I would greatly appreciate moderators for the chat! Some people are negative or trolling, but those comments do not represent the majority of viewers. I think everyone is a little tired of people talking about who is sweating, bringing up their wedding rings, and always trying to find something wrong with Tyler’s shirt. It’s sad that you feel the need to address these comments...it generally takes the stream in a more negative direction and seems to stress everyone out. I promise your audience doesn’t care about you addressing negative offhand comments. We would rather you ignore them and just have fun!
Agreed! A loud minority of viewers (are they really fans if they don't care about Saf and Ty's feelings?) act like Saf and Ty are characters on a soap opera, and spend all their time looking for "hints" for the next season's big dramatic twist. It's boring. I don't understand the obsession. The things Saf and Ty *DO* are much more interesting than these imaginary dramas!

We've asked for mods for months, and it makes it really annoying when these comments are made, when they're paid attention to by Saf and Tyler and when so many comments in the archived stream are about them. We should all just either ignore them, or really encourage them to get mods, because it's so exhausting to constantly see these comments made, and brought up, and criticized, and discussed when they shouldn't even be considered at all. I really can't understand why they haven't gotten mods yet though, because this has been a request from almost the first stream, and Safiya has mentioned that she is aware people want it. I think they need to understand that while this is first and foremost about their own wellbeing and how it affects them to read nasty comments, it also negatively affects the general atmosphere of the chat and the comments section. Sometimes I feel like they mention these comments because it makes interesting content, because otherwise I can't imagine why they keep giving it attention and not doing anything to solve the issue.

Another idea for a video is candle carving. There were these candles that were popular where they dip them in different colored wax to make layers. Then they would shave some and twist it or make designs so the colored layers would show.

It's actually refreshing to me to see more people who are online and have a greater audience to look like real people and not dolled up instagram models. And especially Saf, who does a lot of make-up content as well but doesn't propagate the myth that everyone should wear it 24/7. We are loving them for their content and personality and overall goofiness of the stream.

Tyler's anxiety about the t-shirt is the exact same reason I had never seen my dad's favorite t-shirt until I was in my 20's. it's a ZZ Top (his favorite band) shirt he got in the 80's, and him realizing I had absolutely no memory of it was the catalyst for him to start wearing it again. His still only wears it very rarely.

When I visited Japan in middle school, they had these in display in almost every restaurant. They also had detailed pictures of most items on the menus so if we couldn’t read it we could point to the pictures to order what we wanted. It’s so lifelike and awesome looking!

When I went to Tokyo these food replicas fascinated me! The ones I found the craziest were these desert bread loaf things. I forget what they were called but it was a hallowed out brioche-looking loaf of bread filled with ice cream, fruits, whipped cream, syrups, and all sorts of crazy sweets. I didn’t try one because I can hardly handle the amount of sugar in a little mochi lol I’m broken. I did try a pasta restaurant though because the replica for the mayo crab pasta made me laugh and I felt compelled to try it. I didn’t really like it but I’m glad I tried it
I know this has been said a million times, but *i'm literally begging you to get mods* ! The negative comments really dampen the mood of the stream. You shouldn't have to give attention to or defend yourself from shitty, nitpicky comments, and *seeing these comments brought up and addressed just makes them a bigger part of the stream, and then the comment section* . It makes the issue more prevalent, almost like *a negative precedent is being set* . And *It makes it hard to watch these, because even if it's mostly amazing fun watching you guys do cool things and banter, it's anxiety inducing to see these things given attention* , or to know at some point they're going to be brought up. I know you guys are obviously concerned wih the quality of your streams in a visual and audio sense, but I'd strongly encourage you to consider the actual atmosphere of the stream and be a bit firmer with this. *A handful of people shouldn't ruin our fun by spamming awful things or encouraging others to copy them because they think it'll get them noticed* . I completely avoid the chat for that reason, because these streams are very much my 'comfort content' after a bad day or week, and I can feel deterred from them if I know mean comments are gonna be sprinkled in between all the amazing fun content. *Twitch is one of my favourite and most frequnted platforms because mods are the norm there and it VASTLY improves the quality and vibe of the stream. The thoughtful, kind, and funny comments that get drowned out by spam and nitpicking are actually focused on, and it makes for amazing interaction with content creators.*
Exactly! Plus, so many of Saf's fans are inexplicably children under RUclips's minimum age requirement. So some of these spammers may legit just know it gets attention, but not really fully realize how harmful it is. Ignoring it really is the best thing to do, but the only way to know if it's being spammed or if it's legitimately asked once or twice is by monitoring chat, which they can't do by themselves on air.
I FEEL the stress in every action and comment by Saf. Dude, as a Cancer we get hella crabby when we are tired and lash out. Please take some time to rest.

