Hello friend! So here is my story. I graduated from collage 13 years ago. Didn’t do so hot in my classes. Passed with low grades. Now is 2024 I want to go into nursing. I applied for cuny and as I’m making my schedule I realize they have a crazy retake class policy so I can’t ever go into their nursing program. I’m looking at SUNY WCC it looks more like something I can do. They don’t accept credits older than 10’ years ( meaning I can retake) and they heavily rely on the TEAS score. Is this information correct? Also how do I withdraw from cuny and apply to suny? And am I too late for Fall 2024 ? Loaded sorry 😅

Hi! I have nothing but great news for you: Those sections won't appear because you're a transfer student, so you don't have to do them. Purchase, Delhi, ESF, FIT & SUNY Polytechnic are the only SUNY colleges I know of that require a supplemental essay for transfer students. You will be evaluated based on your community college transcript. Also your application fee should be waived. So no worries😀 Good luck!!

So I wanna know about the application of this SUNY application like when should I apply? I want all the dates for all the semesters intake admission so that I can start preparing for it according to my convenience. And can I also get financial aid or scholarship or something like that, anything?
Hi! The priority application deadline for the Fall is Jan 1st (supplements due by Feb 1st). The priority application deadline for the Spring is October 1st (all supplements due by November 1st). Half of those sections did not appear in my application - I had no essay, extracurriculars, honors/awards, and senior courses. I already submitted it because I thought it would show me those sections after and now they are completely blank. What do I do?

Hi Michael, Have you checked to make sure you meet the eligibility requirements (financial eligibility- check the chart & enter your family income, resident of New York State or citizen of the US, check the box that you qualify for a financial fee waiver or meet the other requirements like being in foster care, military affiliated)?
Are the senior courses what you will be doing in college? I am applying as an international student and I am not sure which senior courses am I supposed to choose.
Great news: Nope! SUNY doesn't require SAT scores anymore. But just know SAT scores might still be required for certain specific programs, merit scholarships, and student-athletes at some SUNY campuses.

Yes, unless you've also applied for loans. Then you can put the amount you'll be loaned.
