Hope you enjoyed the speedy version of the last 3.5 months. It's crazy to think that not that long ago this van was just a wild idea, that we weren't sure we could even pull off. However, the end result is something we're very proud of!
What an amazing build, and great to see it take shape in one video. You should both be very proud of yourselves. You've done the hard work now, and made such a great home with a window on the world outside. Enjoy your travels, wherever they take you.
that is a stunning build, you can certainly be proud of the work you have done, now time to get out there and enjoy the fruits of your labour, safe travels.
Great to see it come to life, looks incredible inside, it looks so homely! We're in the process of thinking about our second build too and been oohing and aahing over a Luton. Happy travels and maybe see you on the road again and give you a honk!!
oh my gosh, this is definitely one of my fave van builds! Beautiful, beautiful. Love the layout, the colour choices, the wallpaper. Well done to you both. Many blessed adventures to you :)
Looks great!!! Maybe its obvious to others but what make and model van is it? Also have you had any issues with water ingress around the cab and box joints? Thanks.
Thank you! Ooh I’m not sure of the dimensions but the “living area” from the back of the cab to the shutter is 4 meters, 2.3 meters tall inside and just over 2 meters wide. It’s 3.2 meters tall outside!
Do you guys happen to know what year this Peugeot Boxer Luton box van is? I come from the United States, in Upstate New York, where the Peugeot Boxer, along with the Fiat Ducato, the current generation Vauxhall Movano & the Citroën Relay are known as the Ram ProMaster.
It’s called a Luton van - not sure where you’re from but I don’t think they exist in America? I’m not sure of the exact dimensions but the “living area” from the back of the cab to the shutter is 4 meters, 2.3 meters tall inside and just over 2 meters wide. It’s 3.2 meters tall outside!
Hi. I was thinking about having something similar in the future but have been worried about the weight? Do you know what weight it was before the conversation and what the weight is now? Regards
Thanks for watching! Yes, we weighed it before and I believe it was 2.2 tonnes if I remember correctly. Then after it was 3.4 with full tanks and us in. We knew it would be a close call to keep it under 3.5 so everything was built with the weight in mind. All the plywood is Poplar which weighs 60% of normal ply and I built all the units using 12mm ply.
Ok, looks great, but am going to have to save this, come back and change the play back speed, I realise most folk wont sit for long and just want to see the end products, but I need to see how you did 'stuff' like the frame and sealing between the box and cab, if the cooker is gas or electric, what the heating is, what leisure battery/s you used, any solar? toilet? etc etc ;) so 'I'll be back'' ;)

Great build, similar to mine, right down to the roller shutter at the back.
Great to see it come to life, looks incredible inside, it looks so homely! We're in the process of thinking about our second build too and been oohing and aahing over a Luton. Happy travels and maybe see you on the road again and give you a honk!!
It’s honestly such a drastic difference from the panel van! There’s just so much space now. Definitely consider it 😊
oh my gosh, this is definitely one of my fave van builds! Beautiful, beautiful. Love the layout, the colour choices, the wallpaper. Well done to you both. Many blessed adventures to you :)
OMG WOW! This is an exceptional build. You two absolutely smashed it and created such a wonderful home on wheels!
Wow! What an upgrade! Beautiful job

Thank you, we’re very pleased with your retractable door. It makes such a difference!
This looks like such a nice conversion 😊 will you be using your diy toilet for this build?
Excellent, great job. 👍🏻
Thanks!
Absolutely beautiful. Is this a Medium Wheel Base or long? ❤
Looks great!!! Maybe its obvious to others but what make and model van is it? Also have you had any issues with water ingress around the cab and box joints? Thanks.
Brilliant!
Wow, that turned out really nice!! What are the dimensions of the box? Your layout is really clever!
Thank you! Ooh I’m not sure of the dimensions but the “living area” from the back of the cab to the shutter is 4 meters, 2.3 meters tall inside and just over 2 meters wide. It’s 3.2 meters tall outside!
@@OurWildHorizons Oh, i thought it was bigger. But i guess the well planned layout makes it look bigger than it actually is!
Hey,amazing conversion! How much weight did you have left to play with?
Cheers.

Ours in 2016 - I used to watched the US van lifers in rams and wonder what they were over here!
I like your design.
Hi. Can you please let me know what van is it and what are the external and internal box dimensions? Regards

Ridiculous job, better than most uk houses to rent lol. Amazing!
Hah, we agree! Couldn’t imagine renting somewhere at all now!

What kind of "van" is this? Did you show the outside of it or did I miss?
Can you post playlist please.
Don’t have access to it anymore but you can use Shazam to identify the songs 😊
I was like how can I van be so big inside and then I was like ohhhhhhhhh. That is what we call a lorry.
Haha, it's certainly a good size! Luton vans are the great if you want the extra space without the full lorry license!
Topper most of the popper most 😁 xxxxxxxx
Привет, а какая нужна категория водительского удостоверения для езды на автомобиле этом? Категория В?
My best fave part was watching the games draw go in 😂
Wouldn't it be cool if the mirror was actually a secret door to a mini cupboard 💭
way to fast to be able to enjoy!
There’s a button for that, slows it down 🤗
