That buffet looks wonderful! I think starting at the desert table is the best idea lol. We stayed at the Hotel Vancouver when we were in Vancouver in April and it was quite lovely. I guess we'll have to go back to try the buffet :)

By the way, I've noticed most of your stays and meals are at the fairmont..very good choice. But I must say, have you noticed all the fairmont restaurants (across Canada, Philippines, etc) seem to have the worst lighting for videos and pictures? 😉
@@TimLeeLetsGo Yes, the lighting is usually quite dim in their restaurants and our camera does not do well in low light. We like to use a GoPro as it's less obtrusive, but the trade off is poor quality in low light settings.

It's been years since I visited Hotel Vancouver. Love the renovations. The Thanksgiving brunch looks amazing; pricey but it's all about the quality and ambience right? And just for comparisons sake, a 14 oz prime rib with side veggies and a baked potato or fries costs $39 at the Keg. Since this buffet includes an assortment of seafood and other breakfast items, then I think it's a good deal if you have a big appetite 😋
Looks great. I like your detailed coverage. Watching this Thanksgiving 2022. It's around $105 this year! But it is a holiday. They did it at the 15th floor this year. Been eating my own turkey all week so didn't think I wanted to do a buffet this year, until watching this video, lol. Love that they made Hotel Vancouver building cookies too.

I really don't think that those pots of crab and shrimp are that full. Usually the pots are filled with ice and a layer of crab and shrimp are just layered over the top . I have done it many times It really impresses customers.😋😁😀
Your last video was the buffet in Toronto for $39.95, and what a buffet it was. Hotel buffets / lunches/breakfasts,etc,.. are always very expensive. In general, any hotel meal is expensive. I would never eat food at any hotel because of how ridiculous the prices are. $79.95 is way too much for the lack of choices on the buffet menu, (not enough seafood choices) Thanksgiving buffet or not, this buffet is really worth what you paid for in Toronto. The place looked empty, at $79.95, and it should be empty. I'm sure they would've attracted more people at $39.95, especially on Thanksgiving. Btw, nice video Tim.
I was really impressed at the buffet in Toronto at the Dragon Pearl! Really grateful for those who suggested this and it certainly did not disappoint! Yeah, there's generally a premium at hotels etc, but I must say the quality of the ingredients was there! Probably the best prime rib I've had. I'm still so surprised at what great value you get in Toronto in general!

The food looked absolutely delicious, I can tell everything was cooked perfectly. I would of went for more prime rib and crab.
It was nice to see them back...it's a bit on the pricey side and the quality of the ingredients certainly stood out 😋

Maybe not as bad as you think. I picked a random night and the cheapest I saw was $146+tax for a queen room at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

If I knew about the Vancouver Fairmont Thanksgiving buffet I would of made reservations to go there with my family 😀 Instead I cooked a turkey and ham at home which was fun. I really don't think that those pots of crab and shrimp are that full. Usually the pots are filled with ice and a layer of crab and shrimp are just layered over the top . I have done it many times It really impresses customers.😋😁😀

Your last video was the buffet in Toronto for $39.95, and what a buffet it was. Hotel buffets / lunches/breakfasts,etc,.. are always very expensive. In general, any hotel meal is expensive.
I would never eat food at any hotel because of how ridiculous the prices are. $79.95 is way too much for the lack of choices on the buffet menu, (not enough seafood choices) Thanksgiving buffet or not, this buffet is really worth what you paid for in Toronto.
The place looked empty, at $79.95, and it should be empty. I'm sure they would've attracted more people at $39.95, especially on Thanksgiving. Btw, nice video Tim.
I was really impressed at the buffet in Toronto at the Dragon Pearl! Really grateful for those who suggested this and it certainly did not disappoint! Yeah, there's generally a premium at hotels etc, but I must say the quality of the ingredients was there! Probably the best prime rib I've had. I'm still so surprised at what great value you get in Toronto in general!

For now, the buffet was only for Thanksgiving. It's just a regular a la carte restaurant regularly. Hopefully they do this every weekend 😋
