  • Today I had the privilege in driving off the dealership lot with a brand new 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in Terra! This is a great truck for many reasons but for every good trait, it has a bad one. I think of it as "death by a thousand cuts"... The turn radius, synthetic feel, plastic interior, lack of tow hooks, etc... Throughout this video I draw several connections between this new 2024 Tundra TRD Pro and my personal 2021 Tundra TRD Pro.
    Which do you prefer? Do you like the old school V8 Tundra or the tech-filled hybridized twin turbo V6 Tundra? What do you like most about this new Tundra? What's your least favorite aspect?
    Thank you for watching as always. Please consider Liking and Subscribing if you enjoyed this video. I greatly appreciate your support!

    Props to Ken Garff for letting you take the truck home so we
    can all get better acquainted.

    I like it. Only complaints are $20k more and was super unimpressed with the smaller windshield. The 360 view in the 21 and older is better IMO.
    Great vid.

    The 2024 is a nice looking truck Untamed. But not as nice as your 21 tundra 👍🏼

    That drive through is the cheapest thing you’ve ever bought on your channels. Ha! Anyway, have always been a Tundra fan but having a hard time liking the new gen. Styling has grown on me a bit but there are so many dislikes. It feels much cheaper inside with thinner plastics and some unfinished edges. Also feels tighter inside. Especially the DC. My second gen DC I can use the back seats if needed and I’m 6’3”. New one is useless. Also not a fan of the shorter windshield. List goes on. I do like some things, but not enough to purchase one. Thanks for the video.

    Planning on getting the 24 tacoma or the tundra. Tacoma is slimmer which I like it for off roading but I like the tundra for it's spacious interior. I'm really not sure but we'll have to wait to see which one I really gonna get when I do go to the dealership to compare. BTW, great review and you just earned yourself a new subscriber 😊

    I would go platinum, with iforce max. With performance package. And trd off road and lift it at dealer

    2022 Tundra TRD Pro MSRP was 67.5k. Wasn't 73k.

    • @untamedreviews
      @untamedreviews  4 месяца назад +3

      That was before destination and delivery, and before regional port adds. Which brought your total over 72K nearly every time. Not to mention greedy dealers slapping markups during that time. Nobody paid less than 70K for a new 2022 Tundra TRD Pro.

    • @Snappydadshoes
      @Snappydadshoes 4 месяца назад

      @@untamedreviews Now now now, we can't go adding "extra" stuff just to inflate our numbers. The MSRP was 67.5k. Destination was like 1500 back then, so 69. I bought a 23 solar octane Tundra TRD Pro for exactly 70.7k, which was after the small price increase from the 22 to 23 model years, that included destination. Yes, people absolutely paid less than 70k.

      @@Snappydadshoes no they didn’t. Sorry man, I follow this stuff very closely and even owned my own toyota-focused brokerage where I negotiated these vehicles for people. Don’t get me wrong, I wish you were right though!

      @Snappydadshoes 4 месяца назад

      @untamedreviews oh OK. So I guess me paying 70k for a year later didn't happen then either? The 2023 model year had a 1400 dollar price increase.

    Just saying your reasoning for selling your Raptor (and lost money) was to get into a less expensive vehicle so you can purchase a new home. You sell the 21 and buy this that excuse is right down the shitter..😅

    • @untamedreviews
      @untamedreviews  4 месяца назад +3

      Turns out we’ll be okay with our finances without selling. Having a cheaper truck helped. 👍 The Tundra won’t lose value.
