It looks like your PC is running a Microsoft account. Do you know what account you have - local or Microsoft? It is important. The fact is that the Microsoft account password is stored on the Microsoft website and is constantly synchronized with the PC, and therefore it is possible to reset such a password on the PC only with the help of special programs. Try to do the following: log in to your outlook profile on the Microsoft website on your phone or from another PC and while logging in, click "Forgot your password" or "Sign in options" and then follow the system recommendations. After you change the forgotten password, you need to turn on the locked PC and enter a new password, the PC must be connected to the Internet: account.microsoft.com/account?lang=en-by If that doesn't help, let me know.
You could hold shift key and click on restart button while still holding down the shift key until you enter system troubleshooting. Every other thing is wonderful!

There is one reason for this: your Windows uses a Microsoft account, but the method in my video is only for a local account. The system is not broken, sorry, but such problems occur if you make a mistake in one of the steps. Now try to do the following - You need to start the whole path from the very beginning, that is, forcefully reboot the PC, if you have a laptop, press the power button and hold it until the laptop turns off, then turn on the computer. Sometimes after this, the cyclic reboot stops, but if the endless reboot continues, again forcefully turn off the PC and open the command line, write "regedit" and go through the path step by step, but with one change: open the CmdLine tab 4:13, delete cmd.exe, press ok and continue until 5:57 Reboot the PC, after this reboot, the cyclic reboot should stop and the lock screen should open. After that, do nothing and let me know when you're done.
At the end when i complete everything and i tipe ‘exit’ when i try to log in in the profile it says ‘The user profile serviced failed the sign-in user profile cannot be found

Apparently in one of the steps you made a mistake and now you need to go through the whole process from the very beginning. Open the Command Prompt again and go through all the steps to the end, previous changes in the registry do not matter.
I talked about a bootable USB flash drive Windows, with which you install Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 10. You can take such a USB flash drive from a relative, friend, or you can make such a USB flash drive yourself: ruclips.net/video/3er-oSk6JPM/видео.html

If after rebooting your laptop returns to the installation menu, this means that the USB device is in first place in the Boot Priority in the BIOS. Now you can turn off or restart the laptop and immediately remove the USB flash drive from the laptop, after which the process will continue automatically. But if this does not happen, boot the laptop again from the USB flash drive, open cmd, write “regedit” and go through the whole process from the very beginning. After making changes in the registry editor, immediately after starting the reboot, remove the USB flash drive from the laptop, otherwise it will return to the installation menu again.

Do you know what account you have -
local or Microsoft?
It is important.
The fact is that the Microsoft account password is stored on the Microsoft website and is constantly synchronized with the PC, and therefore it is possible to reset such a password on the PC only with the help of special programs.
Try to do the following:
log in to your outlook profile on the Microsoft website on your phone or from another PC and while logging in, click "Forgot your password" or "Sign in options" and then follow the system recommendations.
After you change the forgotten password, you need to turn on the locked PC and enter a new password, the PC must be connected to the Internet:
account.microsoft.com/account?lang=en-by
If that doesn't help, let me know.

There is one reason for this: your Windows uses a Microsoft account, but the method in my video is only for a local account.
The fact is that the password from the Microsoft account is stored on the Microsoft website and is constantly synchronized with the PC, and therefore it is impossible to reset such a password on the PC, only using programs.
From the beginning, try to do the following:
Sign in to your Microsoft account from any other PC or phone:
account.microsoft.com/account?lang=en-by
When logging in, click "Forgot Password" or "Login Options" and then follow the prompts.
After successfully changing the password, turn on the locked PC and enter a new password.

If it does not work, write to me, there are options and I will try to help you.

Apparently your computer is running a Microsoft account and it is impossible to reset the password for such an account on the computer.
You can click on "Forgot your password?" While logging into your account profile. and then follow the recommendations of the system.
And further:
If you are unable to reset your password, you should try the password reset method that computer service engineers usually use for a fee:

Try to log into your account profile on the Microsoft website, I already wrote about this:
account.microsoft.com/account?lang=en-by
If that doesn't work, you only have one option:
Save the data you need from drive C to other drives or USB flash drive:
ruclips.net/video/azBQGCUn1T8/видео.html
then reset Windows to factory settings:
ruclips.net/video/njcPdfDHS1A/видео.html
During this process, all data and the old password on the C drive will be completely deleted, you will receive a new Windows 10, as if you bought a computer in a store, and you will also receive a new account and password.
Instead of resetting to factory settings, you can make a USB bootable USB flash drive yourself and install a new Windows 10 on your computer:
ruclips.net/video/3er-oSk6JPM/видео.html

If your PC starts to reboot constantly after all the steps, do the following:
force shutdown the PC, then turn it on, open the command prompt and again go all the way from the beginning.
The only thing - on one of the steps, do it differently, when you open the "Setup Tupe", instead of 0, put 1, but not 2, this should solve the problem.

after did changes in regedit, when it restarted my os got crashed, pls suggest me what i can do next to fit it
The system is not broken, sorry, but such problems occur if you make a mistake in one of the steps.
Now try to do the following - You need to start the whole path from the very beginning, that is, forcefully reboot the PC, if you have a laptop, press the power button and hold it until the laptop turns off, then turn on the computer.
Sometimes after this, the cyclic reboot stops, but if the endless reboot continues, again forcefully turn off the PC and open the command line, write "regedit" and go through the path step by step, but with one change:
open the CmdLine tab 4:13, delete cmd.exe, press ok and continue until 5:57
Reboot the PC, after this reboot, the cyclic reboot should stop and the lock screen should open.
After that, do nothing and let me know when you're done.
At the end when i complete everything and i tipe ‘exit’ when i try to log in in the profile it says ‘The user profile serviced failed the sign-in user profile cannot be found

Hi!
There's one reason for this: Error 8646 shows you're using a Microsoft account on your Windows, but the method in my video is for a local account only.
The fact is that the password from the Microsoft account is stored on the Microsoft website and is constantly synchronized with the PC, and therefore it is impossible to reset such a password on the PC, only using programs.

@@m.mmotivationnnnsurvivor7151 I understand you. If there are no personal files on your laptop. which you would not like to lose, then you can reset the PC to factory settings with the complete removal of all data on the C drive.
Maybe you don't want to lose your files, then you can do the following:
If you have another PC, or your relative or friend has a PC that you can use, email me and I will give you detailed instructions on how to create a flash drive to reset the password of any account, it's free.

I got through everything up to unloading the hive. Closed out command prompt and “cancelled” the windows 8 install screen. The computer starts to reboot but the screen just goes blank. I cannot get to the next command prompt to open to reset net user password. Any ideas?
Apparently in one of the steps you made a mistake and now you need to go through the whole process from the very beginning.
Open the Command Prompt again and go through all the steps to the end, previous changes in the registry do not matter.
Question. Could I have changed my screen name when I added my name at the end, before rebooting?
If you are asking for an account name
Time code 05:36
Here you need to enter your name without changes
What do u mean by installation USB flash drive is that a seperate product I have to buy or can I use a normal USB?
I talked about a bootable USB flash drive Windows, with which you install Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 10.
You can take such a USB flash drive from a relative, friend, or you can make such a USB flash drive yourself:

ps: i pull the usb now it says scanning and repairing drive. please help
After making changes in the registry editor, immediately after starting the reboot, remove the USB flash drive from the laptop, otherwise it will return to the installation menu again.
thank you so much done reseting my password.
