As a person in my fifties, and looking back, this is exactly how you should live and experience the early part of your life, just wonderful and hope he inspires many more to do this, wish very much that I had , as later life can make it too complicated!
He cannot be 19 …..He is so mature, built everything himself, did the car mechanics and is so well spoken. I am super impressed, love the van but still can’t believe he is so yohng
Absolutely 💯. Lovely truck..A burner is essential, imo, it not only gives you heat, it gives you a life and soul to a home . The hearth, and hot water too ! I love my burner and wouldn't live in a van without one 😊
Fantastic Max,very nice build,i,am 60 years old and travelled extensivly myself go out there and see the world, experience and meet people from all over, happy safe travels many greetings from Stockholm Sweden good luck
My compliments young man. You have taken ownership on your life and are having a fantastic time. You have spent about $9,000 you say. Many people would be budgeting for 10 times that and would still come up short. Keep on being yourself.
Inspirational. I love your reclaimed items. My husband built the interior of a derelict 1965 caravan with several reclaimed items, and they were a reminder of the donors. We travelled to Scotland and the south east in it. For years we displayed it at rallies. Enjoy your home, Max.
Lovely van you have Max. You have personally built it to your taste and made it into a cosy home having been born into the van lifestyle from your parents. Have you thought of getting yourself a little dog 'or cat' for some company as well. Best wishes to you on your plans for the future and future travels.
Young blokes like this give me some hope for the future, he's not expecting papa government to give him stuff but is giving it a go himself. 👍 love the build, it's real and not some glossy condo style.
Hi Max, I watched another one of your vids where you said you have made a home made lithium 24v battery. I’ve always used Bimble, but I can’t afford the batteries at the moment. Really appreciate it i could pick your brain
That's the way to do it. No need for fancy (aka expensive) gear. I do enjoy your videos, long may they continue! A question, I'm living in Eastern Europe at the moment and considering returning to the UK. I live on the road, free to roam, low cost of living etc, am I being realistic in thinkng about coming back? Is it as complicated / hard as (non-travelling) people tell me?
Is about 20cm away from the wood kitchen and about 15 cm from the wall which is fire board not wood and meets varicose regulations. it’s been fine for 5 months😂
When you go the vinyl route but don’t clean the surface properly then use dark vinyl which traps light photons and heats up. When it heats up the atoms get excited stuff gets stretchy. When it gets stretchy it pulls and the adhesive gives. Any part without a proper contact bond exhibits the blistering you see here. I thought he said he used a roller on it. I would advise a roller on this application. It’s not a Ferrari paint job just slap 5 coats of boat paint on it and keep it moving. lol
Love the access to the roof. You could get some aluminum grates and put them over the solar panels so you could walk around up top maybe put some light chairs and chillout.
could you make some playlists for your videos? or just put all of them into one? i like to put on playlists like watching a tv channel. and liveration is one of my fav channels
you can buy and addon electric in hub wheel motor kit ,2 motors ,2 controller and contactors and cycle analyst for 3000 ,then can make solar panels all pull out ,so can double amount of panels, and could start of useing a few deep cycle batteries ,
The government created this ! Giving all our council homes to middle eastern men. Bringing in cheap labour. Banks lending money at high interest after a 20 years off daily struggle you never end up owning the home. Robbing Peter to pay Paul's pension. Just a big ponsie scheme
How did you sell the vans that you built before? Were they commissions/orders or you built a "standard" camper and put it online somwhere? Cheers, Respect!
Aye it sure is a crackin life, am 78, gotta ex open reach box van, stable door, multifuel burner, park where i want to, dont use campsites National Trust carparks are very good for a few days even a week, never been told to move on, just use ur head, beats bein in a house, am in south wales
Easier but you can’t cook on a diesel heater, and you can’t get diesel from your parkup, I can be at a spot for a month and have the van at 30 degrees and cook in it and heat water all for free. Not for everyone but I wouldn’t change it
😂😂Gas bottke burner, good grief that brings back memories.... every winter some poor soul on sitecwould be out cutting , and screwing andcweldingvan old bottle up 😂😂❤
Max has just such an wonderful mindset, rarely seen in youngsters nowadays! I am so impressed with him.
Love it Max , 19 ✅. You have great parents, gave you right mindset

I agree. Im 62 and at 16 I was homeless with 2 jobs. This is a good way to start life and save money and be happy.
Amazing, 19 and done all that. Watching this video made me forget my cynicism for the world. There is hope :)
I love this lad's attitude.
Get out there and live life, don't waste your time and money on flash brands and shit.

That bade me cry (good way) for so many reasons. From someone gone from 4 bed bricks to narrowboat the to static in pembrokeshire. All my own choice
Nice job on the van. Im just not sold on the idea of the wood burner surrounded with wood. 👍🙏

Aye the “stealth” side now has a window. I gave up with that as I only get positive comments about the van

I haven't seen a single live ration in any of these videos, back to Steve 1989, he has loads of rations!
You know those chinese diesel heaters , the ones that are less than £100. I have one. It’s so worth it , easier than hunting for wood.
