I do agree that it sucks when ever something isn’t good because cool stuff feels pointless if it’s immediately deemed useless. I like the designs of everything but apparently they suck
just play the game however you want, this is hardly a competition lmao. i've beaten ds2 with the ladle because of a bet, it wasnt ideal but a lot easier than people might think.

And Shattering Crystal is essentially a magic shotgun that does some nice damage on larger enemies, and also helps stance break pretty quick.
All I can say is that I played this game in offline mode, I never really checked the internet for things other than quests. true as a magic player, there's like 3 spells per game that is actually worth using and the rest are soul arrow but worse, spells that eat all your mana (spell slots pls) and take 50 years to cast vs ones that do way more damage faster for way less mana, etc
It's bound to happen when so many spells are basically "do damage". If they just added utility to some spells they'd probably not be seen as a downgrade.
"Why are you so good at this I hate you" 🤣🤣🤣 in tears laughing. Based ster W. The Crystal rain spell is actually fun and useful in specific instances like a small room especially in PvP and that's definitely enough justification for it to exist.
every single weapon is viable for pve in every souls game. min maxing for simple pve is lame, just have fun. 'viable' weapons and metas are only for when youre up against other people and then its a very different game.

Jerma also jumping off the cliff just because Ster did perfectly exemplifies the entirety of the rest of the video
Mother: "Would you jump off a cliff just because y-"
Jerma: *already off the cliff*
the guy at 1:53 who said "meet the glintstones" you're my hero
Ster jumping off the cliff and jerma following is so poetic for this discussion
lemming andy
Ster is so right. Jerma played the game with a reddit build
The anti-reddit build
The cat toy build
Full Moon, noted Meta Reddit Spell,
Nah, he played Bimbo build.

Jerma.
I did not consent to this comment. You'll be hearing from my lawyers
No goddamn way
I read your name as "buttholeinthedrywall"
How can Ster say something so brave yet so true
My sides left the Lands Between when I read the "He lost to barfdrinker!" during the PVP part
jerma saying "you're the chat guy" weirdly reminds me of those ai voice biden and trump videos
"Im the chad doge and you are a little tiny doge"
Redditors b like: "there are only two options in gaming, metaslave and literally unplayable"
Jerma used the Astel Weapon the whole game, I don’t think he follows any meta.
For some reason the video wasn't making any sound at first and I assumed Jerma was just doing that.
I fed a machine learning algorithm the entire Elden Ring subreddit, and out came Jerma's opinion /j
Stop writing on the walls! Sters mom probably

that's not true at all unless you're playing super super high level pvp, and even at that level it can be fairly varied

Rock Sling fucking rules, WTF is Jerma talking about?
ster is kinda right, BUT the crystal sorceries really do suck terribly 🤣
its amazing how jerma can bring up a great point and then immediately ruin it by miscategorizing the crystal sorceries as the gravity spells

OK but like jerma is literally wrong, 90% of spells are good if you know how to use them
