Witsit "coffee cup matches the flat earth model and all the math is perfect" Also Austin "we don't have a model, just concepts" He's admitted there's no flat earth map that matches Australia, yet he's modeled out the sun??? How do people fall for this
Witsit's argument that radio waves prove a flat earth is completely false. Any ham radio operator who has operated in the 1.8 - 39 mhz frequency range knows that regardless of the power level of the transmitter you cannot reach all over the world on every frequency all the time. How far you can transmit depends on the ionospheric conditions on any given day and time of day. For example when sunspot activity is high and during midday when ionospheric refraction is high on a frequency of 29 mhz I might be able to send a signal thousands of miles to all over the world , Europe, Asia, Africa, etc. But later in the evening on that same frequency I might the distance I can reach might dwindle down to 500 miles and later at night maybe 75-100 miles at best or line of sight. If the earth were flat I should be able to reach out thousands of miles all the time. On a lower frequency, say about 3.5mhz I might be able to cover a distance of 100 - 300 miles during the day but later at night my range might extend to 500 - 1000 miles on the lower frequency. So basically Witsit is either ignorant and doesn't know any of this or else he is a liar.
Its kind of a shame you didnt cover the q&a section, because i asked the participants to derive 9.81 m/s^2, and whatsit crapped his pants. It was glorious.

Funny thing is that if Austin was arguing in good faith, he would have the calculations for the hidden height on his slide, such that it was readily apparent what is and isn't being accounted for. But since flerfs cannot math, they have to rely on a calculator they don't understand. Also it really strikes a nerve when he called it "the official calculator". Official how? What?
Was just watching clips and people talking about that mathematician telling Terrance Howard how wrong he was and why to his face, and it makes me sad how many people in the comments were still defending his obvious misunderstanding of even the basics of math and science. This is why we can't have nice things.
21:04, tbh if I was a flat earther and nothing else about me and the way I thought changed (which it would since I would be stupid enough to believe in a flat earth, but let's roll with it) I think this moment alone would convince me that the earth is round
"We have hundreds of pilots that say that the earth is flat." Yet when asked to provide evidence of that statement. The flerf just talks about something else.
Yeah, I can't seem to find them naming one pilot. Actually there was one guy who claimed to be a pilot and he even made a video which showed his pilot credentials. Allegedly. He might have stolen them or something...
@@Heracles_FE ROFL ahh Taboo and so called pilots. Its must be so easy to fool flerfs into believing just about anything. Flerfs are really, really stupid. So yeah, flerfs will believe any amount of crap that is shown to them. But when faced with reality, flefs just run away.
@@stylesrjthere's actually a local pilot thats a flerf. Mind boggling. He has a pilot license fo fly in local situations. Bob, the 15 degree per hour guy who used the gyroscope claimed he was a commercial pilot but was debunked immediately.

