Funny to have a Volvo meet at the Ikea parkinglot 😁 Interesting to see some C30's. I believe all T5's? (maybe the only model sold in the USA/Canada?) I live in the Netherlands where Volvo is an extremely popular brand (probably only in Sweden Volvo is more popular), but the C30 is a car you hardly see over here anymore but was pretty popular when it was sold. I don't know why; V50's and V70's of the same era are seen here on every corner of every street. Of course T5 C30's were very rare here because of the high CO2 tax etc; most popular were the much cheaper smaller petrol and D2 diesel ones. (as a comparison, a T5 cost back then between €38k-€43K whereas a D2 or 1.6petrol was around €20k-€28k depending on options) It was always such an interesting design with that distinctive rear hatch.
Glad Im only first and you see my question - can you please do a video on D5T5 vs dash vs vida vs say a good bi-directional scanner. Im very confused and would like to get one Thanks
I honestly use both. But installing VIDA is not easy. Vdash is simple to install and use. Also VIDA gives you more like parts catalog and repair instructions. Vdash does not. So my advice is to get both. Vdash is free by the way to install. You pay only if you want to program stuff . But diagnostics and erasing codes free
@ thanks I’ll start with vdash then. From time to time I do a three day subscription of Vida and pull all the repair manual stuff to get a big job done. And that’s only if you haven’t done a video first.!
The only problem about Volvos here in the United States is that there's a lot of mechanic shops that don't like repairing them, you have to take it to a Volvo dealership and they are hard to find. Now ask me how I know?
@@volvosweden Because I've owned several Volvos and I lived in different states across the United States and that's one of the biggest issues is locating a Auto shop that will repair them because not a lot of Volvo dealerships .
Thanks for organizing this meet Yuri, good times with nice people.
Awesome Volvo’s!
Love my S60, but really miss my C30. 😔

Volvo IKEA and Absolute Vodka meant to be together 🤣. I love the C30 look. But V50 serves us much better.
❤ Volvos
Great turnout in Winnipeg! go Volvo :)

Hi Yuri, can you help me?
My key lost the sync with the car , can I re-sync with Vida ?
I don’t know the answer
Can you tell vehicle age from number plate, same as in the UK ?
Nope. I lived in London England 1997-2000. I know what you say.

How do you know?🤣 Cause you drive one. Or three like me.

@@volvosweden Whenever you get time use Google maps to locate Volvo dealerships across the United States and you'll see what I'm talking about.
