This is somehow the perfect clip to show someone to explain the ster jerma dynamic. Ster asks a very simple question with a seemingly obvious answer, Jerma answers the question in an insane roundabout way, Ster then interrupts with an equally insane counterpoint that somehow makes Jermas statement seem more ridiculous than it is, usually in the form of a loaded statement or extreme hypothetical. Jerma then elaborates on his previous point in an even more bizarre way, and Ster continues to goad him until eventually they have gone around in circles for 20 minutes talking about bathroom habits
What a wild ride
It's one of those things that you spend enough time in a VC with someone you know exactly how to push their buttons
You can see when Ster brings up "do you take baths" and Jerma says "yes," Ster just pauses and sits in silence for several seconds to see if Jerma will elaborate and dig himself into a hole, then realizes he has to continue the conversation and brings up bath bombs.

jerma has 2 showers, one he gets into to clean himself in preperation for the second shower, so the second shower isnt dirty, then he has to clean the first shower which requires him to get back into the second which is now dirty so jerma is now stuck in a loop

I think in recent years he's just started to care a lot more about his personal hygiene and general self care. Like as he gets older and tries to deal with his health he's trying to be more careful and respectful with himself. Not like when he was younger and ate an entire sleeve of Oreos. I suspect in the era of bathroom gaming he probably did not wash his hands twice

Im with Jerma on this one, I literally wash my hands every single time I am remotely near a sink in my house or apartment simply because I dont remember what exactly I touched and it's just the principle of having clean hands, like what if I want to get a snack? Ster not even washing his hands AFTER sometimes is literally insane to me, that's psychopath level stuff
Exactly, it's basic hygiene to take advantage of the soap & water if you're near it. Doing it after bathroom breaks just means you'll wash your hands at least a couple times a day. In fairness, with the way Ster acts when recorded, I'm not at all surprised to hear about his hygiene habits.
The thought of touching the most important part of my body to aim it without washing first is gross to me.

I see this statement so often on the internet, so let me please finally put this discussion to bed. If you had to fight a 100 kittens or 1 pit bull which would you choose to fight? The bacteria that are on your hands aren't as dangerous as the ones that come out of your colon especially when you're sick or worse. Think about all the pathogens you know, now find one that usually inhabits the hands over any other place in the body. You won't find any.
Bacteria =/= bad, you have bacteria living in and on you and you eat them every day. They are the reason you are alive. Pathogens however, suck. Washing your hands is to get rid of pathogens, not just bacteria.
I hope anyone who was confused about this now knows why this isn't an argument for not washing your hands after going to the bathroom.
