I love your show so much! Been watching Mile Higher for years, but The Sesh is much more my speed and has the chill, relaxed vibes - but it gets real sometimes too, which I love. I've actually worked in VR for years; I'm a professional 3D artist with a game art & design BFA and work at a video game studio in my city, and though I have professional experience in environment and prop art, I've worked on our VR projects the longest (About 2.5 years.) The funny thing about VR is that it's actually WAY lower tech than people think! VR headsets (especially the Oculus Quest compared to the Oculus Rift,) CANNOT support complex geometry, or what we call high vertex / triangle counts - which is essentially the geometry that comprises 3D models. For reference, certain clothing assets would need to be about or less than 800-1000 vertices, which is an asset that would go on a WHOLE character in VR, but a held weapon in a traditional first person video game on a console or computer can be anywhere from 15,000-80,000 vertices 💀 Not that impressive once you know that, lol! I'm with Kendall in thinking the advancement of technology can get really scary sometimes, but I think VR would be a lot less scary to people if they knew that A.) The budgets we work with in terms of graphical fidelity and geometry are akin to that of like a PS2. They can't support much ... at all. VR is basically held together by cardboard and duct tape 😂 and B.) There are actually a TON of unique uses for VR outside of gaming. I attended a VR meetup with three different professional speakers, and one was a sex therapist who utilized VR and haptic feedback suits to help paralysis victims and SA survivors. VR can also be used to treat trauma and PTSD by providing calming and meditative places to those who may not have access to travel / are disabled. One thing I'd love to do one day, being that I'm middle eastern diaspora, is preserve art, buildings, and ancient structures destroyed by terror groups / war in VR. I think that would be amazing. Love the show and the new set!!

Hey girls, I love the new sets design, but with peace and love I feel something is off with some lighting and camera angles. I feel as if I cannot see y'all as well as before, in terms of camera positioning. I also really miss the warm dim relaxing lighting that would allow the novelty lights, like The Sesh sign, to glow and add more colors to the room. I felt like the video from the old set had more colors, and like a funky, crystals, 420 vibe. We used to be able to see the sign a lot better. Blair did a fantastic job with the set, so I don't want this to be taken wrong and have rewritten this comment 5 times now. I am just trying to give some of my opinion as a person who genuinely loves y'all and wants to see y'all thrive.
You guys should add an orangeish/red resin top on top of the table that says "keep it fresh" . It would look so dope with the sign. Lol, but I love the new set! Looks great! Welcome back! I hope your break was nice!
So good to have you guys back! ❤️ Who knew Pueblo had cutting edge technology?! 🤣🤣 The turmeric topic was interesting to me as an herbalist because this has already been happening for quite awhile. What happens is pharmaceutical companies see that a plant has health benefits and they find what specific compound/molecule/etc. in the plant is beneficial and then makes a synthetic form of it to put in pill form. For example Aspirin was created from the salicylic acid from willow bark. The problem is that plants have natural buffers that work with your body whereas the synthetic form doesn't have that and so side effects are much more common and can be more dangerous if used in high doses or over longer periods. It's also a little scary to think how plant medicine will go down the path of cannabis or tobacco (which also has some medical uses!) where regular citizens can't have access to the plants because they're deemed too dangerous for the people to use on their own. I love being able to grow turmeric in my greenhouse or get the root in the produce section of Natural Grocers and make my own tea or tincture and I fear someday I may have to get prescribed a bastardized version of it. I'm sure you guys already see this in the CBD industry! Plant derived CBD is worlds better than synthetic CBD!
@Unbalanced Libra I'm sorry to hear that! 💕 Some carts use plant derived CBD but a lot of cheaper ones do use synthetic, unfortunately. Especially if you're buying from random hemp CBD shops and not a state regulated cannabis dispensaries 😕 I'm not sure what kind you're using but the cleaner you can get the better, especially when it comes to solvents. If you can find a distillate or CO2 extraction I find those are WAY better on my lungs than even flower. If you have access to a dab rig or pen you can sometimes find water extracted concentrates for pretty cheap, too! I actually much prefer concentrates to carts because there's usually additional ingredients in carts to make them more liquid and they always make me feel sick. I hope you can find some better stuff! If not definitely come to Colorado and we'll hook you up 😂❤️
