Thanks for the information doctor. My first ivf cycle failed despite of good quality embryo & good endometrium. The very next comment what the assistant doctor told me after seeing the hcg result was my uterus has rejected the embryo & it's not receptive- I felt devastated after hearing it as I was emotionally & physically drained at that time. Felt that everything happened because of my poor uterus! Your video has given me confidence to move forward with another cycle.
That's rubbish - the uterus cannot reject an embryo !

A failed IVF cycle is not the end of the world. You can learn from it to improve your chances of success in your next cycle!

I’m from the U.K. and one thing I wish they put more emphasise on is the fact that an embryo may not survive the thaw stage. I asked them about this and they always seem to shrug it off like “oh that’s rare, our freezing techniques are 98% effective” well on the day of my transfer I got a phone call to say the first embryo they thawed didn’t survive and they were going to take another one out. So…really they need explain this to patients more because it does happen.

My sister had her frozen embryo transfer and hcg showed negative for pregnancy. She has one more embryo left .What is the best time to get next one transferred?? Her lining was 14mm and grade 5bb embryo.
She also had uti post transfer is it because of that the embryo didn't implant? Doctor put her on antibiotics

Thanks for your guidance doc, its been greatly helpful. Its 16 days after my fresh embryo transfer, i did a blood test on day 14 in a lab which came back negative,😢 but im yet to bleed. Please is this normal?

Great information and I am glad that I found you🙏. There were 5 embryos that were tested for PGT A and 5 were found to be Aneuploids, so our process failed before rooting only. My doctor asked to come blood screening. What are our next options??

Hi Doc, I did a transfer of two Grade 4AA Day 5 embryos and the Blood test came back negative at day 12 post transfer. However after I got my period and did the scan, the Doctor said that it seems like I had an implantation but it was an early miscarriage. What could be the cause of this ?

The commonest reason for a miscarriage is a genetic abnormality in the fetus, and this is Nature's defense mechanism, to prevent the birth of an abnormal baby. While these defects are often random, they are commoner in older women.
This is because these eggs have more genetic abnormalities, because they have "aged" and have genetic defects, which be do not yet have the technology to be able to screen for.

Hello Dr! Thank you for your interesting videos! I am 36yo, have PCOS with irregular periods and my husband's problem was OAT. We made 10 good-quality blastocysts. I had 2 failed FETs with high quality embryos (1st 4AB-biochemical pregnancy, 2nd 4AA and 4AB negative βHCG). One month before each FET cycle my doctor puts me in combination contraceptive pill. Is it necessary? Could the pill be associated with the implantation failures? Now my doctor suggested to have a 2-month course of contraceptive pill before next embryotransfer and an hysteroscopy with scratching in the next month. What is your opinion? I am afraid that by taking contraceptive pills for 2-3 months before a new embryotranfer may adversely affect my chances of success.
Also, what is your opinion about steroids use for FET? We have not tried them

Doctor, I have conceived twins via IVF.Doctor advised cervical cerclage as my cervix length is 3.2mm.Now I am in 17th week.I got a episode of light pink spotting once for 10min.Doctor said placenta is downwards and postponed the stitches for two weeks.Does placenta move up by itself.? If it moves then is cerclage safe procedure for my case

Sir My IVF Failed this month , It was a FET , 1 5day blastocyst, 1 early blastocyst and 1 8 cells Embryo was transferred , but they never told be about the grade of Embryos nor they advised to perform any blood test before transfer. why this happened ?

I absolutely agree with you. I have 8 failured and i suspected that the eggs who have problems not my uterus. I been in poland for 4.5 years same doctor and clinic and all these embryos were failed. I still have 4 frozen embryos and my doctor said I can contact him when im ready for the next treatment and embryo transfer. How he sounded after each failured embryo trasfer was like cold and waiting for the next payment only. And another clinic in Pland who treated me like shit. He took lots of samples from me I paid paid lots of this examines and in the end he just put the camera in my,,,, with condom but no liquid, it hurts! And after i paid left and right he said you are too old and we dont help old people in this case. Then thye booked me in their clinic and made me fly to poland in this clinic just to rob me for tests and after 2 days they gave me all left and right bills. then later telling me they never help older people. I am 49 and my lining was 9 mm. its good he said but, no! you cant get help here he said. This clinics must close I think so.

