I would like to share some technical specifications regarding BSNL's current situation:
BSNL is not using the TCS 4G Core. It is currently operating with a modified 3G Core. The TCS core is still under development and might be installed after October 2024.
BSNL provides LTE services using its 3G Core Network.
The bandwidth is limited to 5 MHz (only for testing), whereas other TSPs are using 10 or 20 MHz.
BSNL is not using any MIMO antennas at present. In the future, it will deploy 2x2 or 4x4 MIMO antennas depending on the location.
I hope this clarifies the situation. We cannot compare our current stage with private TSPs, who are using equipment from Samsung, Nokia, and Ericsson.
We, the engineers at BSNL, are doing our best for the future of Indian telecommunications.

I have bsnl since 2008. Still active. But i use airtel/jio as primary, since receiving otp on bsnl is a game of luck. I can understand that the internet is slow and all these excuses. But tell me what's stopping bsnl to deliver simple sms/otp on time even with more than 60% signal.
Forget about 5G/4G, if bsnl could have given reliable call/sms service, many would have used bsnl. Because I use internet mainly from fiber line. I barely use mobile data indoors. Outdoors only for upi.

SERVICE MATTERS
Gupta ji nahi sochenge. Jab BSNL khatam ho jayega toh Jio Airtel mahine ka recharge 1000 rupaya karega. Gupta ji khushi se recharge karayenge apni RUclips ki aamdani se. 😂
BSNL Landline/Broadband used to be dead half a month in 2014,However they still used to generate normal bills,that was called Looting...

Jio is not cheating, all of you forgot when it was given free 4g and free 5g now blaming for hike. That's Indians typical mentality. BSNL lo support karna 5 years pahle y now
I'm living in village. My father has bsnl sim, but most of the time in a day, network isn't available, and always 2G.. sometimes(very rare) it goes to 3G for few minutes. On the other hand I'm using Jio, and All time the network is 5G. Very rarely it goes in 4G+ for few seconds. And average speed 400-600 MBps. So if a company gives me far better service than others, then I'm always ready to spend money on them.

I am using BSNL. 4g available in my area but I am experienced call drop while talking. Net is working fine not facing any issue.
Trust me Guys he is one of the most underrated tech youtuber.But i don't know why subscriber count is not increasing . Gupta deserve at least 3M subscriber.

BSNL started having great call quality and no zero drops to consistent drops and spotty internet. The only issue is hardware is dated and can't keep up with current demand. Currently I feel 4G/4G+/5G are not consistent for sustained usage when Jio initially launched. I had best possible speeds 40 to 50Mbps during COVID 19 lockdown with zero issues but after COVID mobile data speed are spotty on both Airtel and jio and forced to buy WiFi with consistent speeds.
Edit: iOS 17 latest update has very low data speed on Airtel not sure why and at the same time pixel 7 tensor 5g speed is 2x the iPhone 12/13

You need to test network performance on the same mobile phone. You are using High end phones for Airtel and Jio. And midrange phones for VI and BSNL. Modems are different in these phones.

Airtel 4G - 60 mbps , Airtel 5G - 250 mbps
Jio 4G - hardly 5 mbps , Jio 5G - 100 mbps
Vi 4G - 7-8 mbps
BSNL - no network

Gupta jee your phone with LTE Band 28 will work best with BSNL....At 2nd place your phone only supported LTE Band1.....Try to check with phones which support 700Mhz LTE Band

BSNL ko acha perform karne ke liye same level playing field government ko dena chahiye tabhi comparison banega. BSNL ke uper restriction kyun lagaya geya hai government ke end se global market se deal karne ke liye. Private companies apna equity dilute karke fund raise kar sakte hein but BSNL government owned hai ta Funds ta government ko dena hoga technology, tower deployment ke liye. BSNL apna 60,70 thousands tower mein kaise compete karega private companies ke saath jinke paas 4,5 lakh towers hai. 2nd thing Bandwidth BSNL ke paas 4g aur 5g ke liye sirf 2,3 bands hai but private companies ke paas 10-12 + bands available hai.
In my area I've received 435mbps download speed in airtel 5g outdoor.😊

में बड़े शहर में रहता हूं और मेरा sim airtel था लेकिन कभी कभी दिक्कत देता था फिर क्या सूझी jio में port किया और मुसीबत शुरू एयरटेल महीने में एक दो बार नेटवर्क छोड़ता था लेकिन jio हर रोज 8 से 10 बार net छोड़ रहा है
एयरटेल वाले कंप्लेन करो तो सुनते थे jio वाले तो सुनते भी नहीं
आज फिर port कराकर एयरटेल में गया तो पता चला कि जो आपका पोस्टपेड प्लान था वो बंद हो गया 😢😢😢

@@ItsOkTo_Fail unlimited 5g is just temporary. After 1 or 2 months they will stop it till many switch to 5g!! There is no requirement of 5g in India.

Mera area mai toh 2.53mbps ka speed hai, Bohut bahiyad speed hai Airtel, 5g abhi nhi aya hamere area mai only Airtel hai, or jio worst 100kbps, bsnl tha pehle Abhi Pada hai 2 sal sai no network coverage. Vi not available my area 🤡.

In my area BSNL 4G speed is 0.06 Mbps 😂😂😂 airtel 2G speed is 0.260 Mbps. airtel 5G= 78Mbps. airtel 4G = 66Mbps. Location- Varanasi
