I am a proud owner of Samsung Galaxy A50 which I purchased way back in April 2019. I never thought that this series will be so famous worldwide. This phone is still performing well except for the battery drainage issue.

We A series users want quality not quantity. I'm using A72 from 3 years and the experience is fantastic. In my phone there is no jitter, performance issue and after Android 14 update device is running more smoothly and camera optimization also improved. No matter how good specs chinese companies give but they cannot match samsung like software experience, Ui, service & software support and mainly trust! Trust me guys if you want a phone to use for 3 to 4 years then blindly go for samsung. Samsung always fulfills it's update promises. I was a chinese phone user then I shifted to SAMSUNG a series.

I am using M21 since 2020. Even today battery gives almost 1 full day backup. It's run on exonoys 9611. But it never disappointed me for day to day tasks. Who have time to play stupid games?

Samsung feels safer for me rather than lower priced chinese phones. I dont like apple restrictions too. So i will be too happy with A55 for next 5 years. I haven't used any A series phone only S series and they work like a champ the only a series phone i have experienced is the A50s which is used by my dad and it still worked nicely and cameras are still good after 2 years of usage but unfortunatelly it got stollen so now i gave them a s20 fe 5g .

I'm using Galaxy A32 4G since 2021 Feb and have Galaxy Note 8 since launch. No hiccup, performance is still okay, battery life is too good till now (note 8 battery backup is low now). So i can say Samsung phone works well in long term.

I'm a user of a52s 5g , bought this phone only for good camera for 35000 but now using software updates they are downgrading camera.performance is ok but camera is worst in terms of details and light management .

Right, My father purchased Galaxy A34 previous year. I suggested to him not to buy it and buy any other smartphone within 20k budget of any brand except Samsung but my father said that Samsung smartphones last much longer and are reliable. According to its 30k price, its cons are :
• Dimensity 1080 processor (one could get a smartphone with Snapdragon 800 series processor or Dimensity 8000 series processor in this range easily)
• 25W charging (it is slow but some people say that slow charging is good for battery health)
• Thick bezels (idk but it looks cool)
• Cameras could be better in the price range ( it has 48MP (OIS) + 8 MP + 5 MP camera setup )
• U-shaped selfie camera notch at this price
• Plastic build
These were the major cons according to this price. The only reason it is better for the price is it's reliability and awesome One UI.

Being an electrical engineer and knowing all modern computing hardware I bought a a54 consciously. Whereas I got it only at 82 KD. For this price range the soc power is pretty much ok. And you can't measure the whole Galaxy lineup based on the performance of the a14.

Could be some form of ram leak. If a restart, and app updates do not fix the issue. Backup your data and factory reset. You can also try removing some apps like Facebook, Instagram, etc.

I totally disagree with you. I am using A71 4G. I bought the phone 4 years ago. Performance isn't too bad even today with the Regulator security update. Because brands provide long-term support to their customers but Chinese bands provide attractive specifications but time does not provide long-term support.

I just moved from A71 8 GB to A55 12 GB. The A71 probably has better camera. But it has slowed down. Yes, Samsung makes older phones slow. I almost bought S23. But it has some problems regarding battery. So, I settled for A55. Why still Samsung? Show me a better brand for customization. For appearance and automation, Samsung offers the best. Good Lock and Routine+ are 2 things that set Samsung apart from others.

I am using a A73 for last 2 years and it didn't disappoint me at all .I played Genshin impact,Bgmi at a good framrrate,cod etc.I got this for 47k and it was better than any phone which i was getting at that rate

In USA, Europe, Oceania, there is very little brand recognition outside Apple and Samsung and maybe Lenovo (Motorola). Oneplus was quite popular at one time, but as it became close to 80%-90% of Sammy price, people saw no value in buying a Oneplus over Sammy. Other Chinese brands like Oppo, Vivo, Xiomai and Relame have unfavourable image in the USA and Europe. That's why Samsung A35 and A55 have such high sales volume in the world. Budget conscious customers not after iPhone 15 or S24 buys mid range Sammy phones.
Loved your analysis but i would always prefer samsung over any other brand. I have samsung phones for 7 yrs and had to switch to some other brand and i can say no other brand can match my expectations. I'm well aware of processors, storage etc but as someone who only uses phone for normal daily taks i would prefer a brand that's customer centric, provides great UI experience and has easily accessible services and accessories.
Im satisfied with my Nothing Phone 2, only little camera optimisation is needed ,other things are good .
