I don’t think they are overpriced. But I do think they are something that only the upper middle class can afford. Once it is something that is equal to a normal value new car I think a few years after that, once there begins becoming a cheap used Tesla then we will truly be transitioning into a world where everyone can go electric. And, lastly, Musk and Tesla have repeatedly said that Cybertruck will come after Model Y has ramped up. Since Model Y is only just now about to start production, it will be several quarters (maybe closer to Q3 2022) until it is "ramped up". There will be some kind of eventual smaller (presumable hatchback) and cheaper car coming in the next few years. 2022 seems extremely unlikely and even 2023 is probably aspirational and may or may not happen by then. Remember the Tesla Semi was aspirationally coming out in 2019 and it's STILL a year + away and has been pushed several times already. But when this new smaller, cheaper (so-called "$25K") car does come out, Musk has already said it won't be called Model 2. This video seems clickbaity with regurgitated (though pretty!) Tesla video compilation footage with inaccurate voice-over narrative.

You won’t see the $25K Tesla for some time. I “was” a 2 car family. Eight months ago I sold my Lexus, also took 20% out of my 401K and bought Tesla stock with the proceeds. My shares have increased. 2 and 1/2 times my investment. Why overland in a truck that you have to have a specially built topper for. ...Truck buyers buy trucks because they are practical and tools... if the Cybertruck arent either of those I dont think its going to do well in the "US" Truck market...Made in texas or not. A Truck is a tool and practical Accessory for us truck buyers... Seems like most stuff for cybertruck will be proprietary and that will hurt it...For actual truck buyers that is. The thing that gives Cyber Truck an edge over anyone else making EV's right now is the power density of the battery pack . You get a lot more amp hours in the battery pack in the Tesla over anyone else's claims and I trust Tesla's estimated range far more than anyone else's estimated range . My son in law is a cement mason which falls more in line with those that use their truck for work and even he says he would love to have one if nothing else for the portable power (that seems to be the eye catcher for him) . It seems cement masons use power tools and there isn't always convenient power available on work sites . So there's one opinion of someone that uses a truck for work and that isn't a Musk fanboy by any stretch .

Hopefully if Tesla makes its own steel it will be green (hydrogen based process - carbon neutral). The process works and is being deployed elsewhere. The EQS will be using it.

8-10,000 budget very basic of course. With a pick up truck version that gets at the very least 250-300 miles of range.

Creating a demand and forward selling is terrific. But endless delays, can be costly not only for the cyber truck but future coward selling. This could becomes Tesla’s Achilles heel.

I think the "model 2" will be named the model Q to poke fun at TSLAQ traders.
They use stainless steel, not steel.
Tesla Model numbers were chosen to spell 'S3XY' i.e. SEXY. They could not use Model E because Ford already had that so they used 3.
Hopefully if Tesla makes its own steel it will be green (hydrogen based process - carbon neutral). The process works and is being deployed elsewhere. The EQS will be using it.
STAINLESS steel... putz. 'steel' is as common as water.
