Another thing about the Suzu, it doesn't only make you invulnerable and cleanses, it makes you INTANGIBLE. This means that, say, a Reinhardt charging or a Brigitte trying to bash you will actually go THROUGH you instead of stopping.
Kiriko's crew(Kiricrew?) have the coolest outfit designs I've seen in any game. I really like it when traditional outfits is mixed with modern street fashion without being disrespectful to the culture that it's from.

Well, you always play in the best of both worlds. Try and work with your team to get picks, the burden shouldn’t be on just you, and your abilities allow your dps to be stronger just from being near you.
When I played Overwatch 2 for the first time(Day after the game came out) I played as Kiriko to get a feel for her and see if when i'm a support I have a hero to turn to, and I popped off getting kill after kill my team didn't die once; I was surprised I did so good for my first Unranked match after not playing Overwatch for a few months. My ruling is that Kiriko isn't too hard to learn but you will need to practice if you want to get better with her.
To me as someone with less than 12 hours in the game Kiriko feels fairly easy. Her healing output is slightly less than moira or mercy but is really easy to pump into your team at any range, the ability to teleport to any teammate within 35 meters is great for getting in and out of trouble and her kuni is hard to hit but rewarding making her great to learn aiming on. Her ultimate carry’s a good team and the protective suzu is so versatile with the right timing (I use it as a “give me a second to heal my teammates” button if someone is about to die) she feels powerful enough to make a difference played at any skill level.

The part where he said Zenyatta fired faster in Kiriko’s ult aged like milk. Edit: seems like the patch notes weren’t clear, the problem was simply that Zenyatta was firing much faster than intended, so they slowed him down, but he still benefits from the ult.

OH! the papers are healing! I didn’t actually realize that, I though it was like Moira’s secondary fire for some reason. Also Kiriko’s swift step can break some custom modes such as Ascendant Clicker pretty easily by letting you skip certain parts.
0:13 Historically, the kunai was used as an entrenching tool, and was not thrown. And yes, I am being serious. It was a multitool. And the circle at the end was there so that the kunai cound be used for ziplining.
I've been playing kiriko whenever me and the boys hop on overwatch 2 and honestly I have to say as a person with tons of shooter game background, I think kiriko is rather easy to play but hard af to master, her abilities are intuitive but to know the timings of when to use them optimally is another art that I havent mastered yet. I dont have too much trouble hitting my shots (usually around 30% hs% and 30-40% knives hit and I am spamming it a lot so the accuracy stats will be kinda low)

Protection Suzu also cleanes all of junker queen’s wounds, along side other stuns including roadhog’s hook and rienhardt’s charge. If you teammate gets caught in them, if you’re quick enough you can chuck the bell at them and they will get un-pinned/hooked. Super cool!
She’s fine the way she is. And she is a perfect support, perhaps you just don’t play her like a support, or maybe you have the wrong idea about what a support is. But she is probably going to get nerfed, not buffed.

On another note in my opinion supports should have 3 abilities or 2 abilities and a very useful/synergistic passive moira has 2 orbs (technically 1 abilitie but you have 2 options) and a "dash" or Baptist that has a jump and his 2 abilities or mercy with her damage booster and her 2 abilities.....but kiriko has a clime that feels a bit underwhelming compared to climbing with genji or hanzo anyway
Just for the people who dont know, if you change your swift step sense above 50% you’ll miss more of your ofudas. The ofudas hit box size is roughly the size of the default 50% swift step hit box. When you change it to more than 50% you’ll visually see that “box” around your teammate and if you throw your tags they wont lock on. But since it’s the same size at 50% when you see that box, you almost always lock on with your heals.

Her Suzu also does a tiny bit of knockback. I actually got a kill on a Hammond with the Ilios well while just trying to save a teammate (also it has its own killfeed icon)
Kiriko’s is busted with soldier and genji ult. Since, the extra movement speed, being able to shoot faster, with slower cooldowns makes soldier and genji really scary.
Another pro tip is that you can teleport to an invisible sombra. That means you can do thing like getting you're sombra to go to a widow on high ground and then tp and jumpscare her with the kunais without sombra having to unstealth.
Imo being an actual support healer it's VERY easy to do. TP to other, heal or if you don't like that you can heal and when someone targets you you go duces on em with the teleport. Although doing damage yourself is still the more difficult part since landing the kunai or using the protection thingy for beginners (like me) is pretty hard.

Nope. Her intangibility only works for .75 seconds, and the only reason people call her dps is because she is able to do decent damage with her kunai, but it isn't broken. She is mostly a healer.

You're getting very little value out of her if you prioritize healing. Her kit is all about enabling aggression, while providing some healing.

I remember hearing that the reason people used them as weapons sometimes was because weapons were regulated so they had to use farming tools

i think kiriko is one of the few ACTUALLY balanced heros.

Another pro tip is that you can teleport to an invisible sombra. That means you can do thing like getting you're sombra to go to a widow on high ground and then tp and jumpscare her with the kunais without sombra having to unstealth.

Imo being an actual support healer it's VERY easy to do. TP to other, heal or if you don't like that you can heal and when someone targets you you go duces on em with the teleport. Although doing damage yourself is still the more difficult part since landing the kunai or using the protection thingy for beginners (like me) is pretty hard.

Nope. Her intangibility only works for .75 seconds, and the only reason people call her dps is because she is able to do decent damage with her kunai, but it isn't broken. She is mostly a healer.
