5 turns for it to fill up your entire backrow. That‘s not good at all. It also heavily relies on the opponent not having spell/trap-removal. Necrofear is an alright card, but I don‘t know if its effect is any good.
Joey Wheeler, he actually played Raigeki, even though he was possessed. There's also Jinzo, scapegoat, giant trunade, feather duster, premature burial, foolish burial, and gearfried (which I've heard was used in some loop involving Elma Dagger and Royal Magical Library).
When did he play feather duster? Unless he copied the card against Mai when he dueled her during her possessed phase. The loop is Butterfly Dagger Elma is an equip that goes back to the hand without cost when destroyed while equipped to a monster. Gearfried automatically destroys any card equipped to it, and Royal Magical Library gets a counter for every spell activated, and draws you a card for every 3 removed. So with all 3 cards, and your opponent without a way to stop it, you could draw your whole deck in one turn. Great for Exodia decks, or to just get whatever combo pieces you need to win some other way.
@@kyuubinaruto17 Joey used Harpie's Feather Duster (plus Cyber Harpie) during the "virtual world arc", when he dueled alongside Yugi, against the Big 5, who were controlling Tristan's "body".
@@bmcoyne88 Unsurprisingly that's the arc I remember the least. All I really remember is the memetic line of "TELL ME!" "Oh, you'll find out. I'm about to summon it."
And because of gearfried Elma became unsommonable which made the guardian archetype even more unplayable. The worst part was apart from guardian Eatos and Dreadscythe, Elma was the only good Guardian monster in the archetype.
to be fair, yami bakura only got as far as he did with destiny board because the only person who thought to run backrow removal in the anime was mai. everyone else's plan was just "fuck around and find out"
Not quite. Pegasus had Magical Neutralizing Force, which destroyed any face up spells. Joey had Giant Trunade. Anime-only Atem had Dust Tornado. But, yeah, I think that's about it for pre-emptive destruction, though quite a few characters had negation cards like trap jammer/despell.
Tbf Bakura only lost to Yugi in their first dual because of normal bakuras interference. Also he would've won against Marik if normal Marik didn't gave him false information on how to get rid of Ra either. Ra was pretty deep in Mariks deck and Bakura literally helped him draw it multiple times despite him already having been able to win.
I'm rather surprised you neglected to mention the one key main fact about Ryo Bakura... (besides "who in Britain would be called "Ryo Bakura"?") He did NOT actually play Duel Monsters! He played Table-Top RPGs, the same as author Kazuki Takahashi! And real-life Brit Nabil, the owner of Travelling Man, a shop that primarily does Table-Top games and supplies, but also Manga, Comic Books, Trading Card Games, Gunpla and other Model Kits! They did do Animé at one point, but that was years ago! And, no, I'm not mistaking them for Forbidden Planet, that's a different shop and here in Leeds, where Nabil first opened a shop (and my dad used to do his books), we actually have BOTH shops! They're where I get all my Manga and Yu-Gi-Oh! from (I have no interest in Comic Books)! I've also gotten a Gundam Model Kit from them both too!
My question is why haven't konami unbanned change of heart? Yes I get that talking a monster from an opponent is a strong effect but it's a targetting effect which most boss monsters are immune to. And even if they are not immune, they have negates on board to stop the effect. It can be at 1 copy per deck like harpies' feather duster and just a card that forces your enemy to negate it so you can proceed with your normal plays. Am I making a good point?
Taking opponent monsters is strong effect in general ,it doesn't have to be a big boss monster that immune against everything, , you can just steal a monster and use it for anything specially links now , there is a csrd called mind control which is a worse version than change of heart and it's currently limited .
@@yoshikun6068 Isn't the meta game all about negates now? Normally people would negate this effect. Isn't the meta build with monsters that negate effect like dragoon, savage dragon & trigate wizard or traps that negate spell cards like solemn of judgement. Aren't they meta? Or is spell/trap negation less prevalent in the meta compared to monster effect negation?
@@chadwarden6299 it won't work on Dragoon because it's a targetting effect and the card is immune to all targetting effects. I'm talking about change of heart in this not triple tact.

3:58 - Holy shit I used that card a lot in my decks :D Glad to see I was on the right track with identifying it as a good burn card
...It just clicked that my preferred style in TCGs are burn decks
My man's gave into the RSL army 😭
Love bakuras battle city deck one of my fav from the original series
Shadow Realm Raiders
The raid shadow legends commercial in the beginning was longer than the actual video.
I burst out into laughter when he said the video is sponsored by raid shadow legends
Goblin Zombie will one day be problematic.
