  • In May 2024, the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad fired up the famous Reading T-1 #2102 to haul the first Iron Horse Ramble excursion of 2024, from Reading. PA to the quaint town of Jim Thorpe, PA. With 15 cars in tow, the “T-Hog” tackled the rugged mountains of Pennsylvania’s beautiful Anthracite region, putting on an impressive show for both railfans and tourists alike. We hope you enjoy this Film “Rambling Along The Reading”, brought to you by Steam Power PA!

Magnificent catches of the train coming by and pass, I like it 5 stars.
Hearing that amazing puffing and chufing sound and cars is absolutely crazy.

Thanks! It is actually quite easy to access the wye, if you go to Google earth and find the wye, just go to the street view of the road closest to it. Then look for the gravel pullover area and follow the path and walk in.
