Although spy-chiatrist is funny, I think it's better the anime went with “sp - a specialist in mental health” because I feel like that was handled more smoothly. Eden Academy is a prestigious school, filled with intelligent students and staff with strong connections from powerful people. So if Desmond were to hear about this in any way, he'll have his guard up as he's a meticulous person. I mean, they could consider that the child just had a dyslexic moment due to anxiety as she had mixed “going to operas and eating at restaurants” when Anya was asked about what they do on weekends. But Loid also said himself that Anya is a very curious and an incredibly perspective child that she makes him feel like she can see right through him. That could give Desmond an idea that his daughter was snooping around and it led her to find out about his true identity, and Loid just had to convinced her not tell anyone about it. Desmond thinking that any chance of this probability turning out to be true endangers Yor and Anya because surely they'll be suspected. PS: don't ask me why I started blabbering all this stuff TwT I don't know either. You could say I'm somewhat similar to Deku from MHA/BNHA.
I like the last scene of three saucers in one tray. there was the scene of three saucers as well in ep3, but they were put separately and farther than this time. I felt this expression means their distance got much closer this time!!!!:) also that was so cool that Loid and Yor showed their true face(a spy and an assassin) when they got mad for crying Anya.

The handle IS attached to the kettle, it's just that for design reasons that strip of metal is not covered in plastic, unlike the rest of the handle which might be held by hand. If you check you will see that it is a lot thinner but it IS there. Just about all of the furniture and appliances are actual designs from the time period the show's aesthetic is based on.
“I want to create a world where children don’t have to cry” -loid (twilight) Forger. Yeaahhhhhh….you don’t make a child cry in front of a man who’s dedicated his entier life to that cause. Especially when it’s his child. This is the only point so far where he genuinely lost control. His conscious mind was being logical, telling himself to calm down. Subconsciously however - he moved with complete intention to commit murder. If that mosquito wasn’t there, or his conscious mind hadn’t won over in the end Swan would not be among the living lmao.
So, Loid is obviously the smartest character in Spy x Family... but in terms of pure fighting, Yor is mountains apart from Loid as seen with the Cow. She's actually the most overpowered character kinda like the John Wick, or Gojo Satoru of Spy x Family

Not one character has made me feel literal seething rage until that arrogant interview bloke came into this, him and one particular character from shield hero (you know who if you’ve seen it) are the only ones I properly hate
As someone who came from a toxic family and seeing this wonderful family (even if the “wonderful family” thing is just a facade, you can still tell that they do or start caring for each other), it made me tear up when Anya said that if this mission fails they can't be together anymore. It made me sympathize with her 'cause if I was in her shoes, I would want to stay with them, too. Also, it's even more saddening to think or when you realize Anya cried by that question because she grew up in the lab, not knowing anything about her biological parents. And after she escaped, she was adopted 4 (?) times but was returned each time. She felt lonely without having parents and spent her time longing for one but never realized she never even met her biological parents. So, that moment is when she realized how lonely she truly is.

I am going to make this a bit sadder for you with a fact both from the anime and manga. Anya is *subject 007* created in a lab (and kinda by accident/mistake) So, she has no biological parents in what the manga has shown, and she was returned to the orphanage 4 times before becoming Anya Forger. (Anya Williams, Levsky, Roshe & Klein). So for me when I first saw this episode was worse. She had no pin point or reference on what is to have loving parents to look after her. And that is what kicked in and made her burst into tears during the interview.
That piece of trash garbage guy had it easy, Loid has done hundreds of missions and hundreds of battles against the well trained for 10 years, and Yor has hundreds maybe more people on her kill count. HE"S lucky either of them kept their patience... No one, and I mean no one can ever make Anya cry if they know what's good for them.

Just a small bit of information, the nice teacher in glasses teaches "national language" (囯語). Some subs listed it as English, probably since that was the language people were reading it in, but the original made it more generic. The nasty asshole apparently teaches economics, but I am not sure because the characters in Chinese are different. The elegant grandpa teaches History (歷史) which, once again, uses the same characters.

