I love how this interviewer always asks specific questions about specific parts of songs: "what goes on in the bridge section of such and such song? what's in the outro solo of such and such song..." So professional. Attention to detail. homework done. love it. if we all took so much pride in our work, the world would be a better place. Keep it up mr. interviewer guy. your work is appreciated.
I was literally at this venue (Nashville, The Basement) watching their show a few weeks back. Great show, great band, great gear. Always love them coming to Nashville!
Ridiculously informative and very awesome video. I am starting up a progressive doom/stoner/sludge band, like a nastier sounding Pallbearer. Orange, SGs, losts of fuzz, cleans, modulation, the works. I will keep coming back to this video for sure. Respect!!! (Y)
Saw these dudes live @Primavera Sound a few year ago. My God were they loud... I think it was the only show I have ever seen that I had to move like 50m away from the tend to enjoy the show. Great band anyway
I was about the write the same thing. Shouldn't PG know the PRS number system? 277 = 27.7, 245 = 24.5...geez. I switched to Guitar World mag, really like it so far.
Thanks for the assistance. Clearly we don't know all the answers (both Chris and Pallbearer's Brett weren't sure), so mad respect. Thanks for watching and helping out.
John Bolinger always has the artist play their gear. This band has a very unique set up, but I guess you have to guess what it sounds like. If that's your schtick, maybe you should consider changing it.
It all depends on venue sound limitations, time before doors, how many bands need to setup/soundcheck that all play into whether a band can fire up their rig. Ideally, every RR episode would feature playing and sound demos, however, as the case with here, we we told that they band only had a limited amount of time and in order to get all three band members included, we had to omit playing samples and breeze through the setups. Thanks for watching!
I swear to god,.. i am halfway through the Video and when the guys uses the word "killer" one more time, i am going to kill someone. Its on you premier guitar!

agreed
Chris is my favorite Rig Rundown interview.
Chris Kies is king
please, please, PLEASE - do a rig rundown of YOB during their next tour! Please!
This is how a rig rundown should be! Asking all the right questions gj!
This interviewer is fantastic, hes asking all the right questions and really knows his stuff. He should be doing way more rig rundowns.
I was lucky enough to meet Pallbearer after a gig a couple of years ago, they were such sweet nice friendly guys, and played an awesome show!
thehoppo yea, these guys are great. We shared a space with them for a short time. Again, great guys and killer sound.
These guys are insanely talented. It’s cool to see they’re so relaxed and down to earth.
I was literally at this venue (Nashville, The Basement) watching their show a few weeks back. Great show, great band, great gear. Always love them coming to Nashville!
“I don’t like to do the hypermetal super scooped sound.” Yes, and that’s why Pallbearer’s guitars sound so rich and full
I remember seeing him touring with a Jackson V and a Marshall combo, now to this! Rig charter progression +100
I love pallbearer.. saw them live and it was by far one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen! Nice guys!!
Possibly the best rig interviewer on RUclips right now
You guys need to do a Rig Rundown with YOB!!!
This guy should do ALL the interviews. All the other guys are unwatchable. This guy asks all the right questions
Just become a fan of this band recently. Saw them in Berlin with Elder. Totally awesome
These guys seem so nice, and their music is incredible.
This is the only interviewer for Premier Guitar that doesn’t piss me off entirely.
YES. I've been saying this. Those two really fake-acting metrosexual dudes make me cringe. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about.
Saw them live, loved the show! Great music!