Hello doctor, I did my first treatment and I had 18 follicles and on the day of the extraction only two eggs were extracted and one of them was fertilized and so was the second time I had 20 follicles and only 3 eggs were extracted My question is why are there empty follicles and what can be done? thank u.
Empty follicle syndrome is usually an iatrogenic problem ( created by the doctor)

Hello sir... I had miscarried in 12 weeks of ivf pregnancy withh donor eggs(24yrs)..i am 37 yrs old... I started bleeding excessively suddenly at night and was taken to hospital .... After miscarriage I did microarray and FISH tests which came normal..... What can be the possible reasons of miscarriage...should I go for another round of ivf?

The surgery was a bad idea.
Unnecessary surgery reduces your fertility as normal ovarian tissue is also removed along with the cyst wall, thus reducing your ovarian reserve.
The cyst should have been aspirated ( punctured) under ultrasound guidance !

@@ivfexpert sir they didnt give those details. After pick up we got a summary about the embroys. Got 17 eggs. Among them only 11 fertilized and 8 embroys survived. 3 of them were used in first cycle. And then only 2 survived for this cycle.during et 2 injections were taken susten and one i dont know correctly eviparin i tjink. In between one hcg incjection was taken

I had hydrsalphinx both tubes and endometriosis stage 4 for which i undergone tubal clipping and all cyst removed .it was done after my egg pickup on dec ..and my embryo transfer was done on march 27 wr had only 3 embroys from the first pickup and et at time was 10 and p4 value was 12.8 ...does p4 is low..hcg was checked 7 days after transfer and it was 13 ..dctr said implantation might have happended and she gave me hcg shots after that..after 14 days when i checked hcg was 26..and on nxt day again 13 ...what may be the cause of ivf failure ..will i not be able to concieve

Find a clinic which does only Day 5 ( blastocyst) transfers and provides embryo photos routinely to all their patients

My afc is 6 in left ovary and 4 in right ovary.
My fsh count is 7.41mIU/ml.
I had my frozen embryo transfer of 5 days on 15 jan. 2 eggs were transferred of AA quality and ET was 7.9. today I got my beta hcg report as 5.12. Doctor said it’s fail stop medicine but I don’t have periods yet and I have cramps still. I am very disheartened. Please suggest.

Sir, I need ur opinion. I had a failed IVF recently and I'm in extreme mental trauma. I have mild endometriosis in my right ovary, hypothyroidism and my AMH level is 1.98. I am 32 years old. Upon stimulation only 4 follicles were collected from my right ovary and the left ovary didn't make any follicles. Day 3 embryo transfer was done. I have been trying to conceive from last 3 years and don't have any baby yet.

You are better off changing your clinic rather than using donor eggs or donor sperm !

@@ivfexpert sir 6eggs received, out of them only one m2 day 3 embryo is there that is not a good quality. But I transferred that one embryo on 25/10. Dr. Told me it was high risk it not implant or go to 3 months.

Thank you Dr. I'm glad I found this page. I had a successful transfer with 2 embryos, (1 early blastocyst and 1 blastocyst) with a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks later. And then a week later I started having abdominal cramps and then came spotting with altered blood. Went for a pelvic scan at 4 weeks post transfer and was told there was a sac approximately 4 weeks and 5 days. I had a repeat scan a week later and I was so devastated to hear it was an empty gestational sac. I couldn't figure out what went wrong because I was on best rest for most of the time and I still lost the pregnancy. Is there anything I can do better as I plan to repeat another cycle again by the end of this month? As at the time of my last transfer, my endometrium was 14mm thick.
The commonest reason for a miscarriage is a genetic abnormality in the fetus, and this is Nature's defense mechanism, to prevent the birth of an abnormal baby. While these defects are often random, they are commoner in older women.
This is because these eggs have more genetic abnormalities, because they have "aged" and have genetic defects, which be do not yet have the technology to be able to screen for.

Hello sir. I had 3 day 3 embryo transfer (icsi) on 31 march and did beta hcg test on 14 april with value 1.20 the doctor has asked me to continue the medicine and take a retest after two days.
Is there still any hope for me?
