Omg... I need to only watch your vids after eating! Which wasn't the case today Tim! Sadly in my neck of the woods the "Golden Corral" is the only one I can think of... at least for breakfast/brunch. I actually enjoy going there for dinner but certainly wish there was smoked salmon or even seafood omelettes with hollandaise sauce! I'm drooling as we speak after watching this great video. Hi Mike, the hollandaise was quite enjoyable. Albert and I later realized that we must have had two cups of Hollandaise / butter each by the end of the meal 😯
I subbed, buddy!! I like watching buffet videos; they all pretty much show the same thing. But you are so laid back, engaging with the staff, and offer so many geniune compliments. Not to mention good editing and smooth, slow pans on the food (and thank you for always showing the cheese selection!!) I can`t believe you don`t have more subscribers with all of these positive attributes!! PS Are you from Vancouver?

My father is from Vancouver, and my brother lives in Victoria, so I`ve been lucky to have been able to visit the majestic left coast quite a few times. I`m originally from Kitchener-Waterloo (an hour south-west from Toronto) but have been living in Tokyo for the last 18 years. The food over here, from 7-11s to restaurants to Japanese inns, is of a higher quality than most places (Japanese take their food seriously!!) but the buffets can`t compare to North America....that`s why I`m hooked on your videos!!
What an excellent idea - to offer a buffet like this at an airport. How else would you get misers like myself to open their purses there (and end up spending 37-40 dollars)? Genius. Hope all is well with you and yours, Bonnie
I approve of any buffet that has mushrooms looks like a good breakfast. So much yummy food looks like very good breakfast. Looks like you had good time. Last time i was in Vancouver i got there in the early morning and never noticed a buffet. Mental note look for breakfast buffet next time i'm there early in the morning.

Good thing about Vancouver the airport is in the middle of the city and is at most 20 mins for Richmond where i stayed in sep 2019. You can visit the airport anytime. In Melbourne where i live it is on the opposite side and takes over an hour to get to plus there is no train and a toll is required

Just the cost of the parking alone would have covered the cost of the meal 🙂. Glad you had the chance to try out the tandoori flame... There's a bit of a lineup and how you didn't have to wait too long like I did...

Hello STAR ALLIANCE FLYER, yes -- this is only for breakfast which is about $30 CDN. Being an airport, their breakfast starts quite early like 6am which is quite nice :-)
I’m not big on buffets but popular buffets I will consider because there will be enough dishes that are constantly being refreshed. But breakfast buffets, at least at hotels for guests are probably my least favorites. The foot tends to not be. Dry hot. My favotote breakfast foods are scrambled eggs, pancakes amd French toast Eggs sitting too long taste, IMHO, very bad. Amd pancakes, waffles amd French toast tend to taste stale
I love bread and baked items. If I was there I would touch and squish everything. But it was funny to see that woman touch an item and back off. She was entranced by all the breadiness of everything.
Love your videos, but if this is the best voted breakfast buffet in Vancouver, then it's another example of the sad state of buffets in Vancouver. For $30, doesn't look worth it at all!
Hi Kelly, yeah I read somewhere that it was voted the best breakfast buffet here, but my favorite is still at the Hotel Vancouver (at their restaurant called Notch 8). Considering it's at the airport, the price was okay - not terribly unreasonable. Have you been to Vancouver before? All the best :-)
@@TimLeeLetsGo If it's at Notch 8, then I can believe it'll be great. I live in Burnaby and love buffets. But it's hard to find ones that come close to the ones you can find in the states.
@@ImaCanuck yeah, it so true. Quite expensive here and certainly not a grand. I'm notice places in the State along the west coast is quite costly as well. Hmm... might be time to visit Vegas and Macau in the near future. :-)
@Tim Lee I don’t mind pricey if it’s got a good selection. There are affordable buffets in Washington that are decent. Wonderful in Bellingham is a favourite. And if you’re willing to pay a little more and travel a little farther, you should try Feast in Renton or Haiku in Redmond.

It's a bit confusing... they call it the "Greater Vancouver Regional District" (GVRD) which includes the cities of Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, etc.... So the Vancouver International airport is actually in the city of Richmond.

I ate at Hanami in YVR before leaving in oct 2019 and it was poor at best. Expensive and poor quality
