One thing I notice about a lot of American turbo builds, is that you don't run an Earls inline oil filter on the turbo feed lines. Such a basic part that saves turbos if your engine starts munching it's self away and putting metal into the oil.
Yeah most don't run them, because then there is the risk of starving the bearing if the filter plugs. So it's kind of a lose lose situation if you run them or not when you have particles present in the oil.
Yeah here almost every car that has a filter on the oil line gets clogged and needs to be removed . Either from oil change intervals being to long. Or oil boiling in the line by not letting car idle long enough after driving .
Love your videos man! You have some serious power between those two cars! What do you do for a living to fund this crazy cat hobby if you don’t mind me asking?
I hear you. I will never run upgraded turbos or any kind of upgraded FI without building a motor again. The worst feeling ever is driving a powerful car knowing that every WOT hit speeds up the timebomb.
Hi Neil, neither of my cars are in my possession. I am hoping to have the Porsche back by next weekend and the Lambo the weekend after that. As soon as I get them back I’ll get back to uploading. Thanks for checking in. 🙏
My experience with my last UGR kit was average. I would have gone back for an average price, but that wasn’t the case so I moved on. But every company has shortcomings somewhere. I’ve been in this game for too long so my comment is made with confidence. Lol.
What was the compression numbers? Mind doing a video on the tear down and engine rebuild? With Details like if the compression is changing. Try to keep peak torque down.
Compression numbers were 170-180 psi on 8 cylinders, and I believe about 120 on the other 2. Yes, torque kills. Lol. We will keep it down as much as we can. 👍 I’ll try to get as much info on the engine build.
Damn bro that sucks but I think it's smart going on and handling it now instead of running it till it really blows up. A smooth 1250whp is gonna be perfect generally dogging just about everything that comes your way lol Though do you ever miss that absurd 2R power?
@@BoostITFORward Ha! I can only imagine how scary that kind of power on the street is, and reliability being a problem especially as much work as you put in with this thing. Can't wait to see it back up and running faster than ever
Was kind of hoping you'd have a running grand total on your build at the end, including the turbo kit, fuel, clutch work, tuning, ecu, and engine build. Curious how it's adding up in comparison to an UR, DP, or Heffner stage 3+ at ~$104k (1150whp pump, 1350whp ms109). Who is doing the engine assembly? Awesome that it will completed within 6 weeks without scheduling ahead!
Funny you say that, I just went back to rewatch that one. Looks like you are near $106k with the new engine build now. Interesting it ended up getting right up there with the "3 big ones", neat you got to do it in stages though. 👌
@@matpatte keep in mind the posted prices from the Big 3 are "bait prices" a stg3+ for UR is $140 by the time you get out of there. Have a friend who just did it.
@@bryanachee7133 I have an UR stage 3 with race heads build. If your car needs some parts replaced, or you add wheels, Toyo's, wings, suspension, etc, then yes it's going to start adding up quickly on top of the package price.
really like this guy being transparent so im aloud to say this, if u close your eyes and listen to him, u could almost picture a sesame street puppet talk LOL :P
Why not upgrade the gears? I don’t know the limitations of the gears in the lambo trans but you’re limited to 800wtq in the GTR trans on stock gears. Saw you had 762wtq on your car now. Sounds like that’s going up to atleast 800wtq with the new build and you’re not going to be reliable at that torque level for long.
Please let us know the cause of the failure. Looks like headgasket to me . Headstuds and maybe copper gaskets and o-ringing if you want to go all out. Anyways goodluck on getting it back in two weeks .
Hey Tim, unfortunately both of my cars are in the shop, and have been for some time (since I stopped posting vids). I am sure I can come up with some type of content to post, but being that I don’t have my cars it wouldn’t be exciting and/or informative, and I don’t want to upload just for the sake of uploading. As soon as I get at least one of the cars back in my possession, the vids will start rolling again. I hope to have BOTH back by the end of May. Stay tuned!!! Thanks for checking in. 😊
BoostITFORward thanks for the update. You have many fans that look forward to your return. Also, good move on not pumping out garbage videos just for the sake of uploading, a fellow Michigander with a green hellcat does that daily. And it’s not good.
Seems pretty reasonable price wise.
If you go to the best shop (ugr) and do a full warrantied build 1300whp, it’s gonna be 150k + easily
Correct.
Pretty sure he had a UGR Gallardo before this
Yes but that is with everything around like turbos, ecu etc. Fadi already has alot of money onvested in this car. But for sure, ugr is expensive.
Always great content. Very informative
Whoa that’s a lot of cash I don’t even think I’d have enough after selling some organs. Great video as always and informative
Appreciate the honest numbers man. Best of luck on the new setup.
Thanks Kevin!
Hi Fadi I hope everything become great for you
you really deserve the best
Thank you brother. 🙏

Great information brotha! You are out here in Michigan aren't you? I swear i've seen you around
Yup, I am from MI. 🙌
Wow I thought it would be a lot more. Good luck.
Sorry to hear, Maybe also O-ring the block with piano wire, and if available - stiffer valve springs .

You should have went with C8 Corvette and twin turbo it , would have you saved lots of money and C8 looks better
Damn that sucks bro. Hit me up for Milan or cruising when the weather gets nicer. I’m here in West Bloomfield, I have a hellcat Charger.
Great video 👍🏻🚀🚀🚀
My man. 👍
BoostITFORward that car is going to be too fastttttt now 🏎
Hi Fadi. What's been going on? No update on how you like the TTS and the lambo rebuild? Neil

Boy, you must be missing them. Ok good luck and looking forward to seeing how it all turns out.
How much more would have it been if you went with a billet block?
A whole lot more. Lol. Like double the price (at the very least) of what you saw in the video.
@@BoostITFORward thanks I understand why you went this route then.
What was the reason for not going with ugr this time? I think stage 3 with installation coast 99k!

probably just needs a new head gasket
I am pretty sure it’s worn out cylinder walls. We will see shortly.

Thanks bro. I don’t miss the 2R power because 1) it was scary as shit and 2) it was equally unreliable as it was scary. Lol

As soon as I get a USD invoice from ES. Hoping within a few days! 👍

I’ve had an underground car before. It was time to move on.
Shocker
Hey man why dont you do like a 1500 hp build?
Your almost there......so why not?
Because the transmission... You actually saw the whole video?
Kennedy that's what I mean.... might as well go the whole way to the 1500 hp build beef up the tranny also.

Nothing cheap about a lambo... But for it being a Lambo build it's "cheap".
Torque kills gears not hp
40k for a built engine. I could just imagine a billet block build
You have to sell your children and organs for those. Plus cash your 401k
45k just for the block
Next time stop talking and jus show your huracan
