@@RauKnowsOW is she worth to buy the premium though? I just got back to playing Overwatch on my Switch and I have to unlock all the hero’s again, I switched Switch accounts and it reset everything, but I noticed that you have to buy premium to play her. Is she worth the money?
@@frostyelwood9898 this is my opinion but I would say no. Unless you’re a massive fan of ow, I wouldn’t spend money on an f2p game just for a hero that feels like an alternate zenyatta
@@frostyelwood9898 I'd say she very much is so, she is pretty fun to play as if you like dps side, strong cleanse ability and strong tp, kinda like mercy, but instant and decent heals.
But she is also hard to master which is good for high ranks, also her play style is very flexible
@@SubmittedAndReadable to me she feels more like mira, cuz she tends to dps and flank but also heal, except with harder to hit kunai, but also more rewarding. But truly she feels like genji that is able to tp and heal also

Killing a widow, kiriko will say "I thought you were suppose to be the sniper" it's very satisfying

I feel like Kiriko slow projectile speed is actually helping her to mess up widow's peeking timing.
also more tips from a kiriko main. when you get any effect like anti heal or burning use your swift step and save your protection suzo for teammates because it will negate the effects. and stay by your teammates because the healing things you throw takes a long time to reach your teammates. when you get kitsune don't be afraid to use protection suzo because the kitsune halves the cooldown of your abilities
A small micro tip is that when you use her ult, use her Suzu immediately, this allows you to use 2 more Suzus for the duration of her ultimate, and lets your team get even more aggressive as they aren’t taking any damage for a aecond

Kiriko is close to a moira gameplay. U want to be in the fight and just use maj to disengage if u are focus

Nah you should actually go for them. He's right with distance, but if your other healer can pick up the slack then you should go back line widow and then teleport back
Also I would include Hanzo into the snipers to look out for since he can one shot you with a headshot at a good distance.

Well peeking hanzo Is even more stupid because The arrow is also the projectile like your kunai but can oneshot you. and he is not stationary like widow

Most of the time I try and counter snip a widow she either leaves or dies. Most don’t seem to be able to unscope and move before the second kuni hits. Stay close to your team and use cover.
If anyone is seeing this after the recent patch, kiriko is sort of like baptiste lite. the increased time between ofuda gives you a rhythm of heal shoot shoot. this doesnt make you shoot or heal faster like with bap, but it maximizes your potential.
I still disagree heavily with this change though because the painfully slow speed of her kunais, the pitiful damage they deal when not headshotting, and her slow rate of fire just make it so that 95-99% of people have to actively focus on fragging with her as opposed to Baptiste where you can hold down both M1 and M2 and then if your close to your allies with enemies in LoS, all you need to do flick and even if you don’t hit headshots (which are easier with Baptiste because he’s hitscan) you still deal good damage. This change just made Kiriko feel sluggish and unfun for me at least. Perhaps they could fix this by speeding up her projectiles to a similar level as Genji’s shurikens?
I'd also recommend not using your tp too aggressively, instead position aggressively first, then use your teleport to get away. Teleporting to a teammate who is getting focusfired can save them, but especially if your e is on cooldown, it can leave you both in the middle of nowhere and dead.
And while I very much agree with the tip of balancing your damage and heals, please, try and do at least a bit of damage. Having around a 1:3 or even 1:4 damage:healing ratio is very good, but I see way too many kirikos doing less than 1000 damage per game, meaning they hit around 25 shots the entire match. And at that point it's better to just pick ana, Moira or even mercy since ana has higher single target heals, Moira has a similar easy kit with a higher potential helping output and mercy is easier to get offensive value out of if you're really struggling with hitting your kunai! But, primarily, I just recommend practicing your aim with them instead cause they are a crucial part of your kit.

