- Well apart from almost making me cry for Anya again, this episode was amazing and made me so giddy with happiness ESPECIALLY THE END CREDIT SCENE. As expected...I lost it aha. Yuri is finally here eeeee! Can't wait to see him next episode. But apart from that we had more school. Anya and Becky have become friends which I'm really happy about. Loid trying to get Anya to apologise and Anya trying but always being shut down. SO funny haha! But then when she finally did apologise, has their every been a more tear-jerking apology. Damian's reaction!! That boy is so in love ahhhh! And then the latter half of the episode had me feeling so many emotions my heart can't take it. I love this anime so much!! Hope you enjoy!

This episode did highlight something important about both Anya and Damian's families. Anya has a fake family who genuinely care about her and love her where as Damian has a real family who don't care about him at all and from the looks of it, give him little to no love at all. It's a bit sad if you think about it this way.
Also no wonder Damian fell for Anya. From his POV she literally looks like a cute and shy angel (Anya already was a cute angel just multiply it by 100 from Damian's point of view).
the sad thing is that he is so proud of his title and family while the leave him in the dorm and never care for him , l feel for him when the truth of his father is out , they will probably lose their title and wealth too ...
The fact that Anya's fake family is more real than Damian's real one ever has been, my heart it starting to hurt for him. Oh yeah Damian's view of Anya just enhanced her cuteness how could he not fall in love haha

From Becky being Anya's absolute bestie, Loid hilariously trying everything he could to make Anya apologize, Damian's reaction to Anya's apology and how Anya always looks cute in his flashback despite her funny faces, to Loid and Yor doing legit deep parenting talks, this episode gave a huge smile to my face.
Next episode with Yuri is going to be hilarious 😂

I fear for Damian later if he wants Anya as his girlfriend with Yor and Loid being protective of her... Be prepared for the next episode because it's going to be good, the best so far!
I can imagine in the future when Damian came to their house to pick Anya up for a date, Yor, who's currently in the kitchen cutting up some veggies sends her off while furiously cutting those veggies alongside the cuttingboard underneath while Loid gave Damian the usual "get my daughter home before 9, or i'm gonna go ballistic on yo' ass" while giving him the most sinister sincere smile
But imagine if one day he learns that this friendship with anya is fake because it was for the mission, while he's so much in love with her

It was really cool to see their family interactions, they do look like a real family. Yor pushing the breaks when Loid was being too strict, and the fact that he listened to her, and changed his mind, instead of keeping pushing Anya to study, that's so relatable. Also Anya studying on her own, bc she promised she'd do her best.. I have no words, she's the best

Yeah no I absolutely loved that whole moment between Yor and Loid, them helping each other out and talking things through like a real mum and dad, so meaningful. Anyaaaa, my heart melted
The anime went heavy handed on pointing out Damians blossoming feelings for Anya. As if it's okay to "ship" them, I guess it depends what you believe that shipping implies. Little kids develop crushes all the time. They often do not understand their own feelings, which is what's going on with Damian. Maybe it develops into a cute relationship that could become a more mature love later in life. I don't see any harm in that. Some fans draw them as a teenaged couple. I don't see any problem about that either. Teenagers date. What I'm not so coo with is people talking about children doing stuff they shouldn't be doing. I believe I don't need to give more details on that.

Yeah I'm going with the mindset of yeah it's a cute little crush and a cute little ship, nothing mature of course, just young love. I have seen the art of them aged up floating about twitter since this episode and it just made me ship them more!!

I love Anya's perspective and how it's so realistic, feeling the consequences of her punching Damian, and Damian feeling something for Anya for treating him in a way no one else has before, it's just so cool...
I also love Becky and Anya but goddammit she's interfering with world peace.

Ah damn the subtitles you used missed an important nuance. The word Damien used when he said "I'll never forgive you !" Is pronounced the exact same way as if he said "I'll never accept it !" The joke is that while everyone else thought it meant he said forgive he meant to say he'll never accept his feelings.
Oh really? That's really interesting because the first part he said translated to "I'll never accept it" but not the second. I guess it was important for us to get the "I won't forgive part" though if you think about it
Anya not wanting to study might be because of her flashback of episode 1, where we saw that the scientist that experimented on her want her to just study and use her powers.
And Loid teaching Anya and not working might be because Loid is using the same methods he was teach to become spy, so he doesn't realize at first that isn't the right method for her.
Yeah I mean kids typically don't like to study and for Anya who's actually younger than the rest it's even harder but you're probably right in saying that has a part to play too. And about Loid too, hopefully he and Yor can work together to find a better way to help Anya study

It seems that nowadays education is both a right and a responsibility in most countries. I'm not sure about the Cold War-era East Germany from which Ostania took inspiration though

I thought this was a great episode to set the status quo in Anya’s class. It’s reasonable to “fear” the girl that punched out one of the kids with highest social status, and I’m glad she has Becky at her side to help Anya navigate the minefield that is upper class structure.
Speaking of Becky, I noticed a cute detail in her design that I tried talking to my elder son about this morning
“Oh, you mean her bomb shaped hairpin?”
“…..yes.”
Since she’s the daughter of a defense contractor, I thought it was a cute touch!
Speaking of cute, Anya Cute Counter is a well earned 8 this episode.

I actually believe that Anya didn't mean Yor with that phrase.
We know that in episode 4, Anya started to cry because she remember her mother and she isn't around.
So my theory is that Anya's mom try to kill his father, she failed and she is dead.
And you might ask, why Anya's mother would try to kill her father? I got the theory that the scientist of the flashback was Anya's father and he force her into experimenting with her power.

If you pay attention to Turning Point 1, that's how Ghyslaine calls out to Eris before the light engulfs her. In episode 16, that's also the expression Paul uses when making sarcastic comments about Rudeus traveling with Eris.
Here, Anya simply hears the driver refer to Becky as "Becky ojou-sama". With the innocence of a 4-year-old who wasn't taught proper ettiquette, she simply starts repeating that.
I'd assume Becky doesn't want that kind of formality because that would mean they can't be friends.
In China I once had this French girlfriend and we went out to dinner with a Chinese friend of hers. We thanked him and he got upset because in China "friends don't need to say thank you", so thanking him meant we weren't really friends (our Chinese wasn't very good).

Since the stage is a fictional country, Westeris, Eden is a very prestigious school, and Lloyd wants Anya to be a bridge to Desmond, so he went to Anya to apologize to Damian. I want you to go to school. Damian will be involved with Anya a lot, for better or for worse, so I'm looking forward to broadcasting it in anime. By the way, Japan is compulsory education until the age of 15.
