Totally agree with u sir..spending a huge amount on these things just for some features is useless.most of us just use it for tiktok ,youtube and camera and there's plenty of mid range options according to so called flagship phones.
The way you pointed out towards buying expensive phones, such a nice of telling the hidden truth. Yes, it is , we are all trapped in the brand status value and spending huge money on these expensive phones.
Brother you are 100% right. 95% of people don't need so much power and features in a phone. Plus to notice the difference between processing speed we need to compare it with much older phones. But one thing i must add is, if you need a good camera, good performance, good battery life in a good package you will end up buying a flagship
Well said bro, everyone should listen to you, I know many people who purchased 4 or 5 phones and still not satisfied and buy i phone and regret unable to pay EMI.
Good video. Another point you should talk about is how we can reduce the e-waste on earth by prolonging our use of a mobile handset, instead of changing it frequently. I am using my IPhone XR for last 4.5 years and have no intention of changing it unless it becomes a necessity. It is still pretty good today.
Exactly my thoughts.. I never update annually, totally an old-fashioned girl😇..now I'm using s21 ultra, & it too got as a gift from my elder cousin brother from UK..hopefully it'll last for more than 7-12years 😊..no need to waste money after buying phone. I never like showing off to others, or become materialistic.

I completely agree with you and have been following the same principles for years now. My last expensive phone was the iPhone 5. After that, I just stick to a 15-20k phone. This can be changed every two years. A new 15k phone performs much better than a 3-4 year old 1 lac phone. Companies tweak the software with an update and reduce the performance, which forces you to upgrade your phone after two years or so. Flagship phones are meant for people who have excess disposable money. Hard-earned money should not be wasted for show-off or feel-good factors.
I bought s24 ultra at 119000 with no cost emi. And I cancelled the emi and paid the load amount of 109000. And sold mobile with profit 😂 Indians are more smart than company.
I was also addicted of flagship😢. After realising my need and priority like, good battery life, decent display quality good camera quality. And I jumped on Samsung M51 . Still I m happy with this my second hand phone 😊😊😊
I resisted myself for straight 6 years of not buying an I phone although peer pressure has always remained. However, I kept investing my money in various things. Now i have more net worth than my peers.
Buying a costly phone isn't always about flaunting what we have. It is more like enjoying / living the moment. What more do you get just by increasing your asset and yet living in a primitive place. Money is nothing if you do not live with what you earn. How is that winning..??
@@-karthik- you also got a point here. If one is earning enough and after doing all necessary investment, someone is buying it. It worth it. But in today's world people first think for show-off before investing for the future. Balance is necessary everywhere.
"Thank you for opening my eyes to the dark side of buying expensive mobiles. Your insights have saved me from a potential mistake. Keep up the valuable work in shedding light on these crucial aspects!"😊
I have never ever come across such a sensible and honest person in my entire history of watching Youtbe Videos. You are really a man of practical wisdom!
You have maturity level above your age. I completely agree with you word by word. This applies not only to mobile phones, this rule applies to every aspect of our life and our expenditures. If we don't think logically we fall into this trap. And the middle class falls into this trap. If the middle class comes out of this trap more than 50 percent of it's financial problems will be solved. Thanks for the video. Immediately subscribed your channel.
So do you actually think 12k phone is as good as 60k phone? Leave that, there's huge difference even between 12k phone and 25k phone. 12k phones were amazing back in around 2017 - 2020. Post covid, due to chip shortages, those 12k phones cost 20k+ these days. Compare redmi note 5 with redmi note 12, you'll get clear sense and so will this RUclipsr.

