I played this grandiose tune on my grandfather funeral because he was incredible Gladiator all his life, he was person that managed to fight leukemia for 2 years at the age of 77 . May his soul rest in peace ✌️

My daughter chose this song to be quietly playing while I walked her down the aisle. The several minutes we shared at the back of the church, arm in arm in a little side room before this milestone in her life was just priceless. A precious memory I'll take to my grave.

I used this song to honor my father in his funeral in 2019 ❤️ He was and still is the most real man I’ve ever met in my life. He was a true Gladiator in his life. «Now we are free» was played while we carried him out of the church. Every time I listen to the song, I can feel a teardrop in my eye ❤️🫶🏻💫
My husband was my beloved, my champion, my Gladiator. I miss him so much. He left me 5-08-24. When we saw the movie years ago, I looked at him during the movie and I saw a man who had the same integrity as the character in the movie. So glad we had examples of the same type of man.

My father passed away last year. He was 93. I wanted this song for his funeral, but it was contrary to our church customs to play music at the funeral. He loved music so much, especially string instruments, and the cello. When we left the church, I asked the driver to turn the radio on for him on the way to the cemetary, it was all I could do in that moment.
I feel your pain, it’s been a year since God took mine home. My Dad was a man that I strive to be still and from from. Thank you for sharing this it’s priceless.
Every time I hear this song it moves me to a place that I feel at peace for a few moments in this world of uncertainty and continued wars...

It is extraordinary that Ridley Scott has never won an Oscar when you look at the films he has produced. Blade Runner, Alien or Thelma & Louise would have been enough for an award but Gladiator I always thought had 'Oscar' written all over it with it's full panoply of acting, story , artistry and great music!

They touch nerves and feelings most of us forget we even have. Humans have done A LOT OF WRONG IN THE PAST FEW DECADE, BUT our ability to create unbelievably beautiful art that moves even the toughest soul, will forever be one of our greatest and defining achievements as a race. It doesn't matter where you come from, how much money you have or don't have, whats your situation...songs like this make me almost proud to be human some days!

I have been listening to this performance for years and still remains to be my favorite one. It is truly magnificent.
The sound of her voice is very soothing , the orchestra was wonderful, the three ladies on back up were also good.. the whole ensemble just wonderful..i listen everyday at my work..quite enchanting
I like that she is wearing something understated and letting the music and her voice get the attention. More artists should do that.
Japanese artist do this. They dress generally in normal day attire and go crush every show they do. Their music videos are no where near the pervasive manner of American videos, and yet amazing.
This moves me so much. It makes me think of all my ancient forefathers and mothers who I have never met. Wish I could sit down with all of them and ask them about their lives. When I try to imagine them I miss them.
First strokes and I start to cry.......don't know what it is with this Gladiator Theme / Hans Zimmer music that makes my emotions run wild......OK I've seen the movie 10 times, it always strikes new things in me every time. BTW beautiful version this from Vaiva :-)
