Hey Macro, Junker queen’s bleed effect is also cleansed by Kiriko. An added note to this is that if Junker Queen’s knife is stuck to you, cleanse will just make the knife fall off.

Only Kiriko, master of glitching out of the map, could stop the red team, but when the world needed her most, she got hacked and dived by a monke.
She could prob survive that. She only needs to live a couple seconds before the hack wears off and then you throw down susu and teleport away

Another thing about the Suzu, it doesn't only make you invulnerable and cleanses, it makes you INTANGIBLE.
This means that, say, a Reinhardt charging or a Brigitte trying to bash you will actually go THROUGH you instead of stopping.

I like how he makes the tests in kanezaka, Kirikos home. It’s the little detail and effort you put into the videos that makes them even more enjoyable
The ability also works on Zenyatta’s negative orb but it’s kinda pointless since he can just reapply it effortlessly :/

Kiriko's crew(Kiricrew?) have the coolest outfit designs I've seen in any game. I really like it when traditional outfits is mixed with modern street fashion without being disrespectful to the culture that it's from.

I think she's easy to play when you're focused on healing over doing damage but it becomes hard when you're trying to get picks
Well, you always play in the best of both worlds. Try and work with your team to get picks, the burden shouldn’t be on just you, and your abilities allow your dps to be stronger just from being near you.
You're getting very little value out of her if you prioritize healing. Her kit is all about enabling aggression, while providing some healing.
Luckily doing both is really easy for me

When I played Overwatch 2 for the first time(Day after the game came out) I played as Kiriko to get a feel for her and see if when i'm a support I have a hero to turn to, and I popped off getting kill after kill my team didn't die once; I was surprised I did so good for my first Unranked match after not playing Overwatch for a few months. My ruling is that Kiriko isn't too hard to learn but you will need to practice if you want to get better with her.
she somehow is a mid range skill hero, she isnt hard as the likes of ana or zen but nethier easy like lucio/mercy.

Edit: seems like the patch notes weren’t clear, the problem was simply that Zenyatta was firing much faster than intended, so they slowed him down, but he still benefits from the ult.

To me as someone with less than 12 hours in the game Kiriko feels fairly easy. Her healing output is slightly less than moira or mercy but is really easy to pump into your team at any range, the ability to teleport to any teammate within 35 meters is great for getting in and out of trouble and her kuni is hard to hit but rewarding making her great to learn aiming on. Her ultimate carry’s a good team and the protective suzu is so versatile with the right timing (I use it as a “give me a second to heal my teammates” button if someone is about to die) she feels powerful enough to make a difference played at any skill level.
well she isnt too hard to play or too easy to play. she somehow is in mid range skill.

I'm pretty new to the franchise, and I believe that she's a fun challenge, I had trouble at first but once I understood her abilities I got pretty decent at playing her

@@kenju8929 a skill ceiling is how much skill you need to put in before you reach their max potential. Kiriko has a very high one.
And the opposite is a skill floor which is how powerful a hero is while putting in minimum effort. For example, hogs skill floor is way too high.

When they made her they were designing a dps but then realized that they haven’t made a healer in 3 years so they gave a her healing move

I've been playing kiriko whenever me and the boys hop on overwatch 2 and honestly I have to say as a person with tons of shooter game background, I think kiriko is rather easy to play but hard af to master, her abilities are intuitive but to know the timings of when to use them optimally is another art that I havent mastered yet. I dont have too much trouble hitting my shots (usually around 30% hs% and 30-40% knives hit and I am spamming it a lot so the accuracy stats will be kinda low)

Honestly I love the supports but kiriko is just more of a des and I wish she had another ability and that her TP had autolock and further range
She’s fine the way she is. And she is a perfect support, perhaps you just don’t play her like a support, or maybe you have the wrong idea about what a support is. But she is probably going to get nerfed, not buffed.

@@ken7007 no what I mean is that I have been spawn killed or just not able to play because someone on the other team is doing some kiriko headshot only challenge or smt it just feels slightly overpower if you can hit headshots and her kit does feel ever so slightly underwhelming compared to other characters that have 2 abilities.
On another note in my opinion supports should have 3 abilities or 2 abilities and a very useful/synergistic passive moira has 2 orbs (technically 1 abilitie but you have 2 options) and a "dash" or Baptist that has a jump and his 2 abilities or mercy with her damage booster and her 2 abilities.....but kiriko has a clime that feels a bit underwhelming compared to climbing with genji or hanzo anyway
as a certified kiriko main at the start of me playing ow2, (bastion's gone so yeah) i can safely say that YOU GET PLAY OF THE GAMES EVERY SECOND/THIRD MATCH WHILE DOING MORE DAMAGE THAN YOUR DPS AND MORE HEALING THEN YOUR FELLOW SUPPORT LIKE WHY IS SHE SO

OH! the papers are healing! I didn’t actually realize that, I though it was like Moira’s secondary fire for some reason. Also Kiriko’s swift step can break some custom modes such as Ascendant Clicker pretty easily by letting you skip certain parts.