Look, I absolutely love this show. The dynamic between Loyd, Anya, and Yor is top notch and there's no doubt about it, but Anya really irritates me sometimes. As we follow her around, the voice inside of her head sounds intelligent and well spoken, but we immediately recognize that when she opens her mouth, she's an absolute airhead. It's Irritatingly bad and quite annoying, and she knows how important getting into this particular school is since she hears loid's thoughts about it. (Obviously she doesn't care what the reason is, as long as she can continue playing SPY-FAMILY :3 with Loyd and Yor.) Either way she knows the circumstances of her mission, if she succeeds they can be a happy family, but if she fails, the consequences will lead her back to the orphanage!!!! But even after learning the gravity of the situation, she still comes off like an un-intelligent airhead with no common sense. NOW... Don't get me wrong, like I just said, they all have a fantastic family dynamic, and I love them all as character leads for this show. But she knows damn well what she needs to do, and yet she queefs it almost everytime knowing what will happen if she fails?!? Unless this particular problem gets better, I'm sure myself and many others will regretably consider dropping the show EVEN THO I truly, truly, don't want to. I suppose we will see what happens, I have faith in Anya, and the team! Aside from my gripes, Anya is the cutest little cinnamon bun I've ever seen. P.S. - That elegant loving old guy was an awesome character, and I'm so fuckin thrilled he punched that fat idiot in the face. P.P.S - That stupid spiteful fat guy is actually a well written character, because I genuinely felt pure hate for him. And felt absolute justice when he got his teeth knocked in.
While I agree with most of your comment, there’s one thing I feel I have to point out- Anya is a freaking CHILD. She’s about 4 or 5, maybe 6 at most, and a good chunk of her life has been spent in a lab, which she hated, and thus probably tried to stay away from anything related to learning or being smart or whatever- she just wants to have fun, like any other kid would. Not to mention, being able to hear thoughts is just as much of a hindrance as a help- she kinda fed off of Loid’s own nervousness, and got overwhelmed by the panicked crowds, plus heard that one of the teachers really doesn’t like her parents for no good reason, which probably made her both more determined and more stressed. Even if her life hadn’t been spent in a lab, and she wasn’t able to read minds, of *course* she’s gonna be nervous and screw things up- she’s human, and once again, a goddamn CHILD. Kids’ brains don’t work like adults’ do- even if they logically know something is important, they don’t have the world experience or maturity to really understand what that means, or what they should do to help with said important thing. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. I’m sorry if this came off as preachy in any way, it’s just a personal pet peeve of mine when people get mad at characters for being human- like, seriously? Of all the things to get mad about, you get mad about the characters not being “perfect”? Not that I’m saying that’s what you did, but I’ve seen it happen too often so it triggered me a bit. People really have no self-awareness- they get mad at characters for doing something stupid when they most likely would’ve done the exact same thing in that scenario. Anyway. Just a small bit of information, the nice teacher in glasses teaches "national language" (囯語). Some subs listed it as English, probably since that was the language people were reading it in, but the original made it more generic.
The nasty asshole apparently teaches economics, but I am not sure because the characters in Chinese are different.

Look, I absolutely love this show. The dynamic between Loyd, Anya, and Yor is top notch and there's no doubt about it, but Anya really irritates me sometimes. As we follow her around, the voice inside of her head sounds intelligent and well spoken, but we immediately recognize that when she opens her mouth, she's an absolute airhead. It's Irritatingly bad and quite annoying, and she knows how important getting into this particular school is since she hears loid's thoughts about it. (Obviously she doesn't care what the reason is, as long as she can continue playing SPY-FAMILY :3 with Loyd and Yor.) Either way she knows the circumstances of her mission, if she succeeds they can be a happy family, but if she fails, the consequences will lead her back to the orphanage!!!! But even after learning the gravity of the situation, she still comes off like an un-intelligent airhead with no common sense. NOW... Don't get me wrong, like I just said, they all have a fantastic family dynamic, and I love them all as character leads for this show. But she knows damn well what she needs to do, and yet she queefs it almost everytime knowing what will happen if she fails?!? Unless this particular problem gets better, I'm sure myself and many others will regretably consider dropping the show EVEN THO I truly, truly, don't want to. I suppose we will see what happens, I have faith in Anya, and the team! Aside from my gripes, Anya is the cutest little cinnamon bun I've ever seen.
P.S. - That elegant loving old guy was an awesome character, and I'm so fuckin thrilled he punched that fat idiot in the face.
P.P.S - That stupid spiteful fat guy is actually a well written character, because I genuinely felt pure hate for him. And felt absolute justice when he got his teeth knocked in.
While I agree with most of your comment, there’s one thing I feel I have to point out- Anya is a freaking CHILD.
She’s about 4 or 5, maybe 6 at most, and a good chunk of her life has been spent in a lab, which she hated, and thus probably tried to stay away from anything related to learning or being smart or whatever- she just wants to have fun, like any other kid would.
Not to mention, being able to hear thoughts is just as much of a hindrance as a help- she kinda fed off of Loid’s own nervousness, and got overwhelmed by the panicked crowds, plus heard that one of the teachers really doesn’t like her parents for no good reason, which probably made her both more determined and more stressed.
Even if her life hadn’t been spent in a lab, and she wasn’t able to read minds, of *course* she’s gonna be nervous and screw things up- she’s human, and once again, a goddamn CHILD.
Kids’ brains don’t work like adults’ do- even if they logically know something is important, they don’t have the world experience or maturity to really understand what that means, or what they should do to help with said important thing.

I’m sorry if this came off as preachy in any way, it’s just a personal pet peeve of mine when people get mad at characters for being human- like, seriously? Of all the things to get mad about, you get mad about the characters not being “perfect”?
Not that I’m saying that’s what you did, but I’ve seen it happen too often so it triggered me a bit. People really have no self-awareness- they get mad at characters for doing something stupid when they most likely would’ve done the exact same thing in that scenario.
Anyway.

In comedy theory, you can have a very high degree of freedom for character design, plot and background. However, as an elite spy with 10+years of experience, it is just illogical that loid did not put enough gurad or doubt on Yor. I'm desperate to read manga and find out why, but that will lead to less fun watching anime.😆