Something to point out regarding the snipers is if your precision is good enough 3 body or 1 headshot is good enough to zone them away. Just make sure they're not looking in your general direction.
Thank you for making these videos! As a person who has played for a few years recently it’s been a bit hard playing because of all the new players but the more information that gets out there the better people will be!
so I'm a Kiriko main at the moment, and I don't really have trouble challenging snipers. could just be I have lower mmr but the slow project. speed actually benefits because they're used to dodging hit scan. I've had a couple actually move back into the second shot because of the delay
Hearing the tip abt snipers really gave me a confidence boost considering how many times I've out sniped a widow as a kiriko XP
I absolutely adore Kiriko. She plays much similar to Moira, but her abilities make it so much easier to be a hybrid dps and support. I loved playing Zen since day one and I loved playing Moira just as much, so to play someone who forces me to be a team player while still having the ability to pick up the slack of my team is the perfect support for me. Ow2 gets thumbs up from me for her
I too adore moira and zen for the reasons of picking up the slack of my teammates, and their rage when i get play from getting a kill streak while they’re messing around
Just a reminder that dont wave your aim around like moira while healing as kriko like we do on moira, her heals lock on and auto follow the person, so its better to stabilize the aim then heal, if you wave around you will miss the heals, when heals are golden means the person is getting it, if they are blue, usually mean they are missing the target
The beat strat for kiriko is be at the back of the team but still near them.

Also, make sure you aim your ult in the direction you want the team to go. Less chance they walk right out of it. And communicate with Bastion and Soldier to make the best use of their turret mode and ult respectively.
Her number one tip should be reserving her bell for the right moment like when teammates get anti'd or someone's about to die
Nah screw the second thing, there's NOTHING better than 1v1ing a sniper and killing them with a headshot. It's so satisfying
You can also get quite a few melee hits in the ult as well. Before nerf it was up to 500 damage, idk about after nerf.

you can absolutely break people's ankles if you're playing close to walls, especially if you manage to get the drop on somebody
i find it funny that it’s like “wow kiriko can heal??? 😳😳😳” when people treat moira as a DPS as well, like focus on healing. .

Haven’t really played her yet mainly been a DPS crutch in OW2 but excited to learn the tanks and supports :)
Best Junker Queen tip is not to play her until she gets buffed in a rebalance patch.
Fun tip for healing with kiriko, if you spam reload(while not at full kunai) while healing you can refresh your paper faster
Her reload time is atrocious though especially if you cancel it by accident by healing or something
Biggest bad habit that I broke and really helped me improve was not wasting suzu. If there's an enemy Ana you need to cleanse the anti primarily. Ults ready, save the suzu for whoever needs it. Yes you can use it to save yourself or someone else, but doing that too much will get more people killed similar to mercy res, res the wrong person or at a bad time and you both die and the fight's lost
I think including not using your healing grenade for half health allies and focusing on using it on saving a very low health target, clearing status, and the immunity on ults
You can also make it so that you only throw half of your papers instead of all of them. It's really useful when multiple teammates need healing
Really like seeing tips for healers. Since ow came ftp I've been screaming over bad heals and losing games because of it. Played ow from 2017 onwards and have lost so many comp games since the drop of ow2. I love kiriko as a support just not as a healer. Her tags are god aweful slow and sometimes don't target teammates. I got one insane game as a rein with a mercy and Ana, widow as dps and I xsnt remember the last dps. Ana and merxy were god tier perfect in every way. It shows good healers put some major confidence into better players and facilitate your efficiency in games. Rein controls pace, governs plays and is overall a leader, mercy and Ana can help facilitate plays, provide some incredible support to rein and maintain effective rein strats. While damage handles anything too close and too far away for both the healers and tank Reach. Widow and reaper are some really fantastic combos with rein. Widow picks off the pesky air people, reaper is in the fight with rein. Combo ults between Ana and rein or Ana and reaper. Or reaper and rein for some insane plays. Overall love ow2.