another thing the Earth Curve Calculator says that Austin (and apparently you) have ignored. "• the earth is a convex sphere of radius 6371 kilometers" i know he's just gonna ignore it. but i just find it funny that the calculator he uses to "prove" flat earth, affirms the opposite. "default position" my ass
My favourite Flat Earth debunk series is the Polish-language 5-part RUclips series "Płaska Ziemia: Poważna Analiza" (Flat Earth: Serious Analysis) by the Polish RUclips Channel, SciFun. It goes in balls-deep into the conspiracy theory more than any English-language Flat Earth debunk video. It has English captions added by manually by a human not auto-generated and the title gets translated when your settings are set to English. Anyway, SciFun was attacked by Polish Flat-Earthers and it was funny how they failed at that.
I mean, you could fill an entire set of encyclopedias with the knowledge they lack; and that's just with the knowledge we _know._ -There's still an infinite number of things the human species has yet to discover, but that's another topic altogether.-
Regarding Pic Gaspard, that photo actually shows curvature. The picture was taken from Pic de Finestrelles at a height of 2,820m. In the photo, the Grand Ferrand (@2,758m high) appears taller than Gaspar (@3867m high) despite Ferrand being 51km closer. On a flat plane, at no point would an object that was shorter than both the observer and the target appear taller than the target.
Love this! Most of the "flat earth debunking" videos don't go into this much detail about the fallacies in flat earthers' arguments, how science actually works, how logic works or how evidence should be analyzed. Great job Birdman!
idk...i've learned a lot from mctoon. he does a lot of live debates and related live streams, but also pre-recorded stuff on his _conspiracy toonz_ channel (formerly owned by conspiracy catz, who's also a legendary debunker)
Love Dave, the man got me through my organic chemistry classes. He's a very intelligent guy, and I had no idea he was on this journey of debating flat earthers, but he's got even more of my respect now.
ahhh listening to Birdman debunk the idiocy of conspiracy theorists is great background noise when I work on artwork. Keep up the work dude, love your content!!!
It's so funny seeing this guy's eyes widen when he gets caught up for his bullshit. Like there are moments throughout this whole thing where you can see him perk up like a deer in headlights when he gets driven off his script. It's so fucking funny when idiots get caught. Thanks for another good one Birdman XD
i've realized the problem, saw a video of a historian at WGS, younger people now have all the knowledge but not the foundation to understand that knowledge because they way they think is different, not saying it's bad or good, but that's the basis, imagine if someone went back in time, and told Ussain Bolt, he would beat the record for the hundred meter dash in the Olympics, would he still put in the effort he did to achieve that?
I genuinely don't know if there's a dumber "conspiracy" "theory" than Flat Earthers. There are no theories, and I can't figure out what the conspiracy is. Why are people pretending the Earth is flat? Is it to sell globes!?
I'd guess it's just the idea of people somewhere being out to get them (even though there's nothing in it for these imaginary people, as you say). It's the thought that counts. Then grifters pretend that this just the tip of the iceberg, and people who fall for this get sucked into other rubbish. It's easy to pretend the flat earth is connected to everything when you never have to prove what this has to do with anything, you just have to say "See? It's just like the shape of the earth, they think you'll believe any garbage they throw at you!"
That's always my problem with this: what's the POINT?? I don't believe other conspiracies, but I can at least see the logic and the motive behind them. Getting more money, gaining power, etc etc. But like....what would be the goal behind pretending the earth is round when it's actually flat? What does anyone gain from a massive conspiracy to convince the public of this? I can't see how this benefits any of the powers that be. At least flat earthers are clearly either grifters (like Austin) or idiots who want to feel smart by "figuring out" the big global conspiracy, which is annoying but makes sense. But they're fringe because there's no meat on these bones.
I kid you not; they think it’s to embezzle NASA’s budget. Which is a hilariously small amount of money compared to the effort needed to pull it off. Or Satan. I’m not joking, Satan wants to trick people into believing a globe to weaken literal interpretations of the Bible.
well you see because if we use maps then they would profit by remaking them so often due to roads so people defaulted to a false shape and ended up making a fake Earth, and schools made everyone believe that was the actual shape of the planet by indoctrinating people to make more and more globes so that...I can't keep up this character anymore, it's hard to be an idiot.
Flat earthers failed science class and are still upset about it. Any prominent figure of that field should show their report cards from their high school if they even made it that far.
It's so painfully clear that they don't understand any of the scientific principles and studies that have shown the earth to be round, and therefore they really think the rest of us will be as easily convinced as they were. They live in this fantasy where they're super smart and we're a bunch of idiots, and honestly it's kinda funny, but also these people and their complete inability to understand basic concepts can vote, and that's scary 😂
Dave just put out a video how flat earthers desperately try to evade a free trip to Antarctica lol, this is like a recap for me now before i watch that next 😂😂
As someone who is admittedly exhausting to argue with because i am so adament about getting in the weeds and knowing all there is to know about my beliefs, hearing someone assert "i'm right but don't ask me questions" fucking blows me away. I WISH people would ask me questions when im having an argument because i have answers that i believe make me right, or at least more right. You don't get to walk into a debate with the goal of "proving the other guy wrong, but not advocating my position". Does he just assume that if he somehow debunked the globe model that would ONLY leave some version of flat earth? I know the answer is he's either stupid or some sort of grifter but in the latter case you could at least make an attempt at looking like you have any convictions?
I'm new to this channel and I subbed before watching any of these videos. Just scrolling through the videos and reading the titles, I was like... oh yeah. This is what I NEED.
My home state mentioned in a another Th3Birdman video? Epic. Loved it. Though if I did have one minor complaint would be the pronunciation of Helena. I’ve seen others pronounce the name as Hel-LAY-na before however most people here in Montana, and a more commonly pronouncation would be HELL-e-na. Not really that big a of deal though, still loved the video.
After his stance on Dr. Disrespect posted his long Twitter statement I dont know how anyone can. Ue doubled down essentially. I lost any last bit of respect I could have for him. He criticized the boys and xmen for being woke and not even watching either of them. He admitted that. He grifts.
On the colle cup caustic the trick is that this hemeispherical reading/magnifying lens has a rounded lower rim that refracts the light around the rim. Is the flat earth hemispherical dome curved inwards near the antarctic ice ring? And why don't they reproduce ALL the shapes of light distribution over the year they need with their magnifying glass?
Debating a flat earther just seems like a colossal waste of time... Like people that think dinosaurs never existed... Never argue with the mentally challenged
The issue is they had a huge influence in the alt right groups even alt right politicians believe in a flat earth who actually can and will create bills based on that mindset
"Moon landing is fake!" I say outcrazy them: "The moon isn't even real. That's jus the sun covered up by the govt!" They should leave you alone after that 😂
saying "things fall because of density" is like saying that the rope is what brings the flag to the winning team in a game of tug of war, instead of their arms.
@@daydreamerX200 They won't answer that because reality proves them wrong. Which is why they have to do these weird work arounds to make flat earth work. "Why does the the sun and moon go in this direction when gravity doesn't exist?" "Electromagnetism"
This claim always reminds me of a demonstration in physic class (middle school). The teacher put a feather and a steal spring into a vacuum tube. He turned the tube ubside down several times. Both objects in that tube fell toward the ground with the same velocity eventhough a feather is extremly light and has less density. If the density makes things fall to the ground not gravity the feather should float or fall down much slower.
I need more flat earth debunking, these types of videos are so entertaining and educational, at least for me. Great video, didn't know this was a thing you do, so im checking the others out now.
But if its a globe they can not come back. The bets are on how many of them would actually take that ride knowing if they are wrong they are doomed. None would fly
I've been sick at the moment and in pain, but thanks to Birdman's video that pain is now coming from listening to these flat eathers. But seriously, thanks Birdman.

