Just picked up this exact truck in the Terra color! A lot of people say they thought they didn’t like the color from the pictures but love it in person. I loved it either way. lol
Probably not enough to justify the nominal gain in mpg, however the added power is really what justifies the added complexity. At least partially.. that’s for the buyers to decide
Great review..along seeing you driving around in my neighborhood..:) I'm super on the fence/ torn giving up my 23GX460 to for the Platinum TTV6 only with the off-road package and a few mods..daily driver..Main reason is the extra space..for my bikes/skis and Colorado road trips and such.....Been test driving and doing a ton of research.. I've owned 5-6 4Runners and x2 GX-460's. Just wished they had a bit more room..
As a mountain biker, having a Tundra or Tacoma is a standard. I am still driving my 2017 Tacoma and the backseat was perfect when my daughters were 7 and 8 years old. Now both are 5”8 and 5”7 tall it’s no longer a practical truck for a family road trip. I am debating whether I should buy SUV and keep my Taco or buy a Tundra and get rid of my Taco.
Great review, I really enjoyed watching video, cons?...none, pros?...many, this is a great truck, probably best in class when you consider cost, reliability, technology and performance....thanks for posting!
Four months ago I bought. Exactly the same truck. And so far I have had two problems. I have a noise near the transmission, I have another noise that seems to come from the brakes. I took it to the dealer and they say it's normal. I would like to ask you if your truck also makes these noises?
I didn't notice an abnormal noises in the week I had this Tundra. You're smart to document it by taking it in with the dealer and monitoring if anything changes/gets worse.
I have mine in the white color. I absolutely hate the stock tires. Mine has that ugly TRd step bar which I’m going to remove. Aside from that I like my truck. Turn radius is crap though.
For offroading, you dont need nearly 600 ft/lbs of torque. With that said, why so high torque numbers? One would say, it's for towing. But wait, you can't get tow mirrors from Toyota, they are literally made from unobtanium. I waited 19 months for a Tundra and finally gave up because of this shitty allocation system. My brother is still holding on. I move on to a 2024 Titan XD. Kept my daily driver 2006 Tundra for trail beat up.
@@Santerianumero1 Literally just seen two 24's outfitted with tow mirrors at my local dealer. Personally the stock mirrors are plenty big for normal towing
@@stevenromano8708 yeah they're getting more common. Anyone that has towed will disagree. 8 ft wide travel trailers will beg to differ but to each their own.
Answer: Because you can’t afford the Gen3 Raptor 💀 (it’s not even close to being on the same performance level as the equal year 35 package Raptor LMAO)
Trying to "poor" someone online is such a child move. I can afford the Raptor but most logical people will make their decision based on actual real world need vs. want. Raptor is very cool but most of us don't actually need that much off-road prowess.
Fair and balanced analysis of this truck’s capabilities.

Good choice!
Do you like the simulated speaker sound?
@@SunnyAI had it turned off. Dealership can do it.
My exact model. Loved my previous 2016 Platinum, but this is better in almost every way !!!
Excellent choice. Glad you’re enjoying!
Correct sir, and I don’t think anybody’s arguing that it is. 👍🏻
love the truck hate the over price....
Thank you for answering my question. I already opened a case with Toyota because the dealer don’t want to help me. Thank you.
Does the complication of a turbo and battery actually produce a significant improvement in fuel mileage vs the previous V8?

Buy a Highlander, they are beautiful! Keep your truck, in my opinion Toyota has not yet worked out most of the bugs on the 3rd gen!

Like the truck! I have 2012 tundra. My concern is turbos ! Do you think they have figured the turbos out?
Too early to say. But I would expect them to get it right within a few model years
The look of this is superior to the raptor and any Chevy truck. And the fact that it’s a Toyota makes it that much better.
What a great road!

Hmm, the Terra is growing on me! Waiting for the 3rd gen Tundra to become a bit more reliable once Toyota works out the bugs!
Beautiful truck but not on par on approach angle, break over angle or ground clearance
Wish Toyota would make something to compete with the raptor.
Nice truck for half the price of a Raptor!

Incorrect.
MSRP (and sale price) on my ‘23 was $78k.
35 package.
3.1” Fox live valve shocks.
14” front 15” rear suspension travel.
A truck has to have a 6.5 foot bed or bigger.
Wow, just wow, that’s all I can say without being mean.

Overpriced, ugly and still needs modifications to compete with the GM ZR2, AT4 and AT4X, TRX and Raptor and Tremor.