I agree... But I feel 24 to 26k can give you a balanced smartphone which gives a balance of processor, cameras and display... Whereas under 20k you have to compromise at one or the other aspect. ..and beyond 26k money on phone... It's a mere waste And yes... Data security features are given in a phone of 24 to 26k range... Like Knox security... And I am a guy who uses phone for 5 to 6 years.. So I spend that extra 5k for a balanced phone
I completely agree with everything said in this videos. Two years ago I had bought the iPhone 13. However, I had soon realised the mistake I have made. This video has helped spread the message and reality behind flagship smartphones. Kudos to Sagar bhai for making such useful and informative content and I hope you’ll continue this way.
Bro I was using an iPhone 7 since 2017 and upgraded to an iPhone 13 in June and I don’t think it was a bad decision for me. I totally understand that people have different opinions but it is not necessary to agree or disagree to each other
@@arnoldfernandes6764 I agree with you. I’d it also depends on the type of user. For example, I liked the freedom given by android thus causing my dislike towards iOS. However, seeing it completely from a financial standpoint I guess we all can agree that iPhones aren’t the best options out there.
I bought a Samsung J7 Nxt in 2017 and proudly used it for 7 years. However, I wanted to continue using it for at least 2 more years, but since I am working in an MNC, as you already know, some company applications do not work on Android 9. Recently, I bought another Samsung phone, the Samsung A34, two days ago. I hope it will work well and last at least 10 years.
Recently lost my 40 thousand rupees phone and was going to buy another at same range or a bit higher than that. but your video made me realized that being a middle class person and spending that much money on a material which i cannot use it on full potential amount that i pay is useless. Thanks a lot brother for opening my eyes ♥♥♥
I share the same view, its really true. My wife had gifted me 15k phone which I used for almost 5 yrs and it didn't give me any problem. Just recently I started facing minor battery problem which is normal after this long usage, so I said to myself its time to buy a new phone and just to keep up with the current trend I bought 40k phone which I still think is way beyond my requirement.
Agree with all your points... But for ex. a traveller like me... Who dont have any dslr, laptop.. I am choosing a phone ( samsung or iphone) around 50k is worth every penny.. I can do flawless editing and click some good pictures as well...i am not doing it for showoff..i am doing it for my myself. And why should i carry laptop dslr while travelling..one phone serves all my purpose. If i am buying a phone, i am such kind of user who use the phone to the maximum level. I know 95% of the people never use 90% of the features of a flagship phones.. But for few users like me...phones around 50k is worth the money.
Jai Hind Bhai, some how you are correct sir..... even i was about to purchase s24 ultra.... but after your video i have to re-think... thank you for the line " Status se jada FAMILY IMPORTANT HAI"....
Indeed, the video sheds light on concerning practices employed by corporations in the mobile device industry. It seems that deceptive tactics are being utilized to influence consumers towards purchasing expensive mobile devices.
Well done brother.. I think RUclips requires people like you who really speaks the truth. People do crazy things to buy a piece of metal/plastic which they think will enhance their status. People need to understand that for an average user, 90℅ of the time we use phone for whatsApp, Instagram, RUclips, calling etc.. So no point in buying a 1lakh phone when that can be done nowadays with a 10k phone. Brands like infinix, iqoo have become so good that we can get 15k-20k phone with crazy Features.. Hope people learn from this video and even if it helps 1 person change his mind, your video is worth it brother. Keep it up and keep doing such videos. Always there to support you❤❤❤❤
Kadwa but sach yahi hai, aajkal youngsters to pagal ho rakhe hai iPhone ko lekar bhale kaam uska kuch bhi na ho. Super informative and eye opener video sagar bhai. 🙏
I agree with your points but there is other side of coin too 1. Budget phones nowadays comes with ads in UI itself(i know that can be turned off but not everyone knows how) 2. If someone uses the phone for 5 years, flagship processor will remain smooth and there wont be need to upgrade after 3 years for lags, etc. 3. Regarding camera, DSLR or any other camera cannot match the simplicity/ availability of a phone(many RUclipsrs use Iphone for content creation) I think buying a phone in the price range of 35 - 45k with 90% features/specification of flagship and clean UI is the best bet.

Very good POV sir, Im using one plus 9R from 4 years , which spent 40k to buy, And iam targetting one more year to use this and take another mobile in this range, Not 1 .5 lack phone, its a trap i knew 😊
Ekdum sahi kaha apne..Yehi karn h ki 10k or 12k k phones k bhi value kamta ja raha h.... A few years back ₹8000 phones were so much capable...but now a days we get basic slow phones at 7000 to 10000 section. Competition is decreasing in this price range. The phones are becoming less capable as people are hypnotized to buy more flagships. And as you give more price and buy more costly phones...the next new phones will be even more costly to step up the game. So it's a constant chase. And this creates two major problems... First is we get slow phones at lower prices and poor people are unable to get anything good... Secondly...It gets very hard for a new company to grow and bring anything valuable... because it has to compete with such high cost components of phones which is due to established phone companies. So more capitalism and monopoly...less variety and choice.

