Yooo we back imo the best version of DM! Been sticking with Branded to and still is strong but the Fire meta has me not playing DM that much.

Interesting matches there. The Snake-Eyes player opening 2 Dark Ruler No More cards and still being able to go full combo is whack. It’s a reason why I’m not a fan of this format.
Just a note about your Shaddoll Schism and Ghost Belle interaction there: If you activate Shaddoll Schism with the effect to Fusion Summon and Ghost Belle is activated in response, it should’ve gone to the GY since the activation of Shaddoll Schism was negated (Continuous Spells/Traps & Field Spells cannot stay on the field if their activation was negated). Other than that, good plays Matchie!

@@MatchieYGO No worries at all Matchie. Negating activations can be wonky sometimes lol. If Shaddoll Schism is already face-up on the field and you use its effect, Ghost Belle won’t cause the trap to go to the GY since it would only be able to negate the activation of the effect, not the card itself.
A good way to dodge the trap from being removed from the field is to activate it without effect and then use its effect in a brand new chain link. That way, your Schism will be safe for the next turn
In game one round 2 couldnt you have instead popped SP with dragoon effect? destroying it then doing damage equal to its attack?

Did you not use rod after imperming the snake eyes ash?
I Wanted to keep a body on field, normally I would’ve, but If I was playing into talents, I thought having an extra body on board would save me from getting killed. Unfortunately thst wasn’t the case.
But yes. Normally rod would be activated for follow up

Game 2 of the first round you played in was very impressive; if somehow you figure out how to reduce the brickiness more then you'll be cooking with some serious gas. Ggs man this was extremely encouraging to watch

Matchie play Prosperity! Going first dig for secrets village, branded fusion or Nadir Servant.
Because we are thinking about cutting DMG, the draw of souls doesn’t make much sense anymore, so prosp could be an option. Only issue with prosp is that the ED is very tight
First match game 1 you definitely negate original. Remember they still have to send a card for cost and it means even if they do have an extender they lose access to original.
I think this is the correct play 100% the more I think about it

Have you considered siding in a single copy of Dark Magical Circle when you know you're going second? Having an in-engine banish that can threaten a lot of problem cards like Summon Limit, or even something like Fire King Island, seems like it might be useful.
I have considered it and it could be good. Just a question of “is there more value in something else” : like, is the one banish worth more than a lightning storm for example.
Some questions we need to ask. But I like that idea
@@MatchieYGO Makes sense...it's about the bump in consistency vs the high value of a board-breaker.
I'm a DM player as well...had been playing around with Circle to deal with Fire King Island specifically. I think the consistency of being able to find Circle when you need it offsets the difference in power from a board-breaker. Most people don't handtrap the Rod search in game 2 once they've seen Branded Fusion or Cartesia.
The downside is mostly adding another brick. Circle obviously depends on the other cards in your hand, and might be low value anyway depending on your opponent's board.

I don’t think you can target dragoon with master of chaos to bring it back when it is special summoned, dragoon can’t be targeted by neither player even when in graveyard
This is incorrect. Dragoon can only not be targeted on field. The the grave it can be targeted :) hope this helps

I don’t think it’s good tbh. It’s a case where you do snake eyes stuff first then DM stuff. There isn’t any synergy outside of “souls send witch.
That and to pay the prices for a sub optimal snake-eye deck just doesn’t make any sense to me.
In master-duel, there is a much better case to run SE-DM. Not so much TCG
@@MatchieYGO It actually does better than you think.I've been playing at locals and ending on a dragoon with an appaloosa it's kind of broken Or any other board with the flamberg and the IP with the secrets of dark magic set and have a flammage.Set your dark magician to dispel a trap card zone.So you have interruption to get your opponent and then bust out a dragoon.And whatever you wanna make with IP still broke it.Could you just use flameburgs for dragoon? Then summon the 2 snake eye monsters of a flamberge.Then you have 2 extra material for your I.P along with the dragoon.So you still have interruptions?I think the branded is actually overrated and it's not as good as people think
