My friend had x3 pro. He don't trust android updates so he haven't updated his phone since he bought it. 3 people I knew who had x3 pro had problems in their device. All three of them have updated device. And the one which is still running good is not updated one. Kinda funny.

I similarly kept my x3 pro without updating and still it died after 13 months.Now its in service centre for motherboard replacement.I dont trust poco anymore.Forget issues due to software,not even the hardware is of quality it seems.

Poco F1 was a hit because of Hardware and value what it is offering. But i am sure even for F4 the community of custom rom's will open and lots of rom's will be developed. The same case was observed with F1 but even today the custom rom support still exists and will continue for another 2 or 3 years from now.

Its not just with Poco, SAMSUNG selling their overpriced midrangers also have this issue. Their M series phones especially with the exynos 9611 soc started to show auto restart issue, which makes the phone impossible to use, since the end of last year and gradually became dead. This happened with many M (and some A) series phones and service centres are diagnosing with motherboard damage and charging a hefty 8-10k for motherboard replacement for out warranty devices. Some people complained that even after the replacement they had to again encounter the same problem. It has something to do with the poor heat management of the chip rather than the updates, i guess. This thing is talked about in all the samsung phone forums but no big youtuber has properly covered this. After facing problems with a Redmi device, I brought a galaxy M31s in 2020 to atleast have a "stable experience". Reading about the restart problem, I had stopped updating my phone from jan 2022, but somehow it started to show the auto restart issue from march 2022 . I had been to the service centre in between but they kept on blaming the user for the damage and asking for money. Then i was thinking about exchanging the phone on flipkart but by that time the phones was dead.
And the fact is that, the tech youtubers don't see any flaw in Samsung mobiles.

same even mere mein ghost touch, auto reboot while calling, so much lag in 10% battery ye sab bhi issues hai 🥲
Take data backup and Reset it, if problem persists, exchange it.
Believe me or ignore but more issues come into the light , exchange prices will go down.
I'd seen poco m2 pro got 10k exchange price during BBD in 2021...

So I suggest to wait for others experience for miui 13.
In long run, I prefer to exchange till end of 2k22 with 5k & onwards for better alternative.

But few friends who had bought m2,m2 pro ,x3 pro are facing hail lot of problems....

I am using f4 for 20 days and no issue buttery smooth. And camera is also good don't listen to reviews.
Simple solution is : USE CUSTOM ROMS😁.
There are many users who are still using k20 pro, poco f1 with A12 custom roms and they won't have any problems and reasons to upgrade.(myself , I'm using custom roms on my poco x3 since the day I bought it and till now never had any issues)

Had X2, exchanged after 2 years for F4. Happy with both the devices. F4 is way better than all others within the same price range. From performance to durability. (you can check Gupta information's durability test, only phone that survived his extreme tests). And in terms of electronics, any device can go wrong, a percentage of luck is always involved.

No more throttling in 8+ gen 1 means if 888 and Exynos 2100 was made from tsmc foundry then it won't throttle and will powerful....
My friend is expert in microsoldering, he has high reputed shop.
He got so many dead camera redmi note 10 pros, most of them were fixed by reballing the soc.
I dont think the issue is firmware since this is random, mostly this is an issue with poor BGA solder of the soc in motherboard.
I agreed . When my poco m3 was dead i visited four to five smartphone repair store they told me it can't be fixed but after few days my friend suggested to his relatives repair shop they fixed in three days and chargee ₹1800 rupees.

@@Amiee2021 How? the failure rate of motherboards won't be that high to budget for all the new poco F4's, they may be using low quality motherboards but i don't think they go for something as stupid as using few failed motherboards and refurbishing them for few poco phones.

"Not showing 2 year warranty" is somewhere wrong. They published their 2 Year warranty offer very well.
Lagta hai poco iss bar mi 11 x ka motherboard use kar raha hai .kyuki dono mai 865 processor use Kiya gaya hai 870 overclock processor is 865 ka .

Mere aise bhi kuch pehchan-wale he jinhone bahot dikkat (financially) ke samna karte hue phone karida tha. Lekin Companyo ko kya ? Wo to bas business karne aur phone bechne aaya he na..!! Maine bhi 3yrs se POCO F1 use karte huye bhi sirf aur sirf iss wazase POCO ko cancel kar ke mere bete ke liye iss baar Motorola G-82 liya he halhi me. Aap ki tarha other youtubers ko bhi iss na-insafi ke khilaaf awaz uthana chahiye 🙏 ya iss topic ko lekar ek se ek video bhi banana chahiye, jaise ki ek-do youtubers ne kiya bhi. My notee 7 pro is showing lot of glitches like volume button appear suddenly once my phone is got croupt it charged me 700 and i don't know suddenly why after the update period got over it showing more and more glitches next time i won't go for mi

I'm using Xiaomi phones from 2017 till now. Redmi Note series, Mi X series, Poco X too and yesterday ordered Poco F4. But my friend, till date, never got any problem after update.
May be some devices were not top notch or may be the user did not used properly, that's why problem occured.
What about now is poco f4 still in good condition after 2 months

I also have some issues with my brand new poco f4 less then 1month old ,i was suddenly unable to turn on or off anything in notification panal eg,. Wifi , internet, aeroplane mode etc.and then i tried turning on the camera it just crashed and then it just the whole phone immediately freezed with a pop up saying something like "camera has suddenly stopped " so i restarted my device by holding on to the power button for 5-10 sec,then sometime later i was playing a game (CALL OF DUTY) and while playing, it just stopped and crashed without any pop ups or anything,don't know what's the issue

There simply wasn't any solution that I could find but it turns out 6gb ram simply isn't enough so I turned on the dev options and limited the background processes to only 2 and added that game in "memory exceptions" in the game turbo.and that fixed my game crashing issue.and actually after the hyper os update the ram optimization has improved significantly and now I can play even more demanding games like fortnite and warzone at 60 fps!.and for the camera I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the images the skin colour and details were simply not acceptable so I started using a gcam and the improvement in the images ,colour recognition and details have been improved tremendously .
Thanx to given enough knowledge about smart phones.
Redmi note 11 did not give android 12 why

Ya agreed it has good custom rom support but the problem is that the hardware they use is cheap even some chip in mobo in some units they used are faulty cheap which due to it some x3 pro get bricked
