The Original Gallopade, 1829

This a reconstruction of the first Galop (Gallopade) introduced into England in 1829, danced as the final dance at the 2014 Samara Historical Dance Festival in Russia. I taught it to the group, for the first time, just hours before the ball, and most of the dancers remembered the nine parts very well.