It's been 5 years since you'vev had this idea at least, how's it coming along?
Hope the band’s been going well 5-6 years on
"What was the final straw?"
"A Plea For Understanding"
Meet them last night played Atlanta . Loved the tone! So clear
They were as nice as they appear. Roland amp whaaaaaa? Great idea
AUSTIN 3:16 SAYS I PLAY AN ESP
GIVE ME A HELL YEAH!
Saw these dudes live @Primavera Sound a few year ago. My God were they loud... I think it was the only show I have ever seen that I had to move like 50m away from the tend to enjoy the show. Great band anyway
I can’t wait to see these guys live in early June.
Whitecastle :')
lmao I used to have that Steve Austin T-shirt back in middle school
Setting 69 on the Analog drive, nice.
These are the nicest dudes.
Awesome Rig Rundown!
I love BRett so much XXXXXX my hero
The John Weston “Red” tone is pretty much a p bass into a 50w Marshall head. The key is the overdriven output section.
finally, thank you!
20:16 Hey wait, I didn't drink, what's goin' on?
Bass tone on Red = best bass tone in the history of bass tones
Prog bass tones are always amazing, but I'd have to disagree, the bass tone on Tool's lateralus is my personal perfect sound
Lol him and Brett look the same..
21:16 couldn`t help myself thinking "hey don`t you touch that without my permission"
Einstürzende Neubauten yay
Pallbearer is awesome
Holy shit, the bassist uses some crazy thick strings.
I had no idea they used prs s2s. Tgose are my favourite guitars on the planet
S2 vs SE same...some differences but hardly enough for the price difference. Save and just get a real core model.
Mammoth Grinder, Einstürzende Neubeuten...where in all the consonance of their songs do they hide those influences?
But, is his rig KILLER?
Can someone tell me the name of the song that is playing during the intro?
20:34 Are Chris and Brett long lost brothers?
Kayo Dot rig rundown?
So Brett plays the Mesa and the Roland simultaneously? In stereo?
I assume that he's A/B-ing between them for clean and dirty.
he runs the distortion through both but only effects through the mk4
does Boss make anything that doesn't hum?
SE277 = 27.7 inch scale length. Got’damn PG!
I was about the write the same thing. Shouldn't PG know the PRS number system? 277 = 27.7, 245 = 24.5...geez. I switched to Guitar World mag, really like it so far.

10:40 "we haven't played that in years actually..." 👁️👄👁️
That is one dirty guitar.
What is the song at intro?
Dancing in Madness off 'Heartless'.
Thank you so much brotherz, Love the track now, just revisited this rundown and realised you had replied so long ago. 😁
Those guitars just leaning up against that wall...
Nano B ikr lol I was thinking the same thjng
They don't snap at the nut like Gibsons if someone breathes on them
@@kbkman7742 Old meme but the breath part made me laugh, kudos to you
Einsturzende Neubauten shirt on the bassist, nice!
When they lost their fx that night, the show got alot better. Guitars got a lot more present.
Is Joe also tuned to drop A?
Yea
Awesome band, awesome people. Wish they clarified the bass tuning, probably Drop A as well
the reverb of the orange mk2 sucks...the only bad thing about that amp....I still love mine
Is dude wearing a Mammoth Grinder shirt?!!!!!!!
einsturzende t shirt based
Joe looks like little finger from GOT
Don Nowak - 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!!! YES!!!! Exactly my thought, as well!!!!
What song is in the intro?
"Dancing in Madness" off of 'Heartless'.
Awesome, thanks!
Immediately bought "Heartless" after listening to a few samples..... it is SO GOOD!
and where is drumssssssssssssss?
Premier GUITAR
Twins

.140... Jesus Christ lol
Joe is handsome af owo
needs more cowbell.
Ahahhhahahahhah Bret looks like Jordan Wagner (pg)
how about a foo fighters rig rundown?
Osian Jones They suck.
That interviewer looks amped as hell!!bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
14:18 you realize your employer can see this video, right? like you are working for Premier Guitar.. being filmed..
That's the ironic joke, Pablo. It's our job to look at gear...
We got a snitch over here
I swear to god,.. i am halfway through the Video and when the guys uses the word "killer" one more time, i am going to kill someone. Its on you premier guitar!
Don't think that defense will hold up in court...
Yeh ofc just joking. Killer Review though!