Another pro tip is that you can teleport to an invisible sombra. That means you can do thing like getting you're sombra to go to a widow on high ground and then tp and jumpscare her with the kunais without sombra having to unstealth.
Her Suzu also does a tiny bit of knockback. I actually got a kill on a Hammond with the Ilios well while just trying to save a teammate (also it has its own killfeed icon)

Suzu can also cleanse Junkerqueen wounds and Sigma accretion (since it's the same as earthshatter)
There some things that can be cleansed:
1-JQ bleed
2-Sojourn's E

4-Also she is intagible so she dodge reinhardt charge for example

It also gets rid of Zenyattas orb of discord which is great for your tanks if they have it on them.
Kiriko’s is busted with soldier and genji ult. Since, the extra movement speed, being able to shoot faster, with slower cooldowns makes soldier and genji really scary.

Imo being an actual support healer it's VERY easy to do. TP to other, heal or if you don't like that you can heal and when someone targets you you go duces on em with the teleport. Although doing damage yourself is still the more difficult part since landing the kunai or using the protection thingy for beginners (like me) is pretty hard.
Just for the people who dont know, if you change your swift step sense above 50% you’ll miss more of your ofudas. The ofudas hit box size is roughly the size of the default 50% swift step hit box. When you change it to more than 50% you’ll visually see that “box” around your teammate and if you throw your tags they wont lock on. But since it’s the same size at 50% when you see that box, you almost always lock on with your heals.
Since everyone is a weeabo now, adding the cool hot imouto asian character is a good move

True however zen can reapply the orb immediatelly since it has no cooldown, unless the teammate was out of zens sight in which case the orb would have gone away in a sec anyway

I myself was a noob until I watched this vid, now I know how crazy Kiriko actually is, and now thanks to Macro I can become one of the best Kiriko players

Protection Suzu also cleanes all of junker queen’s wounds, along side other stuns including roadhog’s hook and rienhardt’s charge. If you teammate gets caught in them, if you’re quick enough you can chuck the bell at them and they will get un-pinned/hooked. Super cool!

Kiriko can knife into melee for a 150 damage combo over little ledges and entrances and teleporting out will help you almost never die
My group agreed upon one rule: No Kiriko and Baptiste together whether quick play or competitive. But if we encounter one in competitive, then the rule is off.
To the people who kiriko isnt OP: She has the offensive abilities of zenyatta, who is an offense focused support, while negitng his main weakness with her amazing mobility. Suzu is just a broken ability and can completely counter ULTS, like earthshatter, junker queen's, any any big explosion type. swift step is dummy useful, basically a get a out of jail free card plus CC cleanse, or you can teleport in and save your whole team from an ult. Her healing is also great, its on par with the stronger healers like moira and lucio. dont even get me started on kitsune rush it has the canditate of being the best ultimate in the game currently. Basically her abilites are too loaded and she has no real downsides, compared to the other supports.
im not kidding kitsune rush feels like a nano boost + lucio amped for the whole team, while getting 3s hook cooldown on hog. You can play so stupid as kiriko because swift step is so safe and prevents you from being punished if you're out of position. Earthshatter was already weak because its not 3s but now that kiriko can just TP in and cleanse everyone, while healing them and giving them invunerablilty its just...
I believe that Zenyatta discord orb can be cleansed by Kiriko.
Hispanic Kiriko be having chancletas instead of kunai
Though not completely optimal you can use sniper kiriko and mostly heal and through Kunai at a distance if you wanna play her but are a more passive player. If you’re using her ult, healing and ofuda well you arent wasting the character.
I’m not personally a super aggressive player (I’m more defensive) so I thought it wasn’t ok to play kiriko. But do what makes you happy

I played overwatch 1 and was hoping a support would come out. Unfortunately I didnt get it, but for old players that have a Overwatch 1 account linked, you get her instantly instead of having to grind her out to level 55 (for free) or level 1 (for $10) like new accounts.
Now I know Macro is mainly an Overwatch player, but honestly I would be really interested in seeing a Team Fortress 2 for noobs, or even each of the 9 classes if we're feeling lucky