I play kiriko, get told to heal, outheal the enemy mercy. Get told I'm bad
Because kiriko has a teleport in ability, she is very much able to keep as much distance as she wants. Tip one should be reworked to, play around your teleport, because it'll make things happen

After doing a bunch of sniper fights with Mei, slow as heck secondary, kiriko sniper fights tend to be similar
Kiriko propper uptime is 2×kunai then heal, one of those in the rotation will be reload just heal after then back to shoot shoot heal, it will allow you to do the most DMG and healing but you will need to be good at doing flicks to get those headshots
Some of these are pretty common sense. You should have mentioned that her ult will travel full distance unless the fox is blocked by something. The amount of kirikos ive seen throw their kitsune into a wall or payload and barely get any use out of it is staggering.
Playing kiriko feels like playing chess. If you're getting flanked by a tracer/genji and you kill them the first few times they'll normally swap off or leave you alone, but if they kill you or distract you enough to let a teammate go long enough without healing to die then they'll keep harassing you. Reaper flanks are way harder to deal with though unless your other support is helping and they're out of cooldowns.
Widow honestly feel like an easy target when they're scoped in. I'm only in gold and I'm assuming it doesn't work in higher ranks, but just flanking and bum rushing them in a 1v1 works more often than not, especially since the first headshot is free if they don't see you. If something goes wrong you can just suzu and tp out.
Also the protection ability relies on your ability to predict your allies movement and if your to far to capitalize on it its effectively useless

Challenging a sniper as kiriko is dumb but it’s usually smart to throw a kunai at head level toward a sniper if you have good positioning. The worst that can happen is that you miss them and the best that can happen is you scare them out of position or help ur dps get a pick. Obviously don’t do this if the widow/hanzo know where u are

You could mention that there’s a setting that allows kiriko to use her papers (healing) one at a time and not all at once
Considering how fast all her papers recharge this sounds like a terrible idea

I use Kiriko against widowmaker, Ana and Ashe and its good, the dmg multiplier for the head its ridiculously high and it makes easier to kill them.

Don’t challenge beam characters moira is ok as long as no one is with her try and play close and personally and util usage be aware of what you have on cooldown or your caught dead also don’t die and aim good ez wins bb
as a tf2 player and a Ana/hanzo main i've adapted to projectile weapons
i still miss like 40% of my shots but i also get a lot of headshots
Kiriko basically a better healing zen and her util is insane
Kiriko kunai has same projectile velocity as Zenyatta projectiles, so just imagine leading shots like you're Zen. Problem is her fire rate is way slower so take time with aim.
You forgot to mention throwing a dagger in between healing ofuda reload

As kiriko I like using my ult and healing the shit outa my team and watching them obliterate everything in sight
Ult also reduces cooldowns.
Reset faster
kiriko is my support main and all i can say its easier for me to land headshots during my ult. just go close range and spam kunai with your crosshair on headshot level. you don't even have to aim that much.
1 tip would also be holding on to your susu is bad use it when you need it don't wait for the perfect cleans but also look who your opponent is if they have a ana wait for anti nade if someone gets slept i would leave them be 99% of the time unless they are low anti heal is too important to not cleanse
Really need to play her more she seems like an interesting character but i always feel like I'm not healing with her
when pop her ultimate your ability cooldown go down faster
Another tip turn off auto healing ofuda so that you can split your heals and heal people only as much as they need

I don’t play healer often but when I play healer, I do healing and I do it well, as a support, my team always comes first
Healing comes first on her and master her Suzu as it’s insane for saving low teammates and cleanse
if u swap ur left and right mouse buttons with kiriko youll it so many more kunais 👍

also, a MAJOR issue is teleporting onto a dying teammate when you don't know who is there. you put yourself at EXTREME risk when you do this and now not only you but also the other teammate are now dead. don't try to do last-second saves like that it rarely works out well!
I'm surprised you don't mention that Kiriko can fire 2 kunai between every heal, without losing out on any notable healing per second, or reload once between heals the same way.

Challenging a widow is often very easy and in my personal experience almost always works out as widow has to stand still to try to shoot you making her a easy 2 headshots and dead

In short, play Kiriko aggressively and you will get more value.
Also, if you do reload-heal-reload-heal you heal faster and it's way more broken with her ult.