Witsit "coffee cup matches the flat earth model and all the math is perfect"
Also Austin "we don't have a model, just concepts"
He's admitted there's no flat earth map that matches Australia, yet he's modeled out the sun???
56:45 is the most spot-on Jeremy laugh you've ever done.
One of the most frustrating things I learned was the exercise in futility of arguing against someone with an inherently irrational stance. It can’t be reasoned with because there is no reason. However, I still like videos like these every time
Professor Dave has WAY more patience than I would holy shit. I would have given myself a concussion from hitting my head against the wall.
Have fun in Japan, Th3Birdman. Thank you for the video.

I guess flat earthers don't understand that if the earth was stationary, life on earth would be unsustainable
@@jasoncarter455 They also don't understand life on earth wouldn't be sustainable with a flat earth

Kyle Hill, formerly of Nerdist, does this too sometimes.
idk...i've learned a lot from mctoon. he does a lot of live debates and related live streams, but also pre-recorded stuff on his _conspiracy toonz_ channel (formerly owned by conspiracy catz, who's also a legendary debunker)

Thanks for another good one Birdman XD
I can’t believe Unemployed Austin is STILL pushing this grift 😂😂😂
GREAT life choices Austin
i've realized the problem, saw a video of a historian at WGS, younger people now have all the knowledge but not the foundation to understand that knowledge because they way they think is different, not saying it's bad or good, but that's the basis, imagine if someone went back in time, and told Ussain Bolt, he would beat the record for the hundred meter dash in the Olympics, would he still put in the effort he did to achieve that?
Anyone has a link to the flat earther documentary from the beginning? I want to see their sorrow and dissapointment and realisation on a big screen
Why are we even debating about, we all know the earth is a giant dino nugget
I have noticed whenever Austin was at the point of being cornered Jeremy would bring up a new topic letting Austin escape.
I like to think canonically, these are all old clips of OG Birdman schooling fools
I genuinely don't know if there's a dumber "conspiracy" "theory" than Flat Earthers.
There are no theories, and I can't figure out what the conspiracy is. Why are people pretending the Earth is flat? Is it to sell globes!?
Terrance Howard has entered the chat, and he's misusing basic science terms he can't pronounce
You can tell Dave looks *bored out of his mind* in that video, like a CinemaSins video is more entertaining than this “debate”
