+Azz Kam You might be able to pick up a used PC3 instead of the newer 5 for a more affordable price. Even a new PC5 is not that expensive on E Bay !!! Both will do an excellent job. One down and 2 up on the gearing front, like I have, might be a little extreme, and does hugely drop top speed. It also increases vibration and fuel consumption if you care. My advice would be to just go with a smaller (by one) counter sprocket to start with, and see how that feels. They are cheaper than rear sprockets and you might have less issues with the chain going this way first. The block off plates, as mentioned are critical to get accurate dyno readings.
the "v8" sound that you get in some bikes are because of a different cranckshaft in them called a "crossplane" crankshaft. Search for it on youtube youll see the difference

+Azz Kam ..If you do a decat along with aftermarket cans, you should really install a PC5 to get the air fuel mixtures right as It will be running too lean now and could damage your engine. Also install block off plates so you can get an accurate reading on the Dyno and install a free breathing air filter like a K and N. Bike will run much better and have noticeably nicer low to mid range response and pull. A big difference over stock. Also consider dropping a tooth off the front sprocket, as the bike has a overly long ( For street use ), first gear. This will give you a much nicer launch with less effort and general response everywhere will be way better than stock. If you do this, you should install a speedo healer to correct the speedo and Odometer. I have been through this entire process myself, so am talking from real world experience.

mmar4281990 it all depends but it's most likely because he got new pipes and didn't change his jets, air intake pods or just tune the bike after installing the pipes... Some people do this just to get that decel backfire

exactly what've done, except I used the Bazzaz ZFI TC, the R1 turns into another beast, very smooth and responsive at low rpm

Number plate is too big. Get a smaller plate and use a kitchen cupboard hinge so you can fold it easily for top speed runs

Naresh Malla you can just buy the slip on's no problem!! And if you want to get a decat mid pipe later on you can do that very easily also,

I have a Honda cbr 600rr can't make it backfire :( I heard hitting the kill switch on and off works. I have twin exhaust also
Jachorri Ray-Finley have you removed the cat converter? I find the Kill switch pop works better on older bikes with carburettors.