These live streams are basically tutorials and at the same time shows people that they cannot be perfect at the 1st attempt and hence so much more relatable. Love them

Just a bit of advice, run the electric kettle in a different room, or on an extension cord from a different room. They pull so much power, and I would venture to guess that is what caused last week's power outage. I used to manage vintage apartments, and nearly every power outage was caused by an electric kettle.
I forgot that Americans don’t often use electric kettles so I was wondering what all the fuss was about. Every household here in the UK has an electric kettle. I think America’s electric voltage is lower than ours which is why you guys don’t use them

They would have to get Japanese artisans to make the models since I’m pretty sure this type of art is very hard to recreate but I don’t think many artisans would want to make models of American food. Also FYI you can actually find the food models in some JP restaurants mostly ramen houses but I live in Canada so IDK if JP restaurants other than sushi diners are POP in the US

Carly nailed the beer but i think the pasta goes to Saf, it was just more ~appealing to me~ well done saf! Tyler i think the mess of the beer really made the stream interesting, also all the different items just warming in that bowl of hot water reminded me of the public baths in Japan, so that was a good hidden unintended reference. NEZ'S HAIR. Tyler certainly redeemed himself with the fork wrapping and the shaved ice.

When I went to Tokyo these food replicas fascinated me! The ones I found the craziest were these desert bread loaf things. I forget what they were called but it was a hallowed out brioche-looking loaf of bread filled with ice cream, fruits, whipped cream, syrups, and all sorts of crazy sweets. I didn’t try one because I can hardly handle the amount of sugar in a little mochi lol I’m broken. I did try a pasta restaurant though because the replica for the mayo crab pasta made me laugh and I felt compelled to try it. I didn’t really like it but I’m glad I tried it

I know this has been said a million times, but *i'm literally begging you to get mods* ! The negative comments really dampen the mood of the stream. You shouldn't have to give attention to or defend yourself from shitty, nitpicky comments, and *seeing these comments brought up and addressed just makes them a bigger part of the stream, and then the comment section* . It makes the issue more prevalent, almost like *a negative precedent is being set* . And *It makes it hard to watch these, because even if it's mostly amazing fun watching you guys do cool things and banter, it's anxiety inducing to see these things given attention* , or to know at some point they're going to be brought up. I know you guys are obviously concerned wih the quality of your streams in a visual and audio sense, but I'd strongly encourage you to consider the actual atmosphere of the stream and be a bit firmer with this. *A handful of people shouldn't ruin our fun by spamming awful things or encouraging others to copy them because they think it'll get them noticed* . I completely avoid the chat for that reason, because these streams are very much my 'comfort content' after a bad day or week, and I can feel deterred from them if I know mean comments are gonna be sprinkled in between all the amazing fun content. *Twitch is one of my favourite and most frequnted platforms because mods are the norm there and it VASTLY improves the quality and vibe of the stream. The thoughtful, kind, and funny comments that get drowned out by spam and nitpicking are actually focused on, and it makes for amazing interaction with content creators.*
Exactly! Plus, so many of Saf's fans are inexplicably children under RUclips's minimum age requirement. So some of these spammers may legit just know it gets attention, but not really fully realize how harmful it is. Ignoring it really is the best thing to do, but the only way to know if it's being spammed or if it's legitimately asked once or twice is by monitoring chat, which they can't do by themselves on air.

These live streams are basically tutorials and at the same time shows people that they cannot be perfect at the 1st attempt and hence so much more relatable. Love them
im so annoyed at the chat of these streams, a lot of people are constantly commenting on very unnecessary/ rude things or just backseat crafting/streaming, these people really lack manners

Just a bit of advice, run the electric kettle in a different room, or on an extension cord from a different room. They pull so much power, and I would venture to guess that is what caused last week's power outage. I used to manage vintage apartments, and nearly every power outage was caused by an electric kettle.

I forgot that Americans don’t often use electric kettles so I was wondering what all the fuss was about. Every household here in the UK has an electric kettle. I think America’s electric voltage is lower than ours which is why you guys don’t use them

Never understood why bc they’re so useful! trading mine in for one for my stove since my electrical one is kinda broken, I assume from my last apartment.

They would have to get Japanese artisans to make the models since I’m pretty sure this type of art is very hard to recreate but I don’t think many artisans would want to make models of American food. Also FYI you can actually find the food models in some JP restaurants mostly ramen houses but I live in Canada so IDK if JP restaurants other than sushi diners are POP in the US

Carly nailed the beer but i think the pasta goes to Saf, it was just more ~appealing to me~ well done saf! Tyler i think the mess of the beer really made the stream interesting, also all the different items just warming in that bowl of hot water reminded me of the public baths in Japan, so that was a good hidden unintended reference. NEZ'S HAIR. Tyler certainly redeemed himself with the fork wrapping and the shaved ice.
