Absolutely my favorite actor of all time. Watch him as a child every Easter watching The Ten Commandments and the Epic Ben-Hur. That tradition carried on to my children and hopefully to my grandchildren. Easter will always be church, dinner and Charleton Heston! My daughter said she will be naming her son Judah Ben (last name. You think Heston made an impression in our family?! Oh yeaaaaaaas 💕

I actually got in touch with Fraser by letter. He sent me a reply and was very gracious. Very good guy and the son of my favorite actor of all. They do not make them like him anymore. I have his book and journals. In the Arena is a must read for anybody that truly loves Mr. Heston and his legacy.

I’ve got the dvd of one movie when they worked together, Treasure Island, Charlton was Long John Silver and Fraser directed it. Probably the best movie that’s been based on that story.

For me. Planet of the Apes is the Greatest movie ever made. It is a masterpiece of Science Fiction. And The Ten Commandments and Ben Hur are in my top 10 Films of all time. His Dad was in all of them.

I loved Heston in his portrayal of Michelangelo in "The Agony and the Ecstasy". And likewise in his role as Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar in "El Cid".
