I find that the oats are kinda chalky if you use cold water and put it straight into the fridge, so I usually put hot water with my oats then put it in the fridge. The texture comes out so much better! (:

Love your flavor combinations. You might try doing lacto-fermented overnight oats for some beneficial bacteria in your gut. You can keep your basic recipe the same but add one tablespoon of yogurt or kefir and leave the jar on the counter covered with a cloth overnight. In the morning your oats will be teaming with probiotics and your grains will be more easily absorbed by your body. Fermenting oats is a fantastic idea.

Thank you for inspiring me to make my own overnight oats!! I tried one for the first time last night and was SO happy with it this morning! I dont have chia seeds currently on hand so I swapped that out for flax seeds. So I did oats, water, flax seeds, 6 shakes of cinnamon, 2 TBS maple syrup, and added a dash of half & half this morning since it needed a teensy bit more moisture. SO AMAZING

It's so good I never liked overnight oats now I do thank you so much your recipes are sooo amazing.

I get what you mean by "sugar free" but you probably should call it 'No sugar added' instead. For people who dont understand, theres sugar in the fruit, so if you have diabetes or you are on a low carb diet or a diet that limits even natural sugars, just skip any fruits (including rasins)

Just came here to say I tried the blueberry recipe and it’s sooo good! I just wanna offer the suggestion of using unsweetened vanilla almond milk for more flavor and a more creamy consistency. I add a full cup of that rather than just 1/2 a cup. Also, if you find that it’s not very filling (I got hungry sooo fast and I’m only 110 lbs), I added a half a scoop of protein powder and it also adds more flavor, and helps with cravings/ hunger, for me at least.

Nice, I have a heck lot of instant oats so I had to use it... but I can’t leave it overnight or else it’s gonna be too mushy and weird. So what I do is I mix the ingredients first thing in the morning, then I let it soak while I’m preparing myself ( dress up etc.) then 20 mins should pass and the oats are ready!

Your recipes are perfect for me. Plus I not adding Chia seed's or mille because adding the water makes oat milk for me.

Hi- I've only ever eaten oatmeal hot, so I'm having a little trouble imagining I'll like this since it's cold. But your recipes sound so tempting....

Oh! In the U.S. we eat it hot. Especially now that it's cold out, I may warm it.

All these look great, especially the addition of the nuts and the coffee banana sounds like a good combo.

I use lemon juice to sweeten fruit, too! I think everyone should try it on fresh apples because it is so surprisingly better than sugar or anything else! Namaste! Love this recipe!