@Matias z But Zombies suck right now. I mean problematic as in it will be on the banlist at some point. In the same way Benten and is a non-OPT search finally being broken by a deck that can use it there will one day be a combo deck that resolves Goblin Zombie twelve times. I don't know when but it will eventually happen.
@@lucaslennan3356 It has been on the ban list before. It was lolSemi-Limited at one point. But yeah. An effect very similar to pre-errata Sangan/Witch of the Black Forest (albeit type limited) does seem like a recipe for disaster.
@@ShiningJudgment666 Damn were Zombies meta in 09 or something? They hit card of safe return, mezuki, plaguespreader AND goblin zombie on the same list. Synchro era was wild. Crazy that plague might actually get hit again because of Halq in modern day (unlikey but eh who knows with konami).
I saw the new Watchmojo Yugioh vid pop up and instantly hoped Doug will feature it on the channel lol
My fav villain was marik but bakura really became a real agressive villain in season 5
Yami Bakura was the most skilled duelist on the show. Just wished he had more duels. He was too busy chasing millenium items lol.
it is my opinion as a dedicated stun player that jowgen is the best stun monster, ahead of fossil dyna and boarder, because of its board wipe ability. i have no joke wiped an entire dragon link board with this effect, then slapped a moon mirror shield on it for game.
Hey Dzeeff, what about "Dark Necrofear", "Destiny Board", and "Dark Ruler Ha-Des"?🤔
@@Sad-Lesbian Even with the legacy support Destiny Board received a little while ago?🤔
@@r4nd0mguy99 what about the legacy support Destiny Board received a little while ago, does it still make Destiny Board terrible?🤔
@@javierfavela2255 yes,its still terrible
@@kyuubinaruto17 it's an OK arc that leads into the worst arc in the series. Don't even get me started on "Noah" ugh. cringe...
And because of gearfried Elma became unsommonable which made the guardian archetype even more unplayable. The worst part was apart from guardian Eatos and Dreadscythe, Elma was the only good Guardian monster in the archetype.
I kind of expected change of hearts on this list.
Hey Dzeef, considered making a video on Cxyz cards? They're all bad so I though they'd be fun to laugh at.
Probably should have commented this on a why nobody remembers video lol
What are some of the most exciting deck matchups?
How about both Rex Raptor and Weevil underwood and tsunami
What about Diabound?
That card was bs op
goblin zombie in skull servants... with the new support it works
Doomcalibur knight is my favorite card, burn off your opponent effect vieler
Wait a second, why does goblin zombie always trigger even with a "when" effect?
It's not optional
It doesn't say "you may" it just says draw
How broken were Yuya Sakaki's cards?
How much are you playing raid shadow legeneds now ????
Bakura: The Power of The Millennium Ring will compell Dzeeff to talk about the all-powerful Raid Shadow Legends!
Hahaha!
How broken were Jack’s Yugioh cards?
only good card in jack's deck are red nova dragon, battle vader,& fiendish chain
@@ryandika7443 There’s more than three cards that were good in Jack’s deck
which one?
@@ryandika7443 Watapon

Ryou Bakura was my bisexual awakening lmao, I simp him so hard
Dark sanctuary was pretty good, maybe not top tier but definitely clutch
Yo thanks for actually making this video
I’ve been waiting for this😈
2021 and Dzeeff still pronounces Sangan weird.
to be fair, yami bakura only got as far as he did with destiny board because the only person who thought to run backrow removal in the anime was mai. everyone else's plan was just "fuck around and find out"
Not a RAID SHADOW LEGENDS channel btw.
You should do kallin kessler from 5ds. Do an episode on infernity and it’s stamp on yugioh history
I'm surprised Infernities weren't used in arc-v. Doing parkour seems easier if your hands are empty
Next one has to be Craw and if you don’t want an hour long video you have the king, the master of faster Jack Atles
How broken were the Furries in Raid Shadow Legends?
Yeah Im a bit confused? There’s a lack of discussion on the character? You just went over a few of the cards?
Oh yeah its confusing that they card breakdown talks about the person's cards.
2:20 To skip the super greasy ad
@@yoshikun6068 Triple tact is weaker change of heart and it's still insane when you steal a dragoon or something.
@@chadwarden6299
That's true, stealing monsters is a very strong effect, even bad archetypes that have a monster that can steal a monster it would have restrictions
Be fair with a errata change last turn can be off the band List
Add to the effect this summon can’t be negated or negate the effects of monsters targeted by this cards effect there maybe even a better wording
I love your videos bro glad to see you sponsored and earning some extra cash 😊
