To whoever asked, I looked into "Stage: Peculia" and I wasn't sure what they were talking about. Effects aren't leitmotifs though, as explained here. I do hope it's clear enough.
The use of leitmotifs has always fascinated me since I learned about them during a period of obsession for Undertale. Also, one of the main reasons the three SV themes you chose make use of the same leitmotifs is because well, they were all composed by Toby Fox himself; who is known for his clever use of leitmotifs in his music
I KNEW THOSE WERE TOBY!! the ungodly amount of emotion I felt realising that all of those themes SHOULD be connected and how expertly they are makes me just cry
All of these Leitmotif videos really show how music is actually extremely powerful, and that it really can affect people. Very nice work identifying all these leitmotifs! Must be hard work to do.
I think that no one’s ever thought of an explanation for why exactly the great sage became the sun. I’ll be the first to do so: they came *from* the sun. Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
This ISN'T a lietmotif, but it sounds very similar: in Miitopia's hair salon theme, the melody sounds kind of like Anarchy Poisons Boar Mix from Splatoon 3. This could be because it was made by the same composer and they decided to reuse melodies. A lot of composers do that actually.
this is bizarre. i just got into yume nikki in the past few days, and i had somehow never actually heard the eyeball world sample in the door theme until this very day. either ive ended the cutscene somehow every time before it comes up or i just play with the audio off a lot, because if i had heard it before, i think id remember a part of the theme that cuts in so abruptly.
0:38 that said… I have grown onto all four of my sages, including my brother’s (who is a sixth grader!😳) Mainly because they relate to each other in weird ways. Like, two of them are siblings, the older sibling likes the second one I made, and the first one is surprisingly simple yet contagious in the attachment way you mentioned. (Lol)
Also, I really don’t mind spoilers, they’re just cute little reminders that I’ve seen or heard the thing before and it’s all fine. (Makes me question why they’re callled spoilers…🤔)

I didn't know your miitopia series intro was the 3ds miitopia intro (mainly bc i played the switch version)
I found out that Danger Level 5 (Among Us Hide n Seek) is similar to Boss Battle 3 (Miitopia)
12:48 has a pinch of the rocket hideout from gen 1.

I’ve noticed that certain parts of “Boss: The Darkest Lord” sound kind if similar to Big Arms from Sonic 3

No wonder the somg Delivery gave me nostalgia for no reason! It's a remix of the Swapnote theme!

I love Miitopia

I THINK I LEARNED SOMEWHERE THAT THE COMPOSER OF SPLATOON MUSIC ALSO MADE GENE'S THEME

The Great Sage is everywhere... gah!
If there was such a thing as screaming avenge
This is a really nice and in-depth video! Thank you so much for making this!
At 14:44 the music playing kinda sounds like Sarya's song when you listen to a certain part of the song🤔🤔🤔
the game over music in tomodachi quest, also sounds like undertale’s game over music
I had a theory that your mii’s love interest was the great sage.
This is very interesting
Congrats on being first 🎉🎉

All of this is pretty cool for mii :)