This is so true. I got a samsung s20 fe 5g at 35k and soon after a month it got a company price cut of 10k. Later when I went to sell it off, I literally got only 10k after a mere 6 months of use and that too even when the phone condition was top notch. That indeed was a big lesson learnt the hard way for me that there is no point in buying a costly phone of 1 lakh or above unless you want to continue using it for at least 5 years. Also then if you do the math you are not able to get full value out of it. Sagar you are indeed doing a great job by spreading this awareness.
I'm using s20fe, bought for 40k 2 years back.. It's running good.. I'm sure i won't get any money when i resell, I'll keep using it until it dies or battery dies
One of the most sensible videos on the topic. I also love to play games..but on the laptop and as your rightly said, one can buy a powerful gaming laptop for much lesser and something that can be upgraded and repaired for much cheaper.
Your point of view is correct but all flagship phones are not bad, some flagships come in average amount that you can buy. For example I wanted a good Amo LED display phone so i bought s20+ by paying 45000/- 3 years back which comes with highest resolution considering in any phone. Still the phone runs smoothly though I use most of the time. In fact I use it heavily 3 times I charge and use it (if i purchased iPhone I could have charged not less than 6 times!!).
True and applicable for all expensive things in our life. कोई भी महंगी कार, मोबाइल या कुछ और, सभी का एक्साइटमेंट कुछ दिन रहता है फिर हमारा दिमाग उसके लिए यूस टू हो जाता है
Completely agree with your logic. But IF You Can Afford I think you should buy a phone that will provide you with stability and a hassle free experience. This things you are not mentioning. If you buy a 10-20k phone right now it will give you problems after 6 months.. then you will regret your buying decision again. Better to buy a device that is balanced and will be with you for long term. I think in todays market a device in the range of 30-35 will be really stable for atleast upcoming 4+ years. And a reputed brand with updates and your hardware to run those updates will be really beneficial . And on this note I really do think a phone of 1.5lakhs is literally too much. For iphones you can easily buy 2-3 year old spartphones for 1/4th the price they again provide you with similar experience.
well you can go for one plus 11R with 16 gb for having flagship experience.. processor is around 30% slower then the 1.5 lakh iphone but have almost similar features.. and also comes with superfast charging 3 times then latest iphone in the market.. stability is good.. you just need to tweak some settings like we have in google pixel phones and you will ge t hassle free experience.. my 1 year old smasung 21 fe was giving me slowness and i tweaked 4-5 settings and it became superfast again.. but it doesn't come with fast charging as in oneplus.. for tweaking settings you need 2-3 hours of you time.. or go for something 2-3 year old iphone.. it's your choice..
My 17k phone is still running smoothly since 2019, thanks to the custom Pixel OS with the latest June security update ROM. I always prefer custom ROMs because they prevent planned obsolescence by manufacturers who intentionally make your phone slow and laggy to encourage you to buy a new one. If you don't buy new devices, how would they show profit to investors?
Im using asus rog 5 no doubt good processor good ram a good gaming phone but the twist is some software update may bring some issues that can damage motherboard it costs something like 25 to 30 k so there’s no point in asus phones but we cant say the same in rog laptops because its the best of gaming laptops
I am watching this vedio in my redmi note 4 which i bought 8 years ago in 11k and till now it is full filing all my requirements and i am happy and satisfied with it so i will suggest first know your requirement then buy anything. Many of us didn't watch any movies or vedio in 4k resolution frequently and also i don't run any heavy software in mobile but now i am planning to buy a new one due to less storage in my current phone and 5G tech and feels satisfied that i didn't waste my money in 8 years on mobile phones which has just few different features than its previous model
i am also using redmi note 4 for more than 6 years but I am going to buy a poco x6 Neo. Because my is not working as it display is not responding and battery drain fast (on 100 percent play 3 hours)

I noticed people especially females buy iPhones just to use WhatsApp and it doesn't make any sense to me

Good video. Another point you should talk about is how we can reduce the e-waste on earth by prolonging our use of a mobile handset, instead of changing it frequently. I am using my IPhone XR for last 4.5 years and have no intention of changing it unless it becomes a necessity. It is still pretty good today.

Agar phone update nhi krege toh sahi chalega

Buying a costly phone isn't always about flaunting what we have. It is more like enjoying / living the moment. What more do you get just by increasing your asset and yet living in a primitive place. Money is nothing if you do not live with what you earn. How is that winning..??

Many of us didn't watch any movies or vedio in 4k resolution frequently and also i don't run any heavy software in mobile but now i am planning to buy a new one due to less storage in my current phone and 5G tech and feels satisfied that i didn't waste my money in 8 years on mobile phones which has just few different features than its previous model
note 4, was best phone i ever used, so smooth in multitasking and good snapdragon processor
@@ONDCHELP yes ..i completely agree with you
i am also using redmi note 4 for more than 6 years but I am going to buy a poco x6 Neo. Because my is not working as it display is not responding and battery drain fast (on 100 percent play 3 hours)
