- My first Darth Sidious Gameplay is currently my most viewed Gameplay I've uploaded (Thanks!), so with the newest release of 'Instant Action Prequel Trilogy', which has now been renamed to 'Clone Wars Instant Action' I can bring you all an updated gameplay showcasing the new robes and dual lightsabers, which I know many of you wanted to see :)

They should have replaced his middle ability with something like phasmas staff or BX’s sword but it’s a lightsaber

This mod is sick, it gives palpatine all his apprentices best fearures: A mix of dooku, anakni and grevious' basic attack, vader choke, mauls throw, palpatines chain lightning and anakins retrubution, so broken
Just remember, he's the one who taught them all this.

It was probably to appease the original trilogy boomers. A lot of them don't like Palpatine or even Yoda using a lightsaber.
@@realjoemavro well it depends on the situation palpatine used lightsabers but he always viewed them as simplistic and he felt ones power with the force meant more. He was one of the most skilled lightsaber users as well being able to alternate between the 5 forms when most typically dont use more than 2 a primary and seconds if needed so they would be less predictable.

Don't get me wrong, I acknowledge the OT as the best trilogy, but it's irritating to see people still picking on the Prequel Trilogy and being so chill about the Sequel Trilogy, which lacked any creativity or heart.
Battlefront 2 had so much wasted potential.
That’s why Star Wars revoked their exclusivity

It made me laugh seeing how busted maul's dash combined with chain lightning is 😂

Honestly it would make more sense for him to use his dual sabers in Battlefront, since he outclasses everyone in the roster with the force. Him sabrewielding would allude to him holding back and enjoying their suffering as he picks off the heroes with his blades.

Imagine if one of his lightsabers were gone, and when he did the dash, not the dash strike. The dash, he would do the like iconic palpatine dash, like the Spiral thingy

His "Storm" should have been like the storm he made in Rise of Skywalker. If you put Revan's theme over this gameplay it s a match made in heaven.
Palpatine should have had a power up Order 66 where Palpatine players could turn the Clones against Force Sensitive heroes

I honestly think that palpatine sprinting towards me with not one but TWO lights lightsabers activated would be the scariest thing I can think of.
Going up against that with a blaster honestly no shame I’d just bloody hide. I admire their bravery/desperation.
A combination of Palpatine, Darth Maul, Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker skill set into Clone Wars Darth Sidious is crazy. Good work! Imagine people abuse this and the game will be broken.

This game had SO much potential
Oh how much I would have loved to play like this with Sidious; one where you have an option to fight with lightsabers or the Force. Sad how modders have to do what the creators fail to do.
Sad also that mods like this aren't available on Xbox One.
This version of palpatine could actually be playable in online. Just increase ability cool down and lower his stamina

I'm honestly really loving the reception Darth Sidious is receiving has a lot of fun making it, really enjoyed the video it's a nice showcase of everything:)
That sequence of destruction at 4:51 to 4:58 is just on another level. The way Sidious throws the saber and catches at the end while you hear the clone in the background screaming is so raw and violently efficient in true Sith fashion. Not to mention that ridiculous blast of force lightning at the start of the sequence. Sheesh. Well done sir. Well done.

@@russiangravy3870 even right now on BF2, the light side is significantly weaker than the dark side. Vader vs any light side hero isn’t even a question and that’s considering both players are equally skilled. In BF3 if they made all lightsaber heroes similar to this mod^ it would be not only more fun but equal in how skilled each hero is. And gun heroes should stay in game modes like galactic assault and supremacy.

Truly an amazing mod, and this video is an amazing showcase of the mod, too. This reminds me of dual bladed Sidious in that scene from Clone Wars season 5 where he fights Maul and Savage. I wish this was an actual hero

This is why Palpatine only can be played without his lightsabers
People see Sidious as a weak old man that relies on force lightning, but in reality he was so fast and ferocious that even Yoda struggled to land a hit, as an apprentice he mastered all lightsaber combats but just hated them for reasons i forgot, this is a good depiction of what sidious did in legends

This is incredible, idk who you are but you do good work and I really wish this was the palpatine we get to play as because this is so badass, that scene on mandalor between him and savage is one of my all time favorite battles and I’ve since wanted to play as that palps, you make it look effortless 👌🏼

The balls on Obi-Wan @8:04 to charge at Sidious w/low health while Anakin takes his sweet ass time getting to him, telling him "I am not your enemy." This is why Yoda chose to go solo at the Senate chambers. But I do like how they separated so we could see this epic 2v1 tho.

Yeah, it's just cuz they block so much. Play pretty defensively.
They also get insane buffs. Check out their health pool for instance

Because they have 1200+ HP and their strikes do far more damage than player heroes (200 damage a swing)

In battlefront 3 I want darth sidious to be a dual character. In one stage he is all lightning like he was and then he can change stances and be a lightsaber wielding god like he is when he vs savage and maul

Sidious as a character sounds like he’d be great in Battlefront 2. They’d also play quite a bit differently then The Emperor that I’d say it would be distinct enough to know the difference between them.
The only downside is that people would probably get confused when saying “Papa Palps” or “Palpy” when facing him.
