Reading & Northern 2102: The Lehigh Limited (4K)
In the summer of 2024, the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad fired up their famous ex. Reading T1#2102 to haul the iconic Iron Horse Rambles. For the first time since the original Rambles ended in 1964, this excursion ventured off the traditional route which runs from Reading - Jim Thorpe, to a new route, which departed from the new Nesquehoning Station complex, through the scenic Lehigh Gorge, to Pittston and return. With 15 or more packed passenger cars in tow, the mighty "T-hog" thundered up the Pocono Mountains, putting on a spectacular show for both railfans and locals alike. Thanks! It is actually quite easy to access the wye, if you go to Google earth and find the wye, just go to the street view of the road closest to it. Then look for the gravel pullover area and follow the path and walk in.

Awesome video, are you able to make it to Strasburg on Friday the 31st? I’m gonna be taking the hostling tour that day and I’m chasing the train till after the 2pm run. With Luck it should be 475 again, if you’re not able to go on Friday, that’s understandable.
Unfortunately I can’t make it then, and I likely won’t venture out to Strasburg until sometime in the late summer. I’m glad you enjoyed!
