    Thought the digital rear view mirror was standard on the pro ? My 24 Pro came with one and not as an add on. Maybe USA is different. Love this Pro way better than the 2021 2.5 gen.

    @11:54 did you not know how to work it maybe? Teeeyota says: "the 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro comes standard with a digital rearview mirror". Also @ 14:17 it's 10.9" ground clearance as the standard tundra is 9.4, and there's a 1+ inch lift for TRD Pro models

  • @ozjohn8657
    @ozjohn8657 2 месяца назад

    I was looking at the TRD pro and the Raptor. I went with the Raptor and I’m so happy with my decision. It would suck to own one of these new Tundras with all the engine problems this 3.4 is having.

      Those engine problems were rectified after 2022. We are in 2024.

    Dumb question but do you have to charge the electric motor at all? How long does the motor last?

    • @Sleepygarage
      @Sleepygarage  3 месяца назад +1

      No u don’t charge it, the engine charges the battery as u drive. Motor is supposed to work for the lifetime of the car

    Raptor cannot tow much , , brand loyalty only goes so far., the Toyota is the clear winner

    • @tgardner6818
      @tgardner6818 7 месяцев назад +4

      I would agree that this is a great truck. But he compares parts of the Raptor and not all of the raptor. A raptor can tow but is not engineered for that. It does not tow much. But he also does not mention the raptor R when speaking of horse power and torque. A more apples to apples comparison would be a tremor package. The tremor has higher payload and towing capacity. It also has a variety of motor options. This Toyota is an awesome truck . I just think the title of this is misleading… it is not more powerful than than every raptor option.

    If the Tacoma TRD Pro had heated and ventilated rear seats, roll down rear window, and a panoramic moon roof, with the tundra pro motor it would be a perfect truck IMO. Red seatbelts! Match them up with the red interior option and bring back the carbon texture on the back of the isodynamic seats.

    Cheaper than a raptor? they go for about the same in Texas. It’s no where near a raptor level though, so it’s a waste of money over a raptor.

    Wont be anywhere near as reliable as that 5.7. Toyota is having its problems with the wastegates on the turbos, and that 10 speed transmission gets trashed by other reviewers. I dont care what they say, wait until the bugs are all figured out. Toyota is not what it was 10 years agp. None of the manufacturers make anything to last anymore.

    😢 when the topic of real trucks come up tundras are never part of the conversation. There is a reason for that. Thirsty and gutless and unreliable. And their sales compared to the others prove that's what everybody else knows

    • @davidvanschubert9093
      @davidvanschubert9093 7 месяцев назад +1

      The new ones have guts and so do the old ones. The old ones are reliable but the new ones are not. They didn’t sell as many of the old ones because they didn’t have all the bells and whistles that make a vehicle unreliable. Inform yourself! What other brand has trucks going over a million miles?
